Thank you very much, I've been changing my tpms twice chevy malibu 2011 and the light still there, i wanted to go to the tire shop they asking me for $175 to fixed, but when i watching your video, i followed everything and the light is gone and working well now. Thank you, save a lot very helpful.
Great 👍 ! I needed that .
You're the money saving for the Community .
Stay safe and more years of living .
Just tried it on my 2012 tahoe after i installed aftermarket sensors. Worked on first try. Tire shop said they couldn't program. Thanks for the video.
Snap! This is so great. Glad you made this video. I've just had black electrical tape over the dash read out so I don't have to look at it flash at me.
Genius lol 😄
This just worked first try on my 2007 Tahoe!! Great Video!
I can't believe it's that easy. Cant wait to replace my sensors.
Total game changer. Thank you for the great walkthrough!!
Absolutely outstanding Thank you very much. My local shop wanted 160.00 to relearn. I have a 2011 gmc savanna 10 mins to do all. THANKS AGAIN!!!
Glad it helped!
Excellent. Just what I needed. Thanks.
Thanks for sharing much appreciated 👍
good video, someone already made it on a 2012 chevy cruze 1.4, confirm, thank you, greetings

Great video, it has opened my eyes, I bought mobiletron sensors for opel Astra k and no scan tool seems to be able to wake them up, any chance this trick should work for my tpms too?
Grate video thanks for shearing the information.👍👍👍
Genius!! Nice vid!
Hi I got a question. I bought AC Delco part
Dose it need scene tool to do it or I still con do it the same way you did it.
Thank you very much.
Unfortunately this did not work when I installed new Wheels on my 2016 Chevy Suburban that I purchased with TMPS installed already...Thanks for the video, I am sure it will help others.
This procedure only works on GM and some Fords. Any other manufacture requires plug in. And the learning mode on the newer GM's is easier accessed with the steering wheel.. On Fords you cycle the key 3 times and then use the brake pedal twice. The actual procedure is easily found.
do you know if i can do this with a 2009 dodge journey with the is a fobb is also a the key
Rest the oil light by ignition on engine off and push down the accelerator three times
Will it's work the same on a 2013 Chevy Tahoe LTZ?
Does this work for 2014 models as well?
Is there a similar procedure for a FCA vehicle such as Jeep or Dodge.
Hi / How can I do this in the Jeep Compass 2021, because all the TPMS sensors do not show their readings on the car screen without a scan tool
Does this method work on an "06" Lexus IS250 or just certain cars, thank you.
Super cool. Thanks.
Will this work on a 2008 honda accord ?
Does this procedure work for Toyota as well?
Will this work on Chryslers? I got a 08 Grand Cherokee and the sensors are erratic on it
Does this work on a 2005 Honda Odyssey?
Would this work on other makes... eg. Lexus RX?
Excellent video. Thanks...
Does it also works on a 2018 bmw f20?
does this work with all cars or just GM?
Will this work on my 09 eclipse?
I was trying to do the same thing on my 2015 f150 and I couldn’t any idea please I just change my rims and tires which I have to put on newer sensors any help I will appreciate it
Awesome thank you!
Thanks. It works on my 2008 Saturn VUE ¡¡
I bought a 2010 Camaro 2SS/RS a few months ago. The TPMS was on from day 1, they would not stay paired. I had to replace the ECU last month, today I replaced all 4 tires and sensors, again they are not staying paired. Please help!!!!!!
👍GREAT TIP❗️I have a 2021 GMC truck canyon and I want todo the tire rotation myself, can you make a video and how to do that if I decide to purchase the $400 dollars machine please.
Thanks 😉
Do you know if it is possible in jeep vehicles?
My 2015 Chevy Cruze did not see the new "pre-programmed" Schrader 29049 sensors. Car went into re-learn just like the video, I started with the LF tire but nothing happened when I went from 48 LBS to 20 LBS. Probably Schrader doesn't work like this so I'll phone them. Probably need to buy the basic relearn tool somewhere.
does this method work on Mitsubishi ASX cars?
Will this work on a 2011 sienna
Will the Amazon tool work on a 2006 Impala? They are only $11.
i wonder if my 2006 jeep wk can do this but i don`t have the master key
Great video, thanks!
Thank you!
Man this help a lot
Is this method applicable to Toyota ?
Do you know nice tpms hack for the Mazda 3 2010? I will appreciate your help
Will this work only GM vehicles?
Can it work on a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee?
Does this work on Mercedes?
What if no keys what to do then !?
Does it work with hyundai Tucson?😊
Does that works for a Jeep Commander?
Wonder would this work with Hyundai
aHA...so you noted the "Chevy" platform would work...I've got an Infiniti with the different type of key fob...they type where the key simply has to be inside the vehicle for it to start...and I'm not 100% sure it is the "original", but it is the Infiniti brand.
