Last week we went to test one of the best electric unicycles on the market GotWay MSP and KingSong 18XL. We took this EUCs due to large travel distance and reliable construction. I will compare it wih new Inmotion V11 and KingSong S18 and we will decide if it still worth its money in 2021 for GotWay MSP and KingSong 18XL

Did you ever ride MSP or 18XL what is your thoughts ?
I've got an MSX 84v... And it's my favorite! It's a fantastic wheel. I also have a MCM5v2, ACMv2, and a Z-10.
The MSX has nice range, jumps nice (Clark pads) and does everything I want other than to go faster and further!
Just ordered the msp. Was last one there. Was the only site with the msp to buy. All other sites only had the r19.
I bought my 18 XL in March 2019 und put over 10.000 km on it. I love it, if I only had more range than around 80 km. But the only wheel what can achieve it is the sherman and it's pedals are much to low for me since I do a lot of offroad riding. Over two years after its release it is still the wheel that suits me the most. It is powerful, long range, best handle, perfectly sealed against water and dust combined with a relative small form factor. Also it is really sturdy. I did some bad things to it other wheels had shattered into pieces but the worst thing ever happend was a crack in the inner shell. There are not even dents in the rim.
100% agree, as I said it is most balanced all around will in the market right now, maybe second generation of S18 will finally beat it but for now without compatitors
Great good progress nice sound thistime! good job. For me KS16X for best universality and MSP(RS) for pure POWER.
MSP for ever
+1, MSP HT is still the best and safest wheel for serious riding, especially for offroading, but very solid on asphalt too if 50km/h cruising speed is enough for you. Comes with some shortcomings too (weight, handle, not so perfect weight balance and form factor), but which wheel doesn't have it :)
Если брать 18XL, то его нужно апгрейдить, как и Gotway, чтобы нормально ездить без сюрпризов? Или взял и поехал без всяких доработок?
Взял и поехал без доработок, но больше 50 он не поедет из-за программного блока (в отличии от Готвей)

Depend on your needs, if shorter range is ok for you then definitely you can choose suspension EUCs
@@ekolkacz I would say S18 and v11 are of average range for most users as it is not a primary mode of transportation.
Yes true, but higher capacity is also about reliability at high speeds and longer battery life, but I agree. For my personal needs it is not enough.
So far it is more of a gimmick than a useful feature.
You have so much trouble to adjust those suspensions and win you actually need to ride it - you always have some issue with it. And even if you do go out for a ride - it is super short range wheels.
Maybe in the future, with some upgrades there will be a point to have a suspension, but now - no thanks.
Range and reliability is far more important.

RS or 18XL, which would you buy?
As I said in video 18Xl is best all around EUC it means that you want to get good experience from all sides not only from speed, GotWay is focused on specifications and has a lot of mistakes in ergonomics, MSP. has one one the worth pedals, handles and pads, but it is fast and stable. Also RS has huge and expensive bearings so replacement will cost you a lot.
I decided not to go with the Kingsong 18XL. Mainly because other EUCs of similar price offers a lot more. Like the V11 and RS.
V11 has two times shorter range, 50% of EUC cost is battery

The numbers on the paper doesn't say anything actually. What is important is the user experience.
I haven't seen wheel that is overall better than KS18XL. Yes, I've seen faster wheels, even wheels with more range, but they never came close to KS18XL in overall comfort.
KS18XL - has incredible range considering the battery size, it has the best handle I've ever tried on any EUC, the device size is smaller than some 16" wheels, but it is 18", it is not too heavy, it is reliable (much more reliable than S18 or V11, or any of the Gotway), it has 4 speakers, and led lights for safety and look, it can go backwards with simply switching the tail light to bright headlight automatically.
Pointless to answer but I got myself an 18XL and as others pointed out, it's the most balanced wheel there was at the time. After years of riding it, I don't feel the need to replace it. Love the look, the speed and the range.

MSP is already outdated. The new model is named RS. The company name was changed as well it is no longer Gotway but now their name is Begode.
I think Gotway was a much cooler company name.
In Russian it is sounds stupid - I'm talking about new brand name of Gotway.
That's why the video is asking is it still wroth it. Plus the r19 has a hole in the middle and cannt handle any water with the new bearings. New is not always good. Maybe if they upgrade there cheap new bearings and abit of water proof grease. Patch up the hole so when you take the side off you can't see right thu.
I had the choice, I bought in summer '21 the MSP HS version, for longer range cruise tour it is excellent, I did not want the RS because of the hollow motor and associated bearing problems. It is interesting to notice that both the new Hero and the Commander models use exactly the same motor units, which tells a lot about the companys' confidence in this motor type.
