In my opinion the greatest hard rock song ever written.
Or is it the greatest pop song played hard, ever written.... try move the chorus and see what happens.
That must've been the loudest and the most badass living room at that point in time :D
Anyone can learn the chords, and anyone can buy Angus's exact equipment, but only a handful (if that many) have the raunchy feeling, soul, and style that ooze from every AC/DC song out there...and you definitely have it. Only one to ever play it better was Angus Young himself, Bravo.
beginner stuff lmao
Shoot to Thrill is one of my favourite AC/DC songs in that the intensity builds so subtly throughout the song until the end when it is practically orgasmic in its energy. It's fabulous.
Its a masterpiece of Rock, just epic.
And Iron Man adds the icing on the cake.
@Too Wun we salute you!!!
Amen brother!
Nice Malcolm tone.
Stavo per scrivere la stessa cosa. I was going to write the same thing.
It impressed me most I must say
I agree

Love how the bass riffs are really pronounced in this version. Not to mention these guys are killer on the guitars.
This is by far the best cover of Malcolm that I have ever seen!!! Thumbs up! Great cover! ;)
What I like about this particular video is that I can imagine that this is what Angus and Malcolm would look like alone, playing this song in unison. Two brothers, totally in sync.
It's definitely "messier", because of the condition we played it in. Loud stereo playing in the room (to give us a track of the drums, bass) and another guitar player next to me, loud. It was all loud, in a room not treated for this. Additionally, different amp (me) and so on and forth. This should account for the difference from my usual stuff (where I concentrate on recording just my guitar in a sort of "protected" environment). I like you being so attentive to my stuff Rita, thanks!
Guys just in case you're wondering when you watch this - this is Fil, I did this and I still read your comments, always - and I am very grateful. Keep in mind we have made several new videos right here which we hope you'll enjoy and MANY more to come! Also check our internet site at solodallas.com for more info, - thanks, Fil
Best Guitar Cover Performance of All Time. There has never been a more authentic recreation of any song from any band. Ever. The Best.
Sounds just like AC DC, I salute you 🤘🏻
The sound of the Gretsch/Malcolm guitar is INCREDIBLE.
YES!! I can't help but smile every time I watch your videos; excellent playing and of course: TONE, but you passion and enthusiasm are the BEST!
God Bless you for having such a single-mindedness and do much determination to seek out and actually NAIL the AYoung tone: perfecto!
Perfect!! What a sound/Tone . Spot on guys as always. Love this 👏👏👏👍
It is great to see the curled cables I had in 1965 when playing Rock n Roll, well palyed, congratulations!
You are the absolutely the WORLD'S best at replicating the Angus Young sound!! Solo you have devoted your whole life to this band! Canada loves you! Your amazing.
I love this ! It makes me feel like I'm 16 years old with 9 lives and no debt !
You got it nailed! Tone, tightness, technique, everything! Rock On!
Your reaction while playing is the best!! That was fire!!
Yes! I glad nobody was around to hear my singing!

Greetings from Scotland Fil. You are "EPIC". You just absolutely nailed it man. Musically and technologically. I can tell you're enjoying yourself just by lookin' at your face. Just ordered one of your Replica pedals. Can't wait! Love and respect for all you do.
This cover is a testament to how it's not just about hitting the notes, it's about channeling the energy and emotion of the song. Love it!
Oh yes....very nice cover of a great AC-DC kick-ass classic....very good guys.
Looks like you two are having a blast. That Schaffer sound so awesome. I really want one
Oh yeah !!!....you guys are freakin AWESOME. ...that killer tone from Angus was perfectly matched...and flawlessly performed. ...and the driving rhythm from Malcolm. ..was so rich and full...and the timing was spot on....this was Ridiculously AMAZING.
With two Marshalls and two guitars this is the greatest living room in world history.
Those Wizards sound mindblowing!
This guys know how to play! Amazing.. greetings from Argentina!
You guys nailed it!! That is the most awesome version of this song I have besides the original.... Very well done!!!
Awesome! I thought I was listening to the AC/DC boys. Great cover!
To WMG, who blocked one of SoloDallas' other covers of AC/DC on copyright grounds: Don't block these. SoloDallas exposed me to AC/DC in a way I hadn't been exposed before, and as the result I've bought a number of their albums, new. If you shut down his videos, you're shooting yourself in the foot by killing new fans' exposure. Let him be!
Them boys can PLAY!!! Magnifico!!! Fantastic!!!
Right on!! My Favorite AC/DC tune!! Well played, Man! Well Played!
Love that "Coily Cable of Doom"! That thing will stretch downstairs and outside to your car!! You guys Rock!!
wow!! That's my new instrumental track while I practice singing to this. these guys are tight
Brendan, I am glad you noticed, because it is true. This one - a 1962 original - sounds like the original Malcolm's thing.

He also covered the facial expressions. Nice :)
I’ve got a daughter and another kid on the way. They could grow up to be musicians and be bigger than the Beatles, Stones, Zeppelin, Elvis and Gaga combined... this will still be my favorite song of all time. Way to do it justice boys!
This is why I love CZcams.
🤘🤘
sounds like the live version from donington when acdc ran through the Marshall and mesa boogie cabinets, has more of a distorted sound,
it is....the drums and bass guitar track are from doniginton in '91
