You are misreading the Old Testament. Just as one point, God didn’t take too kindly to that kind of attitude in Aaron and Miriam when they were concerned about Moses’ mixed race marriage. When God condemned intermarriage with the surrounding nations, it was because of faith, not race. Mixed race marriage with women who confessed faith in the God of Israel are all over the OT, and if you care about the New, named in the genealogy of Christ. Please don’t misuse scripture to buttress an unbiblical ideology.
@@mikeharris92 this is so wrong. Go listen to Muhammad Ali. He tells you all you need to hear. There is a reason God made you the way you are and it is discussed in the Hebrew Bible extensively. Hebrew>old>new.
And God made You, chewing popcorn, the Way You are, so the rest of us will know what a bigot is and what a perverse interpretation of his word looks like.
My God would appreciate it if you would be a decent human and let people live THEIR lives. You are proof that jealousy is ugly and brings out the worse in people. DONT preach your hateful version of God.
It sounded like he put a dish of water out for predators to come and eat the June bugs. I’m very confused why he kept waving the banana around. He also mentioned some traps that he made, but he didn’t explain what that was about either. Kind of frustrating that he shows us this great result they never brought the plane in for landing
June bugs and Japanese beetles are similar in what they eat and the damage they can do to grass and plants, but the june bug is nocturnal and the Japanese beetle does most of its feeding during the day. They ARE NOT the same insect.
Correct! June bugs are brown and larger and are hanging out by your lights at night and banging against windows, garage doors, etc. The Japanese beetles are smaller, a coppery color with green head and can be found munching on your plants during the day and flying all around your fruit trees, etc.
Good morning Kevin, you and Gigligirl did a fantastic job with your fruit trees. Can’t wait for you to show us the fruits they produce. I’m also glad to see you love animals and don’t want to harm them. I enjoyed this nature video. 🦧 I got your 6:00 👍🕊
I'm with you all the way on this on. We have some fruit trees and bushes in our garden. We also grow our own veggies. We never put pesticides on our greenery. This year we too have lots of birds in our garden. They are wonderful to see. A few years ago, if we saw a bird we were lucky. Now it's a little bird haven. They must have taken thousands of bugs. Love to you and your lovely family.
You are a man after my own heart. I love flowers, fruit, good insects, birds, snakes you name it! I agree with everything you said about saving the environment. Your family is living in a little paradise, a slice of heaven I would say. I know that this takes a lot of work to keep it natural and finding ways that are safe for the environment. God bless you and your family.
Great show and yes we have noticed it here in the UK. Bigger bees, more if them, more birds, healthier stock of wild life in general. Plants, trees all thriving. The sky is bluer the grass is greener, the air is fresher! The power of mother nature without human intervention. So what can we learn from this? So pleased you raised this awareness on this show!
Kevin, you're a beautiful human being! Thank you for an incredibly important message about our beautiful, magical earth. Love and blessings to you, Dearly and Daniel.
Beautiful kevin really beautiful, hardwork pays off, respect for nature is a rare thing these days,if you give nature the respect it deserves it will give back to you in many ways, well done kevin i always see in you your respect for the nature that is around you and the wildlife who live in it. Try and imagine a world without the sounds of birds in the morning,i have its not a nice thing to think about.
Howdy from Texas..I love the look of your land. Everything yall have planted is flourishing. Keep up the good work. God Bless you and your beautiful family..🍄
Good morning. I just wanted to let u know that I truly enjoy your videos!! I find u very entertaining, knowledgeable, and quite humorous as well:):) so thank you for the time u spend making these videos. I love em'!! Lol God bless u and your family:):)
Good evening Kevin here from the UK, beautiful garden and you and Dearly have worked so hard and certainly paid off Hope to see more videos Kevin and 'got your Six' stay safe guys
I have a backyard habitat I grow organic fruit and vegetables and the amount of wildlife that come only in my yard is amazing tons of birds bats bees and everything else I use absolutely zero chemicals and my garden is lush I agree with you 100 %
Four or five years ago I seen an indego bunting for the first time here in southern Ga. I even had them nest in my houses. I had never seen one before that. Game and wildlife told me what they were. I took pictures of them. I have not seen them since. However, I now see small eastern blue birds the last couple years. Now they make homes in my bird houses.
