When technics did it on the mk3 sl’s I swapped my mk2’s out straight away. Has anyone tried mixing vinyl when the pitch is on the green light? It’s tricky!!! I much prefer smooth pitch sliders with no click/ lock in the centre

@@mervynvictor8641 you need to get your rekordbox in export mode and go into the preferences. then go to DJ system and click the device tab.. make sure the top box is checked, it refers to the Opus Quad
Hello, i hope you guy can help me? I ordered my second opus quad, because the first one had an „broken Jog wheel“. Yesterday the second one arrived and the right jog wheel feels exactly the same. The left one spins like a pro but the right jog wheel is very hard to spin around. The jog feel is on both decks on the same place. Pls send help!
I'm currently in the conflict between the Opus Quad and the S11 mixer, which sound is in practice better, I always have the feeling that the vocals are not so clean and clear with the Opus, instead only the bass dominates, although he has factually the better sound card. Deceives my perception and the sound is really overall better than the S11 ? Would be very grateful for your experience!

I’m still not sure what I wanna upgrade to… I’m using a DDJ1000 which I swopped with a 800 after only 4 weeks… still love it but either this which is kinda expensive or the FLX10… I do use VDJ… but the idea of a stand-alone and no pc is very appealing… love the look of the OQ… but hate RB. As soon as I can just analyse on the fly it will bring me closer to choosing it. The sound is meant to be amazing with the tech inside and as u said will be so future proof with software updates. Nice video mate.
Thing is when I stream a tune from Beatport it loads and is analysed within 2 /3 seconds. They always hold back features and give them at a later date.

Great review! Not having performance pads is making me hesitant! I noticed that there is no SLIP button. Does the unit have that? I read somewhere that it can be enabled SHIFT+VYNIL. Can yo confirm? Thanks mate

@@diaryofadj I agree with you! Opus is only interesting for those who want to use the four autonomous channels and don't care about its appearance. I still think the XZ is a better value for money, especially those who want to use it as a controller, it reminds me a lot of the nexus 2 kit. Success!
Yeah you can.. but the P4 has a cubby hole of an SSD that seals up so it can be permanently positioned. That would be a nice touch for the Opus Quad v2
no sampler . i feel pioneer is making a space to add samplers like djs 1000 or sampler players like xp1 and 2 to their line up to gain extra money from us
I tried to talk to pioneer about this unit 4 months before release. I knew they would keep the same small screens and not give us a proper 21 inch wide by 8 inch tall screen displaying all decks at the same time. Such a shame.
@@DJBillionatoryeah , I just use a mobile 16” screen with my controller and laptop, very compact and $100 instead of $3000 for a new Quad with tiny screen😂
@@diaryofadj Yes, but a denon user that would also use a Pioneer XDJ-XZ 2 if it could compete with the Denon Prime 4. The Opus Quad still is behind in many different ways. 4 years after the Prime 4 and for 1800$ more.

Some people find the center stopper on a pitch fader can get in the way of fine tuning near the center so they ditched it for that reset button.

Playing vinyl I don't want a click but its really handy for digital

I would say the Opus as it’s a better screen and 4 channel standalone but I think the XZ looks nicer
