I love how well detailed you are. Loved the transitions as well. Pretty neat.
Wow Pascal, came by your channel and this video, it's absolutely amazingly shot, well written and packed with value. You're a very talented educator. Thanks a lot for your work.
So well put together. Clear, practical, useful and also very enjoyable to watch. A great reference to remind ourselves that it’s these points done well that take us most of the way to great videography 👍
Thank you so much! I loved how you gave specific comparisons side by side as well. It really helped!!!!! ill be watching many more of your videos
04:29 You just made me laugh out reallyyy loud at 1.43am in a hotel... 😂
I have a lot of instructors, and you are one of them.
As a total novice with a camera I can't tell you how valuable I found this video. Not only is it full of great tips and advice, but it has helped me find the direction I want to go in terms of the type and style of video I hope to be able to make. Thanks for sharing and that's me subscribed!
Oh Pascal, I have learned so much from this video more than any other that I’ve seen. Thank you!!! ❤
Thank you for your video 🙏 As a new videographer, your attention to the important concepts in producing a video from concept development to editing. I find your tutorials very helpful and super easy to follow for beginners like me! Keep up the good work 👏 👏👏
Great educational video. I started watching it for the education part, but ended up loving the design of the mini-course & the transitions just as much. Top job!!
I wish this coming christmas that i can have a camera like you are using ...merry Christmas
Merry Christmas. If money is an issue, look into the X-S20, a6700 or FX30. All great cameras at quite affordable prices and good lens choices.
Thank you! I will try this.
Great tips Pascal. Shot step by step guide to cinematic videos. I have to admit that I need to practice more and be more intentional with shots I’m taking. Yet again thanks for the great video 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 can’t wait for some travel videos from Bali 😁☀️🏝 Take care 😃
Great video mate! Love your style and detailed insights!
Phu chi fah like a heaven . Thank i will try
wow...love your work...thanks for the lesson!
1:45 "shooting intentionally" I have a great example of this. I was a professional artist/ painter for 11 years. We painted photorealistic paintings that sold for millions of dollars and hung in some very large museums and sold to "famous" collectors. I was one of the painters who worked there. All the painters were very skilled. But we had somebody who worked on the computers who was passionate about art/painting but didn't really build up his technique or craft. He shifted away from painting, because it's very craft oriented and very difficult, and instead he spent about $30,000 on expensive camera equipment. He then went to the zoo to photograph animals with one of our painter co-workers who only had a cheaper $1,000 camera. The one with the expensive camera who didn't think like an artist just started shooting randomly. He took a thousand photos and just hoped one of them would turn out well. Yet the talented painter had way better photos. And it's not because he understood exposure or f stops or whatever. In fact, I'll guarantee the computer guy understood the f stops and shutter speeds way better than the painter. But the painter had far better images because he knew what he was going for and knew how to frame the image, knew what lighting looks good, and knew how to tell a story with an image.
Great tips Pascal. Thank you.
Pascal, this is a great channel, one of the best on youtube well done!!

Привет! Спасибо большое за этот ролик! :)))) Очень жаль, что полгода назад я его не нашёл. Еще раз повторил с тобой всё-то, что вытаскивал по крупицам из десятков других гайдов.
which one lens do you recommend for travel video?
Good video...
Can you make a video how to edit cinematic vidoes what app to use to edit on.
This is great info. Can you make one utilizing a camera from a smartphone. I know. I know. Real photographers look down on it but not all of us can afford camera gear. Thanks.
Hi Pascal I’m very interested in your course but my English is not so good, I can understand you in your CZcams vides thanks to the subtitles, are there subtitles in your course video?
Hi, i am trying to be a film maker, i bought the fujifilm xh2s, this is my first camera, also bought the mini 3 pro, my first drone with build in camera.

Great 😃
Very inspirational :). And a bit depressing, because the bar is quite high :)
👍
Ok Pascal nice video!
Now i want to see a CINEMATIC VIDEO from you 😉
Plenty on my channel
Great video! Lots of useful info. I do think you shouldn't get a cheap tripod. I don't think anyone should put their expensive gear on a potentially risky tripod. I've used cheap tripods before and I'm always scared of it falling and breaking my camera/lens. I'd recommend to save the money to get a better tripod like Manfrotto, which I use nowadays.

I'm about to begin my travel vlog. I don't have any single experience making travel Vlog. What tools should I buy as a beginner?

Which location do you shot, whats that for a temple?
I hope you answer tNice tutorials bro, I am wondering how can I add plugins from another disk drive if my main drive (where I installed soft soft)
The german akzent is strong in you, diggi 😅 🙌
This is an amazing video, thank you for sharing! I have a Fuji XT4 and XS10 and do travel videos, one thing I am still struggling a lot is with panning / tilting video shots, the OIS makes it look quite jittery but if I take off OIS sometimes I also have too much jittery movement, any recommendations?? Thank you!!
add more stabilization in the edit
@@pascalbasel thank you replying, I’ll give it a try 😃
กล้องรุ่นใหน ใช้เลนส์อะไร
Amazing colour grading. Did you shoot it on Fuji?
Thanks, mostly on Fuji but also some Sony shots in there.
One question fast to answer: for all the walking by shots you need a tripod to film yourself. Which tripod do you use? It should very light to travel around but sturdy enough to give a stable shot. What do you use?
I use the PeakDesign Travel Tripod Carbon., It's quite expensive tough. Sirui also has a similar but cheaper one that looks good but I didn't test it.
@@pascalbasel thanks for the fast response 👍
Beste Grüße 😉
😍😍
How do you feel about voiceovers for travel videos, should you do them? Or is it better to let the footage and the music tell the story alone?
Voice overs are great
