Wilhelm didn’t come out as gay. They’re careful to leave him unlabeled. We just know that Wilhelm loves Simon.
I was going to comment that one someone else's reaction video. I was like are we sure he's gay? Then EP 5 made me change my mind. He hasn't said the words "I'm gay" but throughout the season, he makes comments surrounding sexuality. Not going to say anything else
@@kertveira I’ve started rewatching E1-5 for a second time, so I’ll have to pay attention to his comments. He says that he wants to be Crown Prince and Simon’s boyfriend, not Crown Prince and gay. But I wonder if he’s still figuring out if he’s gay, bi, pan, etc.
@kertveira True. Especially after learning Erik's involvement in SMTH (it's a spoiler, I wont write here), Wille says I am not sure if he would like me to know that thing about me. They def. hinted at Wilhelm being gay
@@ozi9888 I didn't see it like that. if someone's homophobic, it won't matter to them if you identify as gay or bi or pan or whatever, it's just the fact that you're not straight. and if there's anything we kow about Wille for sure, it's that he's not straight. whether that makes him gay or not doesn't really matter
So glad y'all are still reacting to these. Wilhelm didn't say HE released the tape, he just said that he was IN the tape and had lied about it. August would never leak those things to the press. His life at Hillerska is all he has left. He'd do anything to protect the school. And Hillerska has honestly done some really messed up things. It closing might not be the worst thing ever. It'd suck for Wilhelm and Simon especially, but the school needs MAJOR reforms at the very least.
August's lawyer is his stepdad, August isn't broke his mother is, August would have to sell his assets to get $. He sold 1 painting to buy Sara the horse.
12:49 I think Simon is based somewhat on Omar in real life. He's Venezuelan and him and his mom moved from there to Sweden for a better life. So irl, Omar speaks, Spanish, Swedish and English.
I think the writer did take elements from Omar’s life to add to Simon.

August’s family is cash poor. August will need to sell some of his father’s estate/property in order to pay Simon.

A comment on the acting: it’s pretty obvious there are some major talents in Sweden. Apart from Wilmon and the Queen (Pernilla August), the actors/tresses who portray Sara, August, and a couple of the Hillerska band really stand out. I think Sara’s is the most authentic portrayal of the lot. The guy who plays Vincent has striking features. His angular traits, large ears, pointy nose, soup bowl haircut and sullen expression would make him a good fit in any Merlin/Middle Ages tv show or movie.
18:10 someone mentioned that the lights take the shape of a crown and as the episodes go on... It starts to unravel as if to say, he's going to give up the crown.
Who is playing Simon is Omar Rudberg and is a singer, he was in a band before call the Floo and now he has it’s a solo singer, and he has a amazing voice. ❤And the Simeon’s best friends who are playing both of them, are actually also in the music industry. Just a little funny fact. 🎤🎼
The band was called the FOOO. I am sure it was a typo, but maybe edit it, as not to spread misinformation? 😊

Couple quick corrections, Wille and Simon are in first year, only August and his friends are in their last year. I also don’t think Wille was saying that he leaked the video last season in this speech, he was just confirming that it was him in the leaked video. I don’t think it’s widely known that August released the video and I’m sure the settlement agreement they signed in this episode has an NDA so they can’t say it was August. The monarchy would want to protect themselves in case August ever had to take over, he’d be highly unpopular if it came out that he released the video.

I’m not sure where Rob got the idea that Wille said he had released the video. He does admit that he was the person in the video with Simon, but not that he released it. Clearly, the whole meeting at the beginning of the episode happens because Sara had reported that August was the one who took and released the video. Other than that, a very enjoyable reaction to this episode.
That whole points hunt thing seems similar to russefeiring in Norway. At the end of their final year of high school, Norwegian teenagers spend seventeen days drinking and partying all while traveling around the city in giant luxury buses, all while wearing matching outfits. This is the Norwegian graduation celebration known as russetid; the time of russ. They also earn 'points' by doing all sorts of things. lol. You guys should watch Skam, the show covers this in its backstory, following a group of 16 year olds as they progress through highschool in Oslo.
So much drama from the get go. I can understand that Felice is conflicted, she misses her friend, but hate what she did, kinda the same with Simon being angry at Sara(deep down he loves her, but right now he is just pissed). And it really didn't surprise me, that Markus talked to the press.
@Reel-Time: the man who play August’s lawyer is his step dad (season 1, the parents’ lunch at Hillerska). Being August’s stepfather, I wonder if he’s allowed to represent him.

I believe the Queen's breakdown is more than a regular panic attack. Her oldest son, the son she'd expected would be king, died violently (and young), but everything else exploded so soon afterward that she never had time to grieve. I ache for her so badly; I'm not sure I'd ever recover from torment & anguish of that magnitude. And I feel really awful that I'd barely even thought about her pain until just now.
It kinda sucks that the ending of that scene is so abrupt -- it cuts immediately to happy students and upbeat music; there isn't even a moment to reflect on her sadness.

Yeah, the writers of the show have mentioned in interviews that they are VERY purposefully keeping Willie unlabeled and have been since the first season. So yeah, I'd be surprised if they ever explicitly state it.
yeah their rules aren't really that bad, even though like they said some students are legal adults and even they can't like drink or smoke but that's totally fair to not do that at school, but I just don't think they made it clear if that 7pm curfew extends into the weekend and ofc taking their phones and only using it 1 hour a day is CRAZY

This season.. sucked so hard.
I hated the main couple, they were super toxic and overly dramatic. The only two people I empathized with were Wilhelm and Sara.
Simon drove me innnnnsane with his dramatic bs. I felt more for August than him. Like, your boyfriends brother died and his mother is a shell of a humam being and there's an enormous weight on his shoulders, and you're pissy abooouutttt??? Not being able to post on insta? Like I get it but DAMN, be supportive for once in your life.
I dont think you get that this are all teenagers, if you leave the series seeing any character as fully innocent or fully dramatic then you didn't understand anything about the show, people is real life are not perfect and have a lot more faults than goods, things are not black and white, we only about to act based on our experience, also Simon is probably the most mature character on the show lol.
