This dude is so legit. He's not trying to rip us off with courses and products. Just straight knowledge. All day.
Oh WOW...
@Enrique Gutierrez jealous?!? LMFAO that's the best joke yet!
By knowledge you mean what not to do?
You should consider doing how-to-vids for example like strapping certain loads or backin in tight spaces etc 👍🏽👍🏽
Haaaaaave ya seen Alex back up?? Training videos on that won't we forthcoming anytime soon... 🤣🤣😂 love ya Alex, Just sayin 🤣
Okay 👌🏻

You learn that shit on your own. Or you don't belong here.
There's videos on this subject all over the internet
It’s easy to spot you in the videos with that neon beanie!
That dispatcher’s keeping you busy. You found a great one.
Mr Alex , sir again you definitely get my blood pumping by watching you break down how to run the hot shot and and how to book and be successful with your business with the ups and downs ! I love the content boss !! Learning so much !! Keep up the great content sir very informative!!
Glad to see you’re back. Great content. I appreciate the transparency.
I've always like the majority of your content. Whether it's day-to-day vlogs, rants about frustrations along the way, or interesting things that you've found out about the hotshot industry. Overall your personality shines through all of it and that's what I'm here for. I dig the energy my guy! Keep it going and don't overthink ... everything you've put out so far is dope af! 😁🤙
Thanks for sharing your experience, thinking strongly about hotshot trucking towards the end of 2021.
Loved this video. This is what I wanted to see. Keep up the awesome work and stay safe.
Suwanee!! My hometown. Awesome video btw , we love seeing the 'normal' loads, just like seeing how you work and even driving on the highway as a background while doing other things is awesome for those of us that'll never be truckers but appreciate the skill and hard work of you guys doing the work.
He pronounced it wrong lol
Nice seeing some of the numbers and what you actually gross as far as income to miles. You should do a video breaking down your expenses per mile and what it take per mile to break even.
Regular vlogs man I wanna see what it's like in the day to day, not just the bad days or when something happens out of the norm
South Georgia hit shot has you covered in that are also.
I agree.. when he didn't post the last week or two I was wondering if he was okay lol
@@ricardocarrion2272 no kidding, dont get me wrong I love to see the hardships but I just think the day to day is what's really cool. Between you and me I just started running hotshot and I learned SO much just from watching day to day vlogs
@@marshallfox8234 TowPiglet is the main reason I started putting my 450 to work.. but I'm literally starting from the bottom of the bottom.. I only have a little 7x14 flat deck trailer that I pull with my F450 that has a 12' x 8' wide flatbed attached
@@marshallfox8234 I'm going to look into if any dispatchers work with people like me.. I'm willing to put the work in but I find myself constantly looking for loads when it's too late and I'm in a rush
Good stuff on an overview of the hotshot stuff. 30 yrs as a company driver thinking my last few will be this. Thanks
Great video. More of these. For those of us who want to drive for a living but can’t, show what your job is like.
Awesome video Alex it's great to see what goes into your work week
As always God bless and stay safe out there 🙋♂️ 🇬🇧
I like the "Owning up to being a Father" part and giving your lovely bride a break! :)
I like exactly how you did this video. I also liked the video of you searching the load board and contacting the brokers to book the load.
Congrats Alex on 100K Subs. I enjoy all of your content, keep it up.
Straight up on every point...I have learned a ton..
Man your on top of the numbers man love it 👍 thats how you make it work.
We just need to start calling you money man 😂 stay safe and keep the wheels rolling ✌️
Great video, we met at the pilot in N. Little Rock, you’re awesome!👍🏽
Keep the videos coming man!
I like the new format of the videos. Like watching a news cast.
Hey dude, you're awesome. Thanks and keep it up

Good run! I liked the fact they chained the machinery down for you. LOL! Enjoy the babies! They grow up way to fast and before you know it they are adults and you ask yourself, where did the time go! Both my girls are adults now, but will always be my babies!
Damnnnn my dude.! Good shit.! 😂👍 keep that trailer full & going.! 🛣💨
Alex, listen you need like 3 hardwired cameras on the trailer that start recording with the flip of a switch in the cab. That way you can quickly and simply gather content. Just a thought.