Kevin this is one of your best video that you have made you are right even hear in the uk we have see more birds and butterflies than ever before it’s amazing I love you little homestead it’s Beautiful all credit to you and your little family well done 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🍌
Thank You Kindly!! For this video. I myself am a big supporter of "let nature do, what nature does," though I've been struggling with animal/pest controling of my own.. Birds, snakes, mice, I'll take all this into account. Most certainly. I love you spirit, I love your passion, and your property is Beautiful.. I wish I could be there. 😅 Thank You Sir.
Excellant video!! I hope people pay attention to this! You should always read the warnings on everything before you decide to use it. This is such a chemical dependent society, they have no idea the harm they are doing to everything around them, including themselves!! Your property looks absolutely beautiful and your plants are flourishing!! I can't believe how tall those leyland cypress trees have gotten!! I remember how small they were a couple of years ago.
For the last couple of years I’ve been thinking the same thing! One year I thought we had a snake problem, I got rid of some logs and I essentially removed their best habitat on my property. Later that same summer I noticed a lot more mice in my shed and garage. Lesson learned , leave the snakes alone as I prefer that over mice. Next I sprayed some insecticide around the perimeter of the house as I was finding myself stepping into too many spider webs when around the house. A couple weeks later , I had more mosquito bites than ever. Next I treated my lawn with weed killing fertilizer, following year I found my self with lots of spots and soil hard as rock. For the last two years I leave everything alone. If I see a wasp nest I leave it alone. If I see ants , I leave them alone. If I see dandelions, I appreciate the deep tap roots bringing the much needed nutrients to the top and tilling my clay soil naturally with its root. We have to respect the food web! Great video ! Really had me reflecting.
Michigander Pinay gardener here too and i have the June bugs problem. I found these bettles traps yesterday at the home depot and hanged it right away but we had a little rain last night and today so its not working very well just yet. I found a few maybe 10 in there but tomorrow is gonna be sunny day and i hope it catches them all. I never used any chemical sprays because i have birds and bees hanging around and i dont want to poison them. So Last year I had to pick them bugs one by one and drop them in a soapy water. I hunt them at night like crazy with a flashlight hahahahahha and one time a police stopped wondering what im doing in the middle of the night. Now I found your video and I have to find your spray solution. I need to kill them now because i have dahlias growing and the beetles feasting one of my plant. Anyway im going to find your other video and thanks for sharing your knowledge. Please say "kumusta" to your significant other. Im from Mindanao btw. Cheers!
I had to say one more thing, I wish my mom was still alive so I could share your world and chemical free life with her. She had a large family and was kind of country like you and I know that she' say you guys remind her of her childhood in PA with her brothers. She was an environmentalist who had a degree in environmental science from Harvard where she also worked. She taught me the things that you are teaching your son. And in this fake computer world, I thank you for continuing the lesson. The greatest thing about it is, that you've turned it on its its ass. Through the illusion of the internet, I believe you're teaching a whole bunch of people about the reality of earth. Tangible life, growing not buying, and living in the moment. Mindfulness is but a breath of air, recycled in the trees. And everything and nothingness are carried by a breeze. Ta ta ta....your friend in spirit, G from Boston.
Hey buddy it's G from Boston. I'm brand new to your show but I must be crazy too bcuz I love it! From one real soul to another, I subscribed to Dearly's show bcuz of you and I'd love you both to read the comment that I left for you and her. Stay zen, G
I read recently of someone who planted wild grape vines on a fence outside of crop area. Planting a sacrificial plant they enjoy will probably work best for me....until I have a diverse forest of my own, that is. :)
Your gardening is wonderful..i can imagine how lovely it would be to wonder around there..all the beauty..good job Kevin...its nice that you show us all of this. I love your shows .Thankyou...its a nice getaway. Hugs to you and Dearly.xoxo
Happy Monday Kevin! I'm going to be spreading your timely information to my friends & neighbors and direct them to your channel! They can see for themselves what's going on over on your property & listen up! Great information👌 for all of us, Good Observation Kevin!! Thank You so Much & have a Great Week! 🍎🍑🍒🥕🍐😊
I wish I could get snakes to visit my yard. They take short care not the rodents who want my garden veggies. I pout more bird baths out this year and have really enjoyed the increase of bird and dragonfly activity:) Great video!
Thanks for the tutorial but wanted to let you know that June bugs and Japanese beetles are different. They even look different if you will look closely. Plus June bugs are nocturnal and Japanese beetles feed during the day. But thanks for the multipurpose bug killer recipe!
