I truly appreciate these videos. I ordered the Bloom pallet that has all the shades I love. Thank you for reminding me about my Milano Gilded pallets. I have a few that I did enjoy but had forgotten I had them. The Catrice eye brightener does work very well on my very fair cool toned skin. You always have great advice and save me a good amount of money which is very important to me now. ❤️❤️❤️

I'm 52, pretty much normal to combo skin...I have bought 2 other foundations since and have yet to try them, because I absolutely LOVE what the Tirtir does for me, can't stop using it! It has so much coverage, yet very lightweight with a beautiful finish. We usually wear the same shade, I got 23N...I think you would really like it!😊 Thanks for this quick review video...nice, to the point. Take care!!💛
My favorite way to wear the Cover Girl Essence foundation: combine it with Lumi glowtion. I use the CG in Light and Lumi Glotion in Medium for my light to medium skin, and it looks gorgeous and really helps the staying power. (I mix them on my hand before applying them with a brush, then I go over with a dry sponge to remove excess.) I use the NYX Bear With Me Serum concealer and all of those textures work beautifully together!
Love the pillow balm!! I have a small set from Christmas, they are the best! They almost feel mousse like, not sticky at all!

Please do powder for dry under eyes and cheeks but oily noses but also mature skin. Thank you at 47 my nose and chin and upper lip sweat like crazy from menopause. Any powder on my cheeks (or ben right next to my nose where the pores are larger) and under eye looks awful!! Also staying power for the sweat areas! All help welcome!!
I'm forty seven. Same experience. My favorite is the wet n wild bare focus clarifying pressed powder. It looks amazing on the under eyes as well as everywhere else. The translucent is white so it's good for fair skin. The light is also pigmented. It's good for light neutral skin tone. I've always had oily skin so I've tried just about every inexpensive drug store powder out there Including some of Emily's favorites like rimmel stay matte and mabelline fit me.

Aww bummed you didn’t love the catrice corrector. The thinness of it is what makes me reach for it more than my Becca one because, especially when layered with concealer, it settles less into fine lines. Also, I got the lasting finish foundation and reach for it every day. I’m not even tempted to try others that are definitely more expensive since the coverage, finish and lasting power is so great. Thanks for that recommendation!
I’ve mixed the covergirl essence with the lumi lotion in medium, or the Joah bb cream and get a little more coverage and stay from it that I was missing a bit as well. Also the revlon skin tint with it as well. I have it in a shade too light so I put some in to help that and liked the still sheer but more coverage from mixing. Or he essence powder on top

Hi Emily, I wondered if you tried the Doll10 TCE super coverage serum foundation? I got it on qvc for todays special value and it has the best coverage in a makeup I have used in a long time. It came with a double ended brush and pink loose powder. The staying power is amazing and I got her eye shadow palettes the number 2 and 3 and wow those are good too. Maybe you can do a tutorial one day on them? Thanks for all you do. You looked beautiful by the way. Rose tones are your shades. ❤ 🌹

I tried the Nyx Butter glosses over a year ago because it seemed everyone loved them. But for me, they looked nice at first but then later the gloss dried out my lips and product looked dry and crumbly. I have really been enjoying Lawless Forget the Filler glosses. Makes my lips feel hydrated and literally smooths out lip lines.
Have you tried the new Nyx butter melt bronzers or butter melt blushes? I recently got them and the formula is amazing!! ❤🎉
Hi Emily it’s funny how everything comes around and around 😂. I was 18 in 1990 and never wore a brown lip throughout the nineties (looked terrible on my ultra pale cool toned skin, grey eyes and naturally ashy blonde hair- although the nineties was where I had all the colourful hair choices eg bright pink, lavender, blue, multicoloured highlights and bright red 😂😂). It still looks terrible on me and I’m skipping it again 😂. I miss the lavender blushes and cold girl look of last year as it looked great on me. I also see blue mascara back and that too is a No from me- navy yes but bright blue NO. I was around for the eighties and wore it a lot back then, but now in my fifties I love a dark lash so much better. Best wishes x

Great video! I too was disappointed in the catrice light Rose under eye brightener. The color is perfect for my fair cool skin tone but not pigmented enough to cover my blue under eye circles. The texture is fine for me, and it doesn't crease, but I still have to use another light concealer over it. It also has some illumination to it which I'm not a fan of. I prefer a matte finish.

Im having a bit of trouble getting the cover girl essence to last in the heat and humidity in the south...Im going to experiment and try to use it as a primer with some different foundations on top and see how that goes. I do love it on its on in the winter. Its light and fresh.

Agreed on the Catrice formula. It's a shame the coverage is so sheer.
The cover girl essence is just too annoying to use for the end result. I prefer the Chanel water tint. Similar but better end result.

Emily, are you sure you don't have normal to combo skin? I'm normal to dry and I wear a super moisturizing sunscreen and I never have to "get rid of shine" in my T Zone, blot, or powder. I don't lose coverage unless its a super moisturizing foundation (I don't powder) and I'm thinking you may have an oily T Zone, just because you powder in every video and I wonder if you still need to powder later in the day, could you have combo skin.

4:32 The covergirl essence is something that I have had no interest in at all. I think it just seems pointless for what I tend to like. I want staying power that lasts all day. I have a bit of redness/discoloration that even on a sheer/light coverage day, I don’t think this will do me any favors. In addition, the “drugstore” price of this has me standoffish.
