I'm now a believer in these houses. A few years ago, I'm guessing right when I started really diving into fragrances, I bought a sample of Baque from Slumberhouse. It sat in my shelves ever since as you can imagine going from Acqua di Gio and Invictus to Baque... Well, as I totally forgot about that sample the other day I stumbled across it for the first time since my nose has "matured" and WOW, just unreal! First, it turned my skin brown which I knew then this is the real deal, it smelled a bit funky but about 30 minutes later I would get wafts of it as my arms moved and I couldn't believe how good it smelled. I stuck my nose in my arm and it had transitioned into this beautiful concoction, nothing like I've tried before. For the amount I spend on 3 bottles that I hardly ever wear I could buy something like Baque, or Sherwood, and get sooo much more out of it.

Hey ramsey, my favorite fragance is antaeus by jacques polge,recent i bought a vintage bottle of Rive Gauche pour femme 1970 edt glass version splash parfums corp at the bottom,and very surpising me this first composition of jacques polge wich is my favorite parfumeur.
Is a beautifull White floral chypre,metal aldehide,neroli(clásical colognes for baby)
Classical heart combo rosa ylang ylang and jasmin with powdery orris.
The best is in the base
Real musk and santal mysor and ambergris combo for me.
Is a bright and clean perfume,very unisex
Make me feeling someting similar to antaeus but is total different scent.
For me his work on this is inspired by Arpege Lanvin,chanel n5,caleche hermes,
Rive gauche 1970 is an YSL but feel a Chanel Polsh perfume.

I have never smelled the women's vintage Rive Gauche... it's on the never ending to sniff list 🐽
This is my favorite Sherwood and one of my favorite frags ever!! I’m so in love with this. I’m glad I pulled trigger on this house when I did & bought a few back ups!! I’d have this as my signature scent if I had unlimited supplies.

Ram what I love the most is he still sells out without a website. When collectors search the world sometimes it’s good to remain underground because what works for others might not work for all. Take for instance Areej releases that are sold out in minutes just for resellers to hoard and not wear. Jordan shoes same same the more the access the less real ones who wear frags get a chance to get a hold of the goods. I don’t mind an underground artist superior artistry at underground level which Prakhar is great at making it work. Just my take on what others see as an issue people like myself love it picasso like frags. Hope all is well

I bought his last two bottles of this as backups. It is absolutely world class, and despite an increasingly impressive collection, I sincerely think if I had to choose a signature scent, it would be this.
Sadly he confirmed there will be no new batches of this.

Great review, Ramsey. This one was on my radar, but I didn't get it. Now I'm having non-buyers remorse, lol! I'm happy that I have Paradise, Czar, Gentleman, and Ambrosia. I'll have to skip Chrysos, as much as I'd like to have it. I'll be looking forward to future releases from him.
Happy you have the 4 that you have... BTW if you haven't worn Gentleman recently now that air is in the bottle wear it again... my bottle is much stronger than the first few times I wore it straight outta the bottle 💪🐏
