  • Welcome to our channel, where we are thrilled to share our passion for homesteading, natural living, gardening, and herbalism with you. Our goal is to inspire and empower you to connect with nature, improve your well-being, and create a more sustainable way of living.
We invite you to join us on our journey as we explore different aspects of homesteading, gardening, and herbalism. From planting and harvesting in our garden, to raising animals, making homemade remedies, and wildcrafting, we will share our knowledge and experience with you. Our hope is that our videos will inspire you to start your own journey towards a more self-sufficient and sustainable lifestyle.
Living in zone 3 on the Canadian Prairies presents unique challenges for homesteading and herbalism. The harsh climate, dry and nutrient-poor soil, and risk of drought are just a few of the obstacles we face. However, we have found ways to adapt, using new technologies, crop genetics, and gardening techniques. We also source plants from other regions and dry and store them for future use. We are excited to share these tips and techniques with you.
We are inspired by our grandfather, who taught us the value of determination and the importance of living in harmony with nature. His love for gardening and herbalism has stayed with us throughout our lives, and we are honored to carry on his legacy.
On our channel, you will find a variety of videos, including tutorials on homesteading for beginners, organic gardening methods, permaculture, and backyard farming for food security. We also share tips on natural living, eco-friendly living hacks, and traditional skills for modern homesteaders. Our herbalism videos cover topics such as homemade remedies, herbal medicine for natural healing, and wildcrafting.
We are excited to connect with you on this journey towards a more self-sufficient and sustainable lifestyle. Thank you for joining us!

I planted chamomile last year and this year I have absolutely loads. After watching your video I have today harvested my chamomile, dehydrated it and put it in a jar. I wasn’t aware that it was good for hay fever. I have had two cups of tea today and I love that I grew it myself 😁 Thanks Cody 😊

Oooh Cody, I am definitely going to add chamomile to my list to grow! Maybe I'll try it in a container so the seeds don't proliferate everywhere. Here on the west coast, stopping things from growing too much is a big part of gardening!

As a kid, when visiting our grandparents in their beautiful sleepy Mediterranean village, going to forge for wild camomile in the fields..every where was carpeted with camomile..my grandmother would fill her basket and just dry them in the shade under her huge fig tree, no rinsing of the camomile.. ah, memories! I suggest not to rinse them as they keep lots of good stuff..and any bug or bad thing will die in the pro5of dehydrating. 👍
