How would i connect a pioneer xprs 15 sub to my decks as well as my xlr pioneer 102's?
If you have the XPRS2 sub, you will notice there are two XLR inputs and two XLR outputs. Plug a pair of XLR cables from your mixer or controller to the XLR inputs on the subwoofer. From the subwoofer output, plug another pair of XLR cables t your main speakers. The subwoofer is designed to split the signal’s frequencies to send the low end to the subwoofer and the midrange and highs to the mains using a circuit called the crossover. Aside from the gain on each speaker, there is not much you have to dial in. This will give you optimal sound.

The OPUS-QUAD is not replacing the XDJ-XZ. The XZ will still be available as well and is a different series product.

Thank you! The record button is in the shortcut display under Mixer/Recording tab. The reason it's here is because it gives you an option to record to any of the 3 USB ports designated for storage devices.

It looks amazing! Is it possible to link a CDJ 3000 to the OPUS? I'm wondering if I can connect a CDJ 3000 to it via DJ Link? I have a CDJ 3000 already and hoping I can use it with it via DJ Link. I'm looking between buying either the XDJ-XZ or the OPUS.
The ethernet LINK port on the OPUS-QUAD is for use with rekordbox in Export Mode to be used with Link Export. It is not capable of Pro DJ Link with CDJs since it is already 4 deck capable. If you wish to use Pro DJ Link, the XDJ-XZ is recommended.

Does this controller have a "Thru" channel selector for each channel. Which completely turns off the crossfader?
The control for crossfader A, Thru, and B are on the touch display above each channel.

I see 4 USB inputs but no record button, did we lose ability to record?
Record functionality is still there. It's in the shortcut menu. The reason it's placed there is because there is an additional option to choose which of the 3 standalone USB inputs you wish to record to!

OPUS-QUAD does not feature DVS capability.

You have the option to use a computer, but the primary use of an all-in-one DJ system is use a USB drive with music. For the best experience, it’s best to export music using rekordbox DJ software so you can take advantage of analyzed files.
Is there any DAW integration for this planned? Ableton?
Just like all our all-in-one systems and DJ controllers, the OPUS-QUAD is MIDI mapable as well be used as an audio interface. You can integrate it with any DAW of your choice.

Hey Joni can the zone output play the same output as the master but be controlled by the zone volume ? cause some venues have a small system and i does bring along some additional stuff but then when i crank up their system cannot handle it so i want to know if i put them on the zone and st the zone level, will it remain as i set it or would it increase with the master level?
Yes, you can set the zone to master, and have an independent control for volume, similar to the booth output.

Are stems to be included for the Opus Quad in a future update?
While you cannot use it in standalone, you can use track separation in rekordbox with the OPUS-QUAD.
Are you able to plug in 2 cdjs (with Ethernet switch) to link for total 4 deck mixing
It does not have Pro DJ Link for linking with CDJs. 4-deck mixing is possible on the OPUS-QUAD without additional gear.
can i use native instruments maschine with this link contact ? and will be ever a Traktor support ?
The Ethernet port is only compatible with rekordbox software for Link Export.
Smart does not work for me when using REKORDBOX with Mac Book. It operates fine but Hot Cue Buttons are the same color. In the mode were I use my REKORDBOX SSD drive it works as show in video.
The Smart Cue feature exclusively works when using the OPUS-QUAD in standalone without a laptop.
It’s not necessary with DJ software because the gated hot cue, an option in rekordbox, can achieve a similar result. The color changing hot cue is not supported when using DJ software.

The Opus Quad you can play and with traktor?
The officially supported DJ software are rekordbox and Serato (coming in the Summer). While Traktor is not officially supported, users often create mappings for Pioneer DJ devices. We recommend checking their forums and user communities for information on that.
I just bought this without realizing if you could or could not add cdjs to this. Since I only saw one Ethernet connection on the back of this how would you link to cdjs simultaneously?

It does not have Pro DJ Link to connect CDJs. The Ethernet is only for Link Export with rekordbox. If you’re looking to link CDJs, the XDJ-XZ is the unit capable of connecting additional CDJs with Pro DJ Link.
Will this work with beatport stream?
Currently, Cloud Direct Play in rekordbox Is the only way to stream music to the OPUS-QUAD. But we will pass your comment along to our developers.

Yes! There is a key shift control on the touch display on the Waveform display.

The OPUS-QUAD has a stereo input for each channel that can be set to Line or Phono. This means you can plug turntables to the unit and play vinyl.

Disconnecting the usb is annoying.
The pitch fader doesn’t “lock in” at 0%
Professional gear usually does not have the "click" on the tempo slider. Instead, there is a reset button which allows you to instantly reset to 0% no matter where the slider is set to. This allows the slider to have a realistic behavior around the zero position, so the DJ does not have to work about accidental clicks into 0%.
is there a Magvel Fader in the unit?
No it does not, but it uses a high quality fader that is great for scratching.
I just got mine and its not connecting to my Serato
Serato support is announced to be released in the summer of 2023.
can you connect the sp16 to this? if so how?
Yes. You can connect the SP-16 to the OPUS-QUAD using a quarter inch to RCA cable, into channel 3 or 4.

You can use the OPUS-QUAD with DJ Software and utilize the HDMI or thunderbolt output of your laptop using DJ software to output your video.

What Is the Zone??
Zone output allows you the ability to play a separate channel of music to an independent output from the master. This way, DJs can play background music in another room, while still mixing in the main room, all from one unit.