I was thinking something similar. This will at least give some good B-Roll for the times when you forget to film 🤙
You gonna pay for that set up?
Great video Alex. Transparent
Good morning..Love your video’s
Great work!!
Great video! Really wanting to make the jump into hot shotting.
Congratulations on 100k subscribers 👏.
Love your videos and thinking about getting started. I have a CDL and a good chunk of money for start up costs, BUT, how about a video on what you net!?
Whats up Alex great content as always
Tow piglet I would like to see a map from your google maps history if you have it on, I think it would be interesting to see all your routs travel in one map, no need to talk about it but maybe in a background while you’re blogging would be cool! Glad to see you with the little ones enjoy them time goes fast!
Awesome.
I’m working at this warehouse for 5 years already and I need something new with bigger pay.
Congratulations on hitting 100k subscribers
Nice job Alex! Still waiting for my Big Tex 16GN. Hopefully December like they told me in August. Can’t seem to get any status on it. Sent an email to Big Tex and supposedly they’re getting back to me. Btw Albany area is where my family still lives. I love living in South Carolina tho.... 👍✌️
I never thought I'd describe hot shot trucking videos as Tarantino-esque
Good video I learned a lot.
Nice one 👍🏻
hello alex i follow your channel and i love your videos !! what is the trailer that you use now, and currently you already have your CDL
As soon as I started watching this video I was like Hey that's where I work at. Smithfield Sioux Falls SD. Wow small world.

All I need is the smell of a truck stop coffee and feel like I’m doing the work 😆 watching the video
Good video and great revenue
The hotshot diva
I think I may have seen you on I-12 in Louisiana a while back!
Great video. I would’ve liked to seen what your net was after your taxes & expenses.
I've Seen Snow from August to April Back in Da Late 80.S...
Nice!!
I’m not a hotshot trucker, but I always watch your videos. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 What was the problem with the turbo? Is their a vid coming on your aux fuel tank?
It was just a sensor
As always, great video man.
Have you worked out what your cost per mile is?
Ive been working in tioga nd for the past 9 years! Two weeks on two weeks off.
We what to see the day go to work just Stick the camera in the windshield and go on, and on top of the trailer.
On the loading and off loading don't for get to talk to use sir Alex.
Don't forget your educating us, The family touch at the end was good too Makes you just like us sir, Father.
Hey great content, I’m looking into hotshot but cant debate if I should get CDL. Are you doing this with or without CDL?
Good video
I have learned a lot from your post and enjoy everything you post. It actually made me want to do hotshot. I actually have a challenge for you if you could from your experience give advice. I am blind in my left eye. I learned that by the fmsca there is a waiver to drive. I went through the Kong and hard steps to obtain this but have to be restricted to my home state which is Missouri for three years to show I can qualify for the federal which would be interstate instead of intrastate. I’m wanting to get your knowledge on this. I have the capital for truck and trailer for no overhead. But have no experience on the load boards to show because I haven’t started. Is this worth my time?
Get 2 or 3 dispatcher, keep top one on hourly then pay the other 2 as they bring in the load by percentage.
be your own dispatcher
GREAT Video Alex. Just wondering how you came up with the name “Tow Piglet “ for your business?
I have a small pickup diesel.. About to put an 18 behind it, w stabilizer. Should be good. Thinking enclosed.

When did Smithfield buy John Morrell?
1995
Smithfield purchased John Morrell & Co in Sioux Falls, SD, in 1995 and Circle Four Farms in 1998.
saw a hotshot hauling 4 cars going south on I-95 in Florida last night. i was doing 85 and he passed me like i was standing still.
didn’t think that was 1) safe, 2) not profitable. speed kills mpg.
Out in west Texas, hot shot trucks run 85-90 all day long.
Turn his plates in
@@johnstark5780 mind your own business
Sounds like he was running late!
Call F H P on him. Be a snitch as Demorats love snitches!
can you make a video on how you personally like to distrubute your weight especially getting a load and then somewhere getting an unplanned partial. like what makes you decide where to put what due to weight
Haven't even seen the video but hire me Mr. TowPiglet. It'll mean the world
Do you have a CDL A & live in Texas? If so, he might do that.
@@markbremmer8642 I do not but I can and will get it and I live in las Vegas
Been there many times!
