as an IT specialist, I died a little inside when I seen the server rack in the basement (it'll die when there are floods), I was in a coma inside when I seen it next to washmashines, wich had water-pipes...
She’s off the ground, don’t worry haha. My house isn’t the largest in the world, not many places to put things.
@@snowcatxx87 Can strongly recommend water leak detectors that you plug into the home automation to send a push notification/warning. Preferably standalone. Same with fire alarm, carbomonoxide etc. Cheap insurance, especially the flood one. I had two houses heavily damaged by floods. My current house had the entire kitchen+bedroom+bathroom flooded as a pipe burst that was between those rooms and wasnt detected in time.
The other time was when there was a water outage in the area, and grandma put the sinks on max flow to see and hear when they would come on, and then went on vacation and forgot about it. The drains didn't drain fast enough.Waist high water in the basement and mould all over.

pocket screws are good if you never intend to move/disassemble/upgrade/reinforce any of that MDF to actual wood.
This is a built in, so it will never move.