All that being said, would you "guess" this would work for my application? :) TIA for a reply, and it looks to be even if *I* can't program them, if I have a simple tire shop that merely mount/balance tires, that if they put the TPMS in, that I could get the car to an advanced type shop, and *THEY* could program them with the TPMS installed?
What about a 2008 Chrysler Town and Country?
Hello, When you put the car into "learning mode" with the remote, it that the same as doing it from the dash? I was told that is only to relearn tire positions and will not "wake up" the sensors. Please advise I have a 2007 Buick Lucerne
One could use the pressure drop method. The sensor should transmit when the air pressure drops. Then you have to adjust air pressure when done.
Cool!
I did the same procedure and I still don't see my pressures
Is there a way to do this without the factory key fob? I have an aftermarket key fob because I purchased the 08' Grand Prix used and it didn't come with a factory key fob. Thanks in advance
There is but you’d need a bi-directional scan tool for it. Sorry
I bought some from Amazon because previous tire shop broke my original ones. But when I go to the front tire it never beeps when I let air out it actually timed out when I was doing it
Same issue with mine.
Hello from the UK
Hello!
My 2021 Colorado has no sensor on the spare. Can I add one? If so, will it show (5) tires on the read out?
No it won't, but of course you'll have to relearn its position if you put the spare on the vehicle.
The sensors are already programmed. It is the vehicle that is doing the re-learn.
so this would work on a 2011 buick regal CXL Turbo as well? also, how much would a auto repair shop typically to put these on?
So any shop would likely charge the same price they do for mount and balance tires since they have to break the tire down to change the sensor. It should work on the 2011 Buick but if you’re having a shop install the sensors, they would have the tool to program them also.
Will this work on an 08 Lexus GS. Had light for about a year now
No, sorry.
Why does this always works on youtube ? When i try this on my car 2011 camaro it doesnt even work after trying it a 100 times !
How to do you program new tmps sensors to the car? This procedure looks like the re-learn not the program method
The sensors are already programmed. It is the vehicle that is doing the re-learn.
I love CZcams 😂 lol thanks for the video helped out a lot 💯
Good deal! Thanks for watching!
Do you believe this protocol will work on the 2009 Saturn Aura XE?
I would appreciate your suggestion and response.
I can’t say for sure but it doesn’t hurt anything to try.
@@Tomsfoolery. Thankfully it worked perfectly but had to change all 4 TPMs 👍
Nice job and great work shop
Thank you!
How about a ford f-150.
Does this method work for all makes n models that use tpms?
Negative
Can you scan the sensors while they are on the vehicle?
Yes
No luck with my 07 Chevy trailblazer
Any idea if this works on a Toyota?
? I’d like to know as well
I think I’ll just swap them for regular valve stems and ignore the light. My OCD isn’t THAT bad. About to trade in or sell my 2010 Fusion anyway.
The OCD is my problem 😂
I'm old school so I just have a gage that I use too check
Awesomeeeeeee
Would this work on a 2015 Mitsubishi RVR?
No, sorry it will not.
@@Tomsfoolery. Hoping I wouldn't have to go to the dealer.
What other brands does this work on? Honda?
I’m not sure if there’s a shortcut to program the Honda ones or not. I don’t see too many Honda vehicles where I’m at.
Will this work on an acura
Hi, my brother..did it work on your Acura? Got 2007 TL i want to try on
Wow
So will this also work for a 2015 Chevy silverado 1500?
Did it work?
@@jaimerios995 I don't know. Never tried it. I ended up buying a relearn tool from Amazon for 13 bucks and it worked great.
@@TheDbrewer31 I also bought the tool and it worked great on some aftermarket rims with tpms I bought but when I put the oem wheels back on it wouldn't work. Maybe I'll try this method this weekend
@@jaimerios995 not sure why it wouldn't work with the stock wheels. The stocks are on mine and it work good. Was the relearn tool the orange colored one from Amazon?
@@jaimerios995 also mine read through the tire itself next to the valve stem. I didn't try and use it through the rim itself. Maybe try putting the tool against the tire in line with the valve stem and see of that makes a difference.
I have a 2014 Chrysler 300c with 18" rims and want to put 20x9 with sensors this would save me money at dodge dealership if I go this way myself
The programming feature for GM doesn’t apply to Chrysler vehicles, sorry.
I wish this worked for all cars.
Only for Chevy? Or also for Honda’s?
Everything looked good until 3.27 when you bounced the driver's door on the lift vertical column.
Always room for improvement! Thanks for noticing, my wife still hasn’t!
I wish this worked on my 2011 Ram. I am so sick of the car companies making repairs impossible to do yourself without getting sodomized.
Unfortunately it doesn’t. The auto manufacturers try to make it so you take the vehicle back to the dealer for service.
This probably doesn’t work on a Hyundai right 🙃
This is the Re-Learn process, but you don’t explain how to program them.
That explains it I need to program them also that's why this didn't work
Does this work for 2009 Mazda 6???
Does that work on hondas too?
Not that I’m aware of, sorry.
