Nice! You should also try using a heat gun to the tops once scrapping them :) melting them a little after makes them even smoother and shiny!

I have a question. During the hot seasons, how do you keep your lip balm from melting?
I use more beeswax than normal. It keeps it from melting as fast
YOU CAN PUT THE LIP BALM WHERE THE LOW HEAT CAN COME. LIKE UR BLOCKER CLOSET (BUT DO NOT PUT IT IN THE FRIDGE)
SECOND THE DARK TUBE AND METAL TUBE CAN MAKE THE LIP BALM MELT EASIER.
AND FINALLY THE TEXTURE OF LIP BALM MUST BE HARDER SUCH AS: MORE BEEWAX . BUT U CAN USE PURE HONEY WHICH IS HAD WAX ON IT TO REPLACE THE OIL MIX WITH BEEWAX.

There isnât any water in this formulation so I donât use a preservative. Since the item is oil based it mostly preserves itself however a preservative can be used if youâre looking for your products to have a longer shelf life. Thank you for watching! đ Iâm happy that this video was able to help đ

Hey .. love the video ..just a couple questions I noticed with your recipe you didnât use any preservatives so how long would the lip balm last without going bad or expiring ?? do you have add any preservatives to the balm ?
The balm doesnât have water so it can last for up to a year. Since it is based with oils it doesnât need a preservative
Is there a reason why you couldn't just melt the left over product and try to get more tubes?
This can be done I just chose to throw out the excess. âșïž

How does this product withstand the sun? Have you put it to sit in the sun for long? Does it smell?
It doesnât melt! I thought it would but after hearing reviews from customers who have accidentally left this in their cars this summer I have learned that they donât melt at all. It also does not smell. It smells like the fragrance that I put in it and that is all. âșïž

I get mine from Amazon. I use filtered white beeswax.

3-6 months. It doesnât contain a preservative but itâs is also oil based so the shelf life varies.
Is it fine if I donât use cocoa butter?
Yeah thatâs fine. Most butter options are great just make sure you do you research prior to formulating
