When Wilhelm is 18 he is in the situation to be able to take over if needed.
what annoys me about the queen is, she never allowed Wille time to grieve for his brother but it's ok for her to abandon her duties so she can grieve, Wille is 16 years old and not once have they ever asked how he was feeling, it's always 'the crown this, the royal family that' like come on give the poor boy a break, they shoved this crown prince stuff in his face the second Erik died and they wonder why he gets angry.

YES, I think that's ultimately what's gonna cause him to break down, he hasn't had the chance to grieve, he's had to forcibly come out and has to take new responsibilities as crown prince plus come to terms with the fact that this role and position that #1 he's never wanted and that #2 he never thought would fall upon him is coming to him sooner rather than later
@patriciaramirez2982 exactly, as someone who hasn't grieved for my mum coz people expect me to be there for them, I get where Wille is coming from this season... I'm looking forward to seeing how the final episode plans out ..... I think Wille now only wants to be crown Prince to stop August getting it but I'm hoping he will give it up to be with Simon and finally be happy.
Wille seriously didn't deserve this, but I don't think the queen has time to mourn either, in fact we watched her break down this season because she had to bottle up all these emotions. I think she is trying to be a good mother considering her position, at least she signaled that she will get better in the final.

I don't know if Simon understands where this relationship is going. If he ends up with Wilhelm for life, then he's not just involved with a royal, he's part of the royal house himself. All of Wilhelm's restrictions will be his as well, so he has to decide if he's willing to live Wilhelm's life.

Not necessarily, Wilhelm is in position to change things. Harry and Megan straight up left the UK for a time, took a hard stance against the interests of the monarchy, no reason they can't do the same.
@@mythicalfelix The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are in a very different position than Wilhelm is - five people would have to die for Harry to be king. Wilhelm is the heir to the throne, there is no other direct heir. August is like the children of Princess Margaret - in line to the throne but no one ever really thought he would get that close.
Sara is a year older than Simon it was said in season two I believe that she was held back a grade or something along those lines I can’t exactly remember!
She missed a lot of school when she was being bullied at their old school, so now she and Simon are in the same grade even though she's older.
She's actually two years older!! Simon is 16, and Sara is 18

so, when rob said "why would you drive stick?" and when y'all were talking about the driving scenes etc. i'm finnish so i don't know if it's the exact same thing in sweden, but i would bet that it is close to the same system (in the nordics at least, maybe even in europe but i honestly have no idea about that (?))
so, in finland we HAVE to be able to drive stick so we can pass our driving test. after you've gotten your licence, you can drive automatic OR manual, it's up to you, because you already know how to drive a car the hard way (i think that's the logic?). so, we have to learn how to drive stick, it's not a choice haha. i'm 18 and my dad is actually teaching me how to drive right now (or he has been for a couple of months now) and having to learn how to drive stick SUCKS lmao, so i would know hah. so yeah, there's an explanation for that :)
and also in finland almost everyone in my close circle has a manual car, except maybe a few people. my brother bought a manual car, because he said he likes to drive it, whereas my mom hates to drive stick and has an automatic. that way it works here, at least.
i’m swedish and it’s true what you’re saying but you can also choose here if you wanna get a license for automatic cars where you can only drive automatic ones or you can choose to get a manual drivers license where if you get that youre allowed to drive both manual and automatic cars

Czech Republic... It's the same here. When we are doing driver's license, we are learning to drive with manual. Once we get our driver's license, we can drive both manual or automatic. I personally prefer manual because it feels like I am more in control of the car, I choose when to actually shift gear depending on a specific situation. Automat is okay and has it's advantages for sure but I really enjoy manual. There are both manual and automat cars used here but most of the people (at least those I know) use manual. I think automat is being used more in the US probably because kids there get their DL at 16, we at 18. So it seems easier for them to use automat rather than manual. :) But once you learn to use manual, it's not that hard. It's automatic "hand move" during the ride. At least for me. :)
from usa and parents made all of us kids learn on a manual. Dad said it was so we could drive any car in an emergency. I still drive stick.
Some poor communication all around this episode. Wilhelm equating working to him going to a "prince class" is not a good look. Simon, Rosh, and Ayub have summer jobs because their families need them to help with money. That didn't even occur to Wilhelm (or the other Hillerska kids who fully looked down on them). Wille also didn't talk to Simon in the beginning about his social media, and how everything Simon posts will reflect on Wilhelm and the Crown. He just danced around the issue, and let it become a problem. And, yes, it's incredibly unfair to Simon to have to do that, but it's part of dating royalty. Stella (the blonde girl) should get with Rosh- though I personally think Rosh deserves someone less elitist than Stella. It seemed like Stella's affections for her best friend, Fredrika (brown hair), weren't being noticed or reciprocated. Perhaps they will be now, now that Fredrika has seen Stella with someone else. It could make Fredrika realize she has feelings for Stella, or it could trigger some unhealthy jealousy. The even-though-I-don't-want-you-I-don't-want-anyone-else-to-have-you-and-take-you-away-from-me thing some unhealthy codependent friends do.
Poor communication is the treasure trove of scripters. Makes the story bounce, and bounce again, like a pebble you throw horizontally in water.

Sara is 18. She turned 18 in season 2. She repeated a year.
Simon and Wille are 16 (or well, Wille turns 17 this season) and are all in their first year of Gymnasiet (High school). August is 18/19 and in hos third and last year.

Who is playing Simon is Omar Rudberg. In the beginning he was the singer and the band called Floo, and now he is a solo, singer, and singing on English, Swedish and Spanish. 😊

Sara is 18 because she had to repeat a year when she was bullied at her last school. Her birthday was celebrated last season.

I spent some time in mexico, and stick is very very common there. The amount of work my uber drivers had to do, constantly shifting, was crazy. I do not understand the appeal.
