Got a Japanese Beetle or June Bug problem? Plant this to attract a mighty predator!

Apple mint! Our beetle infestation has come into balance since we started seeing Blue Winged Wasps join in on the fun in our perennial food forest. The interesting thing to note is that the only plant I see them on is our Apple Mint. So if you live in a climate that lets apple mint flourish, then plant some to attract this effective beneficial predator of the Japanese beetle and June bug. The female digger lays her eggs on grubs which are then consumed by the larvae when they hatch. Permaculture success! Forever Foods Farm. August 19, 2023.

Thank you for the compliment! The purpose of my videos is just to share some of the interesting things that happen on our tiny farm as our food forest matures. I am in no way a good you tuber as the only videos that ever make it to the platform are unedited 2-5 minute snippets every once in a while.
