People come in your life for a reason, for a season, or for life. In a friendship the phone works both ways. I am glad that Ric and Arm are reconnecting it will make the friendship stronger.
Flair had complained that Arn never called when he lost Reid.
I think it was due to Vince not wanting him to because remember, he was a road agent and he was part of office. but unfortunately, arn got fired from the Wwe. And, he didn’t call when he was sick real bad either. Even his then wife Wendy a.k.a. fifi look through all of the text and none of them came from arn.
How do you know, it was because he was an agent? I'm having suspicions about that.
It's amazing to think, because of Kayfabe, you would never think those 2 would ever not be friends. This is great news. The Nature Boy and the Enforcer 2 all time greats.
It's tough to see good friends aren't speaking to each other in years or turn into enemies.
But I'm glad that guys like Ric and Arn or Hulk and Brutus (or Bret and Shawn to an extent) were able to bury the hatchet and became friends again. :)
I never knew, hulk and Brutus had a falling out.
I never knew Bret and Shawn were ever best friends...
@@matts4240 I don't know about best friends, I didn't even know they were friends.
@@matts4240 They were barely friends lol pretty sure they’ve both said publicly that they were just coworkers who got along fine, until they started moving their way up the later & egos got involved. Far from best friends though.
@@isitoveryet9525I figured similar to what you stated, that they coexist as coworkers, said hello to each other , I never really thought of them as any more than that. But, as they moved up in the company and their egos got big and the Montréal screw job then Bret really hated Shawn. But, on a talk show before the m s j .Shawn said he liked Owen and got along with him fine.
Thanks so much to both of you for sharing. I don’t know Ric or Arn, but I grew up watching them every time Mid Atlantic or WCW was on television. It means a lot to their fans (at least this one) that they reconnected.
Jim Herd? Promoters? Ric and Arn has a great run in WCW from 95-97 that I would imagine wasn't the glory days but still those two were as tight as ever it looked to me. Flair's emotions during Arn's retirement promo??? That was an all time great REAL moment to me. Glad to hear they are at least on some form of communicative terms again
Of course they looked close it was for tv.
@@kevinmiller2210 I doubt they were working that for TV, definitely NOT Flair's emotions during Arn's retirement promo. As I said I'm sure it wasn't like the glory days of Crockett but hard to believe they weren't still close in 95-97
It’s sad that in Ric’s mind it all has to do with wrestling. See how quickly he goes back to the “glory days” of the 80’s? I would be willing to bet that it’s less about wrestling, and more so about Marty Lunde, the husband and family man having to separate from Ric Flair the CHARACTER. Ric still doesn’t know who Richard Fliehr is. So he’s still stuck in a character that was/is very immature. If you notice, all the guys who moved away from Flair and he had issues with-Triple H, Arn, Shawn Michaels, Jim Ross, even Tully backed away, they all have all moved away from the ring and transitioned into family men, or the next phase of growth. They don’t lash back out at Flair when he throws dirt on them. They laugh it off or just ignore him all together. Grown man actions. They all realize that at 74, he’s not going to grow up and he’s going to die stuck in a character. So that makes him toxic.
@@dcott7071 l believe you're right
@@dcott7071 I think he just brought up the 80s since that's when he and Arn worked together the most and probably developed their friendship. And I think Richard Fliehr is essentially Ric, it's been said by himself and others that's the type of guy he is in RL, not just kayfabe. But even if he's living in kayfabe I think he does it for financial purposes, just look at Hogan. These guys blew through all their money years ago and lost a lot in divorces too! If they tried to stay out of the spotlight they'd be broke.
You guys were the top kick ass group of wrestlers in words and action. Like elephants coming at you through the dense forrest…here coming the wrecking crew. May God keep you guys. ( He is one tag team partner we all need )
It always takes tragedy sometimes to reunite old friends.
Always, sometimes?

Glad that he and arn have reconnected
Love you Nature Boy. Your the BEST ❤❤❤❤❤❤
You need to get together and hang out reminisce about good times together.. life is short for sure
Yup
diamonds are forever and so are the horseman
Love from one legend to another
Ric and Arn's friendship fell off in the 90s because Ric was still the immature party-boy that he was in the 80s. Most of us that are 40+ have an old friend that just never grew up.
