I carried one of those in Gettysburg during the Civil War as a 12 year old teenager soldier. Yeah, it was my favorite pistol when I took control of the artillery on the upper heights and captured dozens of Union soldiers. Often take it out to parades and Cracker Barrel for breakfast dates with the Southern Ladies. Mine still shoots fine, as I got a 18 point buck at over 200 yards with open sights while riding a horse. Yes sir, this is a sweet shooter and converted to take Glock magazines. Truth.
Is this model available as a reproduction? If not, why not? A quality reproduction that shoots well would probably sell pretty well. What are your thoughts? Thanks

Patrick Waters There are a whole bunch of these made and originals are common and many still shootable. I own one and shoot it.
