Please what do you do to the plants after harvest?
Harvest of hydroponic tomatoes is done for at least 36 weeks depending on the variety. The plants are pulled down. Fresh seedlings are planted in the hydroponic media.
Nice vidéo so how many tomato did you plant in this greenhouse

We fight pests not all insects
I would like to know how the hydroponic soil is made. Thanks
We do not make it, we source volcanic rock from our nearest volcanic mountains.
❤❤❤

Are the roots submerged in a liquid solution or planted in the volcanic rock?
The tomatoes are planted on volcanic rock. Nutrients are supplied via drip system

@@GrAnDeUrAfRiC thanks.. What's the distance between the crops and between the rows?
Distance between rows is 50cm while between crops is 30cm
@@GrAnDeUrAfRiC thanks
@@GrAnDeUrAfRiC sorry for asking so many questions.. I have one more 😁 what is the average yeild per plant in a season?
Hello thank you for answering each individual question, its very helpful. And i got one, how many months does that (15-25kg) harvesting going on? Or how many months each stem can be harvested?
Thank uuuu.
Harvesting can last for 6-9 months depending on variety and Good Agricultural Practices
Anna F1 for example?
yes like Anna F1
Do you change the nutrients based on the process the plant's going through (when it's only got blossoms and then when it comes to getting the fruit) or do you use the same nutrients all along?
We do formulate the nutrients needed for each stage of growth
How much is the distance between each stem?
And I also wanted to ask the distance between each row.
30cm between stems, 50cm between rows
The initial cost of hydroponics system is very high in Pakistan, can you please make a video on your hydroponics system like growing media , water cycling etc
We have taken note of this feedback and shall relay the same to our team.
Really nice👍🏿 I'm in Ivory Coast could you give me the name of these tomatoes varieties and the insects traps please?.

Nutrient solutions formulated for hydroponic tomatoes are fed to the crops using drip system
Tomatoes farm is good for human kind consumption
Agreed!!!
Is it hydrophonic? And one year how many ton can produce from 8 m by 30m
Yes it is hydroponic, production depends on variety
How does bee pollinate flowers in green house
You can add bees (that do not sting) into a greenhouse though tomatoes and/or capsicums will self pollinate as you carry out other crop management practices like staking/trellising, pruning etc
Does this system require electricity?
Yes it does, either from solar or generator
Good job brother respect 👏 👍
Thanks and welcome
How many tomatoe plants do you have in that greenhouse?
1,500 stems
How big this area is?

Hello Saleh, we can supply. Please email us via grandeurafrica@gmail.com
@@sceptertv Yes, if the hydroponic system is indoors, or in a greenhouse, this way you can control the temperature no matter the season.
How many seasons
Can you plant tomatoes In that greenhouse in a year

I learnt that urine from rabbit is a good pesticide used on plants.
How true is this and is it good for tomato farm?
We have never used rabbit urine as a pesticide. You should test it out and publish some results
What’s the spacing of the pathway.
50cm
Isn’t that too tight
It depends on your crop management skillset. You could make the spacing bigger if space is not an issue for you. The more the spacing, the larger the structure.
I've always been given the impression that hydroponic grown tomatoes have a bitter taste as compared to field grown or aquaponic tomatoes, and their shelve life is somewhat shorter as in they go bad quicker than the aforementioned methods of planting tomatoes, how far true is this?
When you farm the tomatoes yourself, you will easily dispel the stereotypes and myths. The hard worker learns humility and keeps learning. Nutrition of hydroponics tomatoes is very accurate and ensures higher shelf life (21days) and better, firmer, fleshy tomatoes
Can we get the details of the nutrient you people use.

Please i am a greenhouse grower and i need sample of your feeding programme.
Good day to you, please request for the feeding program via grandeurafrica@gmail.com
How much do you get in a year with that greenhouse of yours
At least 10-12 tonnes per season if all goes well
@@GrAnDeUrAfRiC what is the average yeild per plant in a season? you answer 15 to 25 kg
but here you answer 10 to 12 tonnes so if we calculate it we found 10000/1500=6.66 kg per plant?
The yield does not change. Yield per plant is 15-25kgs. Yield per greenhouse is AT LEAST 10-12 tonnes per season. Please note that you can produce more than the worst case scenario of 10-12 tonnes.
When projecting the production, we always give the minimum production with an attrition of 15-20% included. It helps manage expectations.
My hydroponic Tomato flowers are falling off may I know the reason .
Sorry you're experiencing flower abortion. It could be boron deficiency, high temperatures, high humidity, feeding high nitrogen fertilizers and many other factors. You can start by ticking off some of the issues we have highlighted
@@GrAnDeUrAfRiC tq so much
Could you please get me full information

My dear, i see soil as growing medium. How it is hydroponic? Plz explain.
What we have used is called Volcanic Rock, also known as, Pumice. Pumice is a soil-less medium, hence hydroponics.
GRANDEUR AFRICA hi Team.. maybe a silly question but what is the name of the plastic pumice container the tomatoes are growing in? I figure this must be one of the costly item you purchase? Is this used to collect your nutrient solution after circulation? Thank you in advance🙏🏻
The Mapal troughs contain the pumice. We do collect the nutrient after circulation for recycling
