Electric-tennis racket / but zapper has been saving my life, definitely gonna use all the options I can
Also, I got the cheat sheet.. thanks!
Planting four o clocks will help kill the Beetles too. I tried it and it really works!
Thanks for the tips. Enjoyed the video. Nicely done.
You are welcome Theresa! Glad you enjoyed it. :)
The SEVIN brand really works for these beetles! But DIY is good too
Thank you so much! well done, personable and pleasant to listen to you! Also, not too hyperbolic... yay!! Thanks!
I know it's kind of off topic but do anybody know of a good place to stream newly released series online ?
@Avery Kabir I use FlixZone. Just google for it =)
What do you catch them below the plant with when you are shaking the plant? What item or tool do you use?
I am having a difficult time determining if my Beatles are Japanese beetles or June bugs? Mine are green and iridescent like an emerald jewel but yours in the video did not look like that. Would you or someone else please help me differentiate between these two? Thank you.
I spray the plant affected with a mixture of garlic, tabasco, oil, soap and wather , they realy dont like that ! and also plant some white geranium that is toxix for them
Lorraine Corriveau where do you get Tabasco?
Hi, is the guide still available ? The link sends me to a dead end! I put my email info in and took me to Facebook where I saw a video, but no guide to download 😢
I found a billion grub worms in my Vermicomposting/Compost bin. Will Nematodes kill the grub worms (which is what I DESIRE to do) but also unintentionally harm my worms as well (which I do NOT desire to do)?
The cheat sheet is not available
I have not found my Japanese beetles to be “drunk” in the mornings where they will not move and can just handpick them off as the video states. Mine fly off and fly a billion circles around my yard as if they are a race car 🏎️ driving many circuits round and round the course! They DO fly pretty clumsily though as if drunk though if that is what he meant , but I definitely could never approach them without them flying off and me wasting valuable time chasing them or waiting angrily for them to circle back around again to try to capture them and failing miserably at it which only frustrated me more! 😡 The only 2 things that I have found to work are to capture them flying with a Butterfly Net or to hit/knock them down with something and then stepping on them until crushed, etc. Perhaps my tips might help someone. :)
Milky spores may very well kill off the larva of the beetles but what about the larva that is in a mile radius of your garden and all your neighbors that does not have the milky spores
Let’s feed some of these to Asian carp
I do not have any problem with Japanese Beatles
They do not like wormwood
Terrible advice
so far I see people are
talking about Neem oil and I am going to try it this year because last summer the bastards destroyed one tree completely and my roses. Not this year.
Why is this terrible advice? How would you recommend doing it differently and why (so we can learn from it)?
