This guy gives every knowledge for free. While everyone are busy in selling. Keep up this wonderful thing. ❤️
You're welcome :-)
Today CZcams suggested me this
Right
Technically he is selling us to advertisers but it's still a great video.
Well he’s making money anyway depending on the views he gets so there’s that
Love the first tip! Instead of continually shooting, shoot with intend! Thank you! 😆👍
I came here to say the same thing. Not only does it save editing time.. saves on battery and SD card space too
Agree with all but would add, so it's not forgotten, that Chris Marker's travelogue "Sans Soleil" uses the opposite philosophy and is considered one of the greatest film travel docus ever made.
I purchased an Udemy course just for this but what i learnt in your 15 minutes video is more valuable than the entire 2 hr course. Really appreciate your efforts and time you spent to teach us newbies. Thanks !! 🙏
The most exquisite and valuable aspects of life are often those that don't come with a price tag.
This one of the best tutorials I've seen. Perfectly paced. It felt concise and thorough at the same time. Well done!
Love from India ❤️
Thanks bro 👍🏻
@@pascalbasel thanks for sharing your great experience keep rocking bro iam also from india 🤠👍
Pascal, I must’ve watched 20 of your videos already and I’m amazed I hadn’t discovered this one. I appreciate how you explain even the most complex stuff in simple ways yet made time to show how to do a transition as well. Good point at the end about focusing on storytelling if your editing isn’t good enough yet. Great video!
I agree; a lot of videos I’ve made, especially for gigs, was done without planning. I learned how to be quick on my feet and with my camera and how to adapt to experiencing spontaneous events
I've been actively watching this video for well over an hour now and still have not finished it. Well done my good sir. You have loaded this video with a high density of relevant information. I have taken a lot away from this, and for that you now have one new dedicated subscriber.
Learn how I make videos like this one and support the channel with my videography courses: pascalbasel.com/courses/
Hey Pascal! I watch your channel a lot. Are you able to make a thorough video on how to edit with FCP? Appreciate it thanks!!
@@AnthonyIakona Thanks Anthony, what specific would you like to know about FCPX? There are already many tutorials on FCPX out there that cover all I can think of. So if I make a tutorial, I want to add something new if that's still possible haha.
Hi Pascal, I have learned a lot from your videos recently, working on to start my own travel channel, Thanks a lot!!
Recently, I was facing some issue with the frame rate, sometimes we shoot at higher frame rates to slow it down later but then later decide to ramp it up which leaves us with a uneven video that doesn't look good, any advice on that? How to ramp up a high FPS video?
Really thnx buddy .. it’s so helpful person like me .. new vloggers must watch this for better start.. keep doing bro ..
Bro I need a small request.. could u pleas do a video about how to colour grade all project in FCPx.. it’ will be really help full
I'm trying to learn travel video making from many months but this is a hidden gem for me i learnt most basic and important lessons form this video. Thank you for making this type of content for us.
Such a great video for beginners like me! Some things mentioned took me many trial and errors to figure out on my own. Other things made so much make sense, putting words to what I wasn’t sure of why worked/didn’t for me so far. Alas, totally new information for me to learn. Thank you for helping advance me! ❤
Ridiculously well done Pascal! Your videos are always so helpful. Thank you for your hard work!
Thanks a lot Arnis 👍🏻
Hey Pascal :) I can really see that you put a lot of Effort into this Tutorial! I'm watching most of your Tutorials and this has been the best yet imo regarding Quality of the Visuals and the Information you gave. Definitely one of the best Videos for learning how to make Travel Videos on YT, I hope many People will see this 👍🏻 Keep it going! :)
Thanks so much Andre. That's good motivation to keep it going in this direction :-)
❤️
Thanks Pascal! One thing your video made clear to me was the continual shooting point. I shot a lot of continual video last year while traveling without realizing later how much of it would be unusable because of all the movement. I've gotten much better on that.
I wish the best for you Pascal, your knowledge and storytelling are incredible. Don't stop till you see the top!!
I'm just starting out making videos but this was so much quality information plus examples as well as presented in a beautifully cinematic way! Truly inspiring! subscribing now :)
Thanks Pascal for creating and sharing! Can imagine how work intense it was to do this video. You took me on a journey behind the camera, opened my eyes and inspired me to structure my future videos more and which shots can be used.
❤️
Love the B-roll! I'm finally well enough to attempt making my first films traveling through Germany. I'm grateful for all the free lessons online! Thanks!
I'm watching till the end just to support your channel. These tips were really gold. I'm definitely going to try and implement them, especially the transition one is so cool!

Invaluable tips. I'm going to be using all of these suggestions during my next trip. Thanks so much!
It is 2022 and I am still watching your tuturials. I want to do better in my passion and what better way to learn is keep learning, watching you tuturials and applying it over and over again, who knows one day, I can do it too. I hope this year will become better for me with this. Thanks Abh! ( hard to spell your name 😂)
❤️
To be honest those tips are something worth a lot of money amazing, you got a sub from the first video man, well done
Thanks a lot Steve and welcome to the channel
I was just thinking about this last night that I need to look up some travel video styles, and CZcams algorithm boosted this to my home page today. They're listening to our thoughts MANNNNN
Congrats! You kept me glued to your video. 👍
Great tips!
Great vlog! Thanks

Thanks a lot Tarik, I hope the course was helpful :-)
@@pascalbasel It was indeed, brother! Thanks for the effort invested in it!
I am super happy that you made this video. Thank you!
Hey Pascal, super Video!
This video is great, it opened my eyes and I could also recognise all the mistakes I’ve done in the past that kept me from actually editing my footage.
I will surely implement everything I learn from you, thanks so much, great content!
Super useful! ❤️❤️ That's EXACTLY what I was looking for! I will definitely use these tips for the future 👌🔥
Awesome Marta 😊

This doesn’t just apply to travel videos going to have to try some of the cinematic shots like you did with the bike thanks for the great tutorial!
Yeah, travel videography is actually great to learn photo & video in general as it's quite broad.

P
The topics are well discussed and presented. Thank you for this!
Welcome Anne 👍🏻
Man this is the best tutorial I've ever watched on CZcams.
Thank you so much for this you actually gave advice and knowledge.
*You deserve a million Subscribers boss. ***
Thanks heaps for this, a lot of good information packed into this tutorial, going to refer back to it when needed, for horizontal movements do get some stepping/jitter in the footage, did notice a little in a couple of your shots, still experimenting with settings and movement speed to reduce this, using em1m2, cheers :)
Yeah, not all shots are perfect but a bit of shake is okay. Olympus has very good stabilization. That should be easy.
Appreciate it! It really helps!
謝謝你 非常詳細的入門教學影片, 比一些付費課程更清楚!!!
Enjoyed and learned a lot! Thank you brother!
In the future, with my wife, we have a plan to travel around the world, and make videos place by place. It would take a year and need around 20-30k euros.
However, I am going to use my Phone over DSLR. Thanks for the tips it was awesome!
5:37 Can I ask where this is? It looks similar to Phu Thap Boek but that location has just one tower. Thank you.
That’s Doi Inthanon, quite famous 😉
Very pragmatic & formative speeches about making travels videos. Thank you very much.