I agree with you. I dont use pesticides on any part outside or inside the house, I have pets, and I don't want them to get sick, plus I believe you do more harm to many animals and other insects that may help with nature.
This is wonderful! I so love your message in this video and how you present it. I have been watching your videos for some time. I always enjoy them. Today I had to subscribe. I hope people watch and receive your message. I see a greater variety of birds here in Southern Indiana this year. You hit on so many relevant points about the Virus and the environment. Thank you for this! This is the first You Tube Channel I have subscribed to. I have never felt moved enough to do so before.
Hello Kevin, a beautiful day there on the homestead. Dearly and yourself are such an inspiration to me. I look forward to your videos. you inspired me to start gardening. I will purchase a green house to get started. as I mentioned before I have too many wild critters around to start a garden. today I went out and planted some garden onions I was given to see if they will grow. I live in the city, so it's hard to garden like I I truly want. so thank you for all you do. and I got your six Kevin. 👀👀
when i was a kid we had a particularly heavy June bug infestation one summer at our house north of Phoenix, My dad got the idea to use .22 cal birdshot and we started shooting down all the bugs we could, it was like flak artillery. I know this may break someones heart but it was hilarious and so fun, probably not so for the beetles but they didn’t know what hit them. 🤫🤗

But what about the oil on our roads that wash into the streams and creeks that lead down to the sea? The chemical companies also own the big pharmaceutical companies too. We lived there to immigrating from Thailand and Laos before here in the United States permanently since 84 🌱👏
Well done
how many of these do you have to make? One per plant/tree?
I really wonder if the American pitcher plant would be able to take them
On
I can't wait to get the recipe we have trouble with those things
Same
I watched the whole video where is the recipe for the Japanese Beatles 🙄??????
when i was a kid we had a particularly heavy June bug infestation one summer at our house north of Phoenix, My dad got the idea to use .22 cal birdshot and we started shooting down all the bugs we could, it was like flak artillery. I know this may break someones heart but it was hilarious and so fun, probably not so for the beetles but they didn’t know what hit them. 🤫🤗
How do you make this solution and apply?
June bugs and Japanese beetles are different species.
My husband and I have only used organic fertilizers and sprays for many years . Good for you Kevin. But what about the oil on our roads that wash into the streams and creeks that lead down to the sea? The chemical companies also own the big pharmaceutical companies too. Eventually in the distant future we will not use cars. anymore
there is not much oil on roads at all. Do you see oily roads? No you don't. Don't be silly please.
Raccoons also eat them .. I had some in a soapy bucket all gone the next day, they also devoured a marigold bush because it was all tangle up the next day and the bugs were gone.. I have them really bad this year I believe because I have to keep my chickens locked up.. because of our new puppy that will not leave them alone..
Amazing you spent 30 minutes to direct your viewers to another video where maybe there's a cure? 😥
I had some baby raspberry plants shipped to me a few weeks ago from Bakers. They were delayed, dry and the few leaves had gone soggy and fallen off when I opened. I've done my best to get them well, but one is so tiny and not gaining any height. Just a tiny little bunch of leaves. Is there a way to prune it to promote height and vigorous growth?
no you don't prune a baby
Is this twilight zone? What does he use?
Omg get to it
What's Life without a vigorous abundant Nature - I've noticed much the same & I think it's especially so in England... So glad you read to the bottom of WARNING!, but how many people don't? The natural path hasn't worked for me at all. I've been all natural for 4 years and the june bugs and crows and squirrels destroy my apple and peach trees. I'm going to try netting and natural traps next year but if that doesn't work then I'm going to start spraying.
Our June bugs are nut japanese beetles big deference
There's a total difference in a Japanese beetle & June Bugs
Japanese beetles are different from June bugs.
9 minutes in and I STILL can't find what the heck he's supposedly spraying. I give up. Don't waste your time on this video.
Did he ever get to the point? I gave up.
They are not June bugs they are Japanese beetles
This guy wears me out!!
Not convinced one bit.
He she it or they are definitely aware of the care put into your garden. I mean, they've already stolen livestock.
Sound and vision different. Sound not as clear as usual!? Just saying.
Great so just ignore em and hope nature will do your work for you 🙄
it won't work. They are non-native and infest areas. You have to take serious measures.
Thank you for wasting 14:44 seconds of my life to say something you could have said in .30 seconds.
yeah agree
What a waste of my time.
Waste of time
T t t t day jr.
