to me, one of the most beautiful sights is that Rorys guitar is still being played. I'd say the idea of it becoming a museum piece would have pissed him off no end.

I think it is a replica. I can't imagine anyone playing the real guitar except rory. I think I read the guitar is on display somewhere in Ireland for a rory tribute exhibit.
Saw these guys play in Devizes Blues Club last Saturday and they were amazing. Marcel Scherpenzeel is one of the best guitarists I've ever seen live, and I've seen pretty much everyone in 40 years of going to gigs. Add Ted on drums and Gerry on bass and you have thre perfect power trio of top notch musicians. Come back soon guys...!
Two of my favorite Gallagher songs.... First there's the G-man himself, but then there is Marcel, Gerry and Ted of course! Hoping to see them soon in Verviers or even in Dundee! Thanks for sharing!

It's not Rory's guitar, but a regular American Standard sunburst strat (22 fret). Stripped in way to imitate Gallagher's one.

I think Rory is smiling down upon them. Gerry and Ted are 2 of the best in the world. so so very under rated ... except to those of us who know.

The guitar is a Fender Custom Shop Rory Gallagher Signature Stratocaster. Fender did a great job on it. Sure sounds a lot like Rory's.

Fender made a Gallagher's signature, indeed, but it isn't that one.
