I agree I've got the 18XL and its the bomb....! It's basically the perfect all rounder....absolutely love it!
I got my EUC quickly after my e-bike was trashed. I needed a new way to get around without breaking the bank. I found a used KS18L with accessories for only $800. It's my third day and I'm having a blast riding around town. Although heavy, I've found this wheel very comfortable and easy to learn on.

I have the V10F and have not ridden a bigger wheel, but thinking of something bigger for my next. Hope Inmotion brings out a bigger wheel in the next year when I am ready.

Me too.. Hoping for something big for inmotion to outrun the other... I ride all 3 major brand. And I stay with inmotion... Not aggressive enough to take on the gw. Ks was great. But I love inmotion for the passion and fashion and safety balance segment of the market...
all rounded... Range upgrade for v10f?
Agree totally, just make it the KS18XL. I changed over from KS16S and never looked back. Smoother, safer, more range, silent and - somewhat illogical - easier to steer. At least for me. Also that bit more oomph for heavier riders. Nothing wrong with the 16S, the XL is just that little bit more refined.

great review, one of my favorite wheels is, against all odds, the V10F, would love to try one day the 18L, and the 16X is the wheel I have to struggle with… waiting for the new inmotion or to try for the first time a Gotway

i went with the gotway 100v because i dont want power issues got dropped off 16s at 40 % battery and i know i overpowered it. so i want the power available for safety reasons
Power you get from the number of paralell battery packs in your wheel, not from voltage! Voltage just gives you a higher speed. Just saying....

Hi. My interpretation of power is that voltage and. Amps go hand and hand when the voltage is at rating the control board is sized too. Handle the rated Power . Watt hours. In my case I have a 1200 watt the board will handle the power demand of probably 2x that for a split second that all that. Is required to. Get over the initial demand when the battery in my case was @ 40 percent in this instance. My lean demanded 100 percent of the rating. The wheel in other instances being charged to overt 80 percent handled the load In this instance the wheel quit because the amps that the system demanded oiled not pass through the control board with out burning it so the board just quit. It was totally my lack. Of attention to the details I’m a much older rider than just about everyone in this community so falling down is a serious issue for me. I had a full heavy heavy bd coat on and. The zipper on the. Arm made a imprint that clotted over through the. Coat. I had exceptional knee protection wrist protection and head gear on so I was able to ride away It was a wake up call for me to pay much closer attention to details. Happy. gime x3" tire for 18XL, a little bigger battery, Inmotion v12 display and functionality and it would be the best wheel ever

REAL Talk Jeff here - it’s just my personal top 3. GotWay’s too wheels don’t suit me ergonomically as well.

It’s rather subjective, because it’s available in your store, I own v8, v10f, 18xl( I don’t see how the 18L and not the xl! Cause the 18L is kind of a prototype, an incomplete product compered to the 18XL) I do own as well the the MSX.
Don’t let me start on Inmotion, great to start with, Definitely not “the choice”
The only slight advantage is the build quality, the other brands are far superior when it comes to agility performance ease of maintenance and so on....
kai Ryu Jeff here - we do sell most of the high end wheels from all three major brands including Gotway’s MSX in our store, but yes this is meant to be subjective. Just my personal opinion. :)
I picked the 18L because its lighter weight and I don’t need the longer range. Its not really true that it’s a prototype - they still manufacture new units and it’s been updated recently along with the XL to the new 2200W motor. It’s awesome. :)