Alex, thank you for making these videos for us. How one can use your dispatcher?
Go to central dispatch.com/signup and that should work. Per Alex's info
Chasing the dragon 🐉
Sugga boom boom
How do you handle your permits in states that require them? Do you run an EFS card and get fuel discounts?
nice to see some one besides myself use tow trucks to help unload .did you pay for that or was that the customer who paid .
What’s your mpg? On that sweet run? Did the dot mess with you? And thank you for the blog!!
Hey Alex. Would it have made a big MPG difference if you had put a tarp on the blue water tank for the wind displacement?
Not sure that would add enough to compensate for the wear on the tarps
Courtney said she wants to see everything even when its going right
I am starting out in a couple weeks. What dispatch/brokerage do you use? Or recommend
I live 29 miles west of Sioux falls!!!
I got a new 2020 ram 2500 ega cab 4x4 that's not a dully. What size flat bed do you think I should start with to stay non cdl. I just wanna do it on the weekends
Is the gvwr of your trailer over 10000lbs? If so how did you operate in California without CDL?
You can tell it's morning bc those babies were quite. Lol
hi Alex, my son and I are in the process of opening our own hotshot company, what dispatcher do you recomment?thanksfor all of your info, i been following you
Alex love your channel lot of good information but you got to lose the lime green hat brother LOL
Alex, i think it's pronounced Tioga, (tie-o-ga) i live in Pennsylvania and we also have a little town named Tioga
REMINDER IF your wider than trlr? You need Special Permit (if ANYTHING passes wider than trlr
that's how running hotshot should be. this winter 20' from jan to mid feb we averaged $5,400,00 a week. then i couldn't buy a load and quit hot shot because of covid
Anybody know the name of the beat playing during the intro???
Great Video 👌
Nice Alex I live in clifton nj. What part of clifton was it?
What about parking the truck and flying home. Might be cheaper to find a storage/laydown yard. Flights are cheap.
Ha. Tioga worked there for 4.5 yrs. Good money but in the middle of nowhere
Can I haul and find loads where I move a Load with someone else's load on there trailer I have my dully carrier insurance mc# and usdot # but my trailer won't be done being built till jan of 2021 if you have any recommendations Alex please let me know
Alum Bank Pa. about 20 miles from my house
Sorry I'm new to the hotshot industry.. I hear you saying your dispatcher sent you a new load throughout the video. This is something I am interested in because it seems that having a dispatcher makes the job easier since you don't have to look for the loads yourself. How could I go about finding a dispatcher that could do the same for me?
I got a question do you pay for your own fuel, or do they help you.
How can you get a job like this. I been interested in doing something like this and I have no idea how to get started and what all you need and how hard it is to get started
The A - Team...
Do you own your truck and trailer or do you lease it through another company?
You passed through Yuma AZ.
Hello, which class of drivers license do you need to drive the dually truck with trailer?
Hola quiero saber por favor . Puedo trabajar con mi licencia de conducir regular o necesito CDL?
Thank you. Cool info, after all the Certifications, Licenses, L.L.C., Insurance, Legal fees (already budgeted for current project Equipment costs) is it worth working part-time like 8 to 10 days a month? I am buying a truck and trailer to continue a farm venture, so I need these vehicles anyway any advice on the business and administrative end investment? Thank you Lu from South East Michigan.
No
How would you go about getting with businesses to haul for them?
I'm wanting to get into this. Who are you dispatching thru?
I still haven’t forgot about the Officer pulling you over when you got Dodge. The fuel tank addition, (plumbed in, gravity feed, pump..,) What the mpg on Dodge is? Glad the broker is helping. It just makes sense. Long as he is kept updated on where trucks are, where drivers are on hours (and mental/physical state). Most days Driving +10 hrs is easy. But some days I would rather sleep 5 hrs and run all day/night. Do you have where they check in with him daily? Or is he checking with you/them?
Maybe mention the other drivers in general?
After 6 months compare costs for Dodge vs FORD lease? Then for yr. total costs, payments, maintenance... fuel, mileage. (So total cost, then adjusted for mileage as drivers should be putting in more miles). Thanks
Geez, that was alot. No wonder he hasn't answered you back.
