How will people copy the text to download Chrome without a browser? If they do have a browser, why would they use terminal? I’m not being cheeky, just curious if I’m missing something
I have a question my laptop screen currently broke I pulled out the cable that connects to my laptops screen so that it detects the external display as primary if I install it like that will tiny11 detect the external display?

Tiny11 has been a godsend for me, I have an old laptop with 4GB of RAM, before tiny11 my PC would idle at 60% memory usage on windows 10, now it's down to 35% average
@@paandock tiny11 is better than stock, but for my low end laptop the cpu usage was still quite high, so i switched to tiny10, which took the battery life from supposedly 4-5 hours of battery life with tiny11 to 10+ hours with tiny10. I guess the only downside is that tiny11 is much more compatible for gaming and etc, but for simple web browsing and using office 365 on the web it runs smoothly.
@@regularperson9297 i mainly needed it for my drawing tablet, average memory usage is around 50% now with gimp and Firefox installed. The os lags sometimes but instead of the entire system freezing for sometimes up to a minute with only file explorer and gimp open, the lag now is like a small hiccup when opening things then it's pretty smooth everywhere else. Obviously the OS freezing for up to a minute hinders creativity so I'm pretty happy with tiny11. Windows 10 just barely worked on this laptop so it's nice getting an actual upgrade on features and performance.

I may decide to dual boot tiny10 for playing games if it's actually faster and less power hungry. Glad it's working well for you btw, definitely a good idea to give an old laptop a new lease on life if you can.

What a great idea: Install Tiny11, to get some measure of privacy; and then Chrome to nearly eliminate it altogether.
Some people do this but still use edge and Google because it’s “convenient”

I forgot to mention in the video that it is not necessary to copy this command, but you can type it manually in the terminal.

Tiny11 and Windows 11 should output images to an external display without any problems (But I haven't tested it on Tiny11 personally, I'll try to).
