I'm certainly enjoying my 18xl, commuting and just going for a fun ride. It was quick and easy to learn on as my first wheel.
I just got myself one yesterday and now it’s fully-charged here next to me in my apartment. I’m getting my full-face helmet, wrist-guards, knee- and elbow-guards today and it’s “hooray……! No more bus&train commute-cost pay!!!!!”.
Awesome !! glad to hear your getting the right protection as well !! if this is your first wheel just remember:
+Take it slow
+Be prepared to drop it a few times
+Try and always look forward not down.

Thanks Scott! 😊 Nope, I’m not new to the addiction, I just delayed my purchase for a very long time after a very bad stint with Gotway and their authorised dealer out of Brooklyn. My first wheel was a Gotway MsuperV3S+.
It is a perfect overall wheel.
It's very hard to move on to the new modern wheels after 18xl, because it is so good in every aspect, that new wheels loose in comparison.
You get Sherman - and you miss the 18xl trolley handle, and it's weight.
totally agree especially about the trolley handle and anti spin button !!
I know a Scott Davies thumbnail when I see one! lol cool vid if I ever make that 24 hour flight across the pond I know where one of my first stops will be.

As stated in the video, this wheel might not be the best for offroad and pushing the limits, so I decided to do just that, If there is anyone out there who puts more work into this wheel than me it would be awesome to know 🤣
Im actually looking at getting this wheel off a buddy to learn euc.. I want to learn and this wheel looks like it would make a great first wheel.

hi ! great vid ! I´ve a ks 18xl and have the original charger 1,5 amp, can I charge at the same time with my 1,5 amp charger and a 2,5 amp charger? or is it dangerous.? I know that my wheel can charge at 5 amp but I don't know if can be different chargers. Thanks bro!
Hi Andres, thanks for the feedback! Yes you can use two different chargers (example 1.5A and 2.5A) at same time up to the max total amperage the charging circuit will support.
You can safely charge your 18xl up to 5Amp as long as you use good reliable chargers like xve that comes with "new" 18xl versions.
Get yourself two 2.5A XVE chargers and you'll be happy.

Someone can help me? I bought a second hand kingsong 18XL 2200W with 1500 km and updated the firmware to version V2.18. Now I am afraid that it is not for this unicycle and that it is not safe with this version. Can anyone tell me if it's less secure and if I should try to switch to another version. for comfort and safer ridding id 100% recommend the 18l and Xl over the Z10, The Z10 looks cooler but that's were its advantages ends

I have 16s, its light to carry upstairs, and have decent range ~50km, and as 16" wheel its nimble. If you looking for long range cruiser for sure XL would be best, but for shopping, small rides (work/school) 16s is more than enough. PS. ofc if you have v. steep hills, then XL in any case, but smaller hills 16s would go without problems

Absolutely not! It is an icon wheel, and yes it is great, but 2200 USD?! That is a crazy price.
I got mine brand 18xl for 1550$ couple years ago, now you can find a better price.
Probably you buy locally and it is overpriced there.
@@ShadKS18XL I think E-riderz in Australia (makers of this video) charge A$2500 which is equivalent to 1599 euro or US$1715. EWheels in the US is still asking US$2050. Maybe they have stock they bought before the US dollar went up so much and are reluctant to sell for less. I note GT King Store on Aliexpress is asking US$1758 so I guess there is inflation even thought the design is 4-5 years old (2017-2018?). With EV cars now taking off battery prices have stopped becoming cheaper each year. In fact I think they have increased. Also the AUD vs USD can vary +or- 20% over the year so for importers it is a bit of a crap shoot.

Yes, you can do 100 kilometers on a single charge, you can do even little more than that, but only if the weather is warm and you go below 20kmph.
