Like the dry ramen or the lemon cake batter dessert you made for the judges on master chef or the salmon on a college textbook you made in the final episode of that season. The woiwurrung people would tell when it was emu egg collecting season by the stars, when a group of stars called "the great emu" would rest over mountains, they knew it was time to collect emu eggs. Aboriginal Australians have and always had a great connection to the earth, and nature. They believed they were as much part of the land as the animals and plants, so they always knew never to take too much, and to give back as much as they took... they would only take what they needed, no more, so the land and animals always thrived, and the emus never died out