David Flair never leaves Ric's thought.
David is his son that is still living. He also has daughters. Reid is Ric's son who died.
I remember when Arn & Ric were as close as 9 was to 10. Glad to see their friendship reunited.
wooooo😊
Woooooo
He is also even upset with Jim Ross as well. Do you remember the plane ride from hell story? He said something about Jim Ross as well. by the way, arn’s wife is even still friends with ric’s ex-wife Beth. I wonder if he has better feelings about that too.
Good they had no business not being friends….. good to know that they are on speaking terms
What a traumatized industry.
AA ENFORCER deserved better
Hey...you. Yeah...YOU!!!
Pick up that phone and make that move at reconciliation TODAY. Don't lose years waiting for the "right time" or next tragedy to do it.
Even if it doesn't work out the way you wanted to at least you can know in your heart that you tried to make it work
@@C280S EXACTLY
That started out like an Everest College tv ad
Champions flar
Arn being an agent, flair being talent on the road in WWE, late in flairs wwe run started the fracture. Then ric getting divorced from Beth did it further bc off the road, Beth and Arn’s wife were very close. Once they got divorced, ric and arn weren’t as close, and so on it went.
Rick F? I know you know life is short Brotha? Misery loves company and its not worth it? Life is Great? Everyday you wake up? Its a Great day to be alive bubba.
GIVE IT TIME, RIC GONNA $HIT ON ARN AGAIN.
Life's too short to harbor bull shit just forgive forget and move on
Nah.. somethings aren't worth forgiving.. it depends on the betrayal level or disrespect level.. small petty shit is forgivable.. serious offenses nah
How it should be
The friendship faded because of Ric,,,,,
Arn didn't stick by his friend when his son died ?
You don't know either of them
@@BigBadJerryRogers its well known
@@chrisw9643 they fell out before this 🤡
@@chrisw9643 According to Ric he didn't call but I don't think that is what STARTED the issues. There was a reason Arn didn't feel close enough to Ric to call.
First of all you can start off by paying him back the $ you borrowed years ago. I'm sure you make enough with your drip to take care of it.
Pretty sure he owes ole money not arn could be wrong
@@MrGrimgut He owes ALOT of people money.
Ole screwed more people on payoffs than you could count.
Give it a few months, Flair will re-destroy this friendship.
Soo arn called after reid dies. That was flairs statement. Guess flair lied
This goes out to all the haters on here. I'd love to see a day you wore this Legends boots. Ha..... you couldn't take 3 mins without crying back to your mommy's. Nature Boy is the greatest to step in a square circle. Woooooooooo❤❤❤
This is so cringey. Just shut up dude you're embarrassing yourself.
Outside the ring is where all his problems are.
@@ncmetalmusic yeah you got a point. I just try to stay away from all that.
Ric seems like a super low character person being petty so much .
and his owing people some money-Cary Silkin for example
So, Ric is blaming Jim Herd for his fractured relationship with Arn? Ric, you need to let go of the Jim Herd angle. Jim Herd barely remembers you. I bet on your death bed you will still be blaming Jim Herd for something.
not sure he's in need of life advice from random internet guy
Jesus, will he ever stop blaming Jim Herd for his own actions? I’ve heard of people using crutches in life, but this is beyond ridiculous
His son died ?
Now Ric can apologize to Mark Madden!
Never going to happen don't get me started on that guy he threatened to sue a tribute show for marc Curtis if he encounter Jim cornette at iti can't stand mark maddden
I like genuine ric, way less annoying than when he’s talking about chicken wings
Naw "Quite honestly" id bet anything the falling out was because of Ric!!
If Rick Flair could put together a HOF faction of the 4 Horseman himself included along with the talent today who would it be?
There needs to be a female version of The Four Horsemen, or The Four Horsewomen. Lead by Charlotte Flair. Bring in Tully Blanchard's daughter Tess. Natalya Neidhart would be the "Enforcer". Haven't figured out the four member. I can't believe the WWE hasn't done this already.
*Ric, not Rick
