Three Sisters Falls San Diego | Waterfall San Diego Hikes

- As I mentioned in the video, the Three Sisters Falls Trail could be considered the best trail in San Diego following some rain. Although this trail is still popular even when the falls are not fully flowing, it is best to visit in the years when San Diego gets some rain. I recorded this video in early January 2023 and as you can see, the falls are GLOWING and I was so happy to see them like this. I waited years to make this trail guide specifically because I wanted to showcase the falls flowing - I hope you enjoy the video.

Thanks for watching!
Thanks Bro. Great footage. Enjoyed the video. Headed there this weekend.
thanks, I appreciate it!
happy hiking!
I'm so happy you mentioned it's not worth it in the summer. I went in June 2015 and there was a trickle of water. I never wanted to go back until I saw this video.
yeah, San Diego is very dry. waterfall hikes are best timed out. I only visit these places once every 2-3 years depending on the rain. Happy hiking!
Wow!!! I have never seen 3 Sisters like that!
it is amazing right now :)
Very nice video💞💞👍🏻
Fantastic
Thanks for sharing my dear friend💝
Good job bro
Thanks :)
The actual Devil's Punchbowl is 0.5 mile upstream from the upper waterfall, an astonishing feature of Boulder Creek.
That is really great info! thanks for leaving it here in the comments.
This video came out so good! the drone footage is dreamy
thank you :)
Wow! I like the place, it’s beautiful 👍👍👍. Drone it’s ok there?
Most of the Cleveland National Forest does not have restrictions (except for state parks).
Really Beautiful area, the only thing that ruins it for me is all the people, cause with that comes trash & the destruction of the area, I know not everyone does, but there are a few, so more remote with no people is what I do, but thanks for sharing & being respectful of nature
My philosophy has always been preservation through education! and I'm very much in agreement. I tend to stay away from the hikes that are overcrowded/popular for that same reason. thank you for watching and commenting!
My nephew slipped and fell in the 2nd waterfall and drowned last Friday before Father’s Day. The authorities said it was high water flow making it very dangerous. The divers had to wait a day after they found him to retrieve him because the water flow was too powerful.
Very sorry to hear about your nephew. These places are very slippery when the water is flowing, much like it is this year. My condolences to you and your entire family.
While three sisters is amazing I liked cedar creek falls even more!!
definitely less crowded! curious to hear your experience and why you think that : )
@@BeautyisWiild with all the heavy rain , there was three waist deep creeks in freezing water that you had to cross that just added to the adventure, and the falls were flowing so powerful it was amazing
@@echols2010 that is awesome to hear. thanks for sharing!!!
So driving there I encountered the same thing but my wife chickened out in the parking because of the mountain lions signs all over the place, do you stay strapped on these hikes or just pray to god that a bear or a lion won’t eat you? Because in Michigan we have lots of bears up north that’s why I tell people don’t hike at night
There are mountain lion signs everywhere in California and down in SoCal, there are no bears - one less thing to worry about. The locals up in our San Diego mountains know some of these mountain lions and have even given them names! Overall, these trails are really heavily trafficked with rangers usually nearby... not something you need a gun for. I, at the minimum, always carry knives with me. In San Diego, there have been single-digit mountain lion attacks in the last 70 years or so. If you aren't hiking at night around San Diego, I don't think you have much to worry about. I hope that helps!
2 hikers have died here in the past month. What is the current conditions ?
I saw the recent deaths. As I cover int he video, the area on the falls is incredibly slippery. Falls still have a good amount of water but it is starting to heat up - unsure how long that will last. Please be safe hiking here.
"How to Not be a Douchebag on the Trail 101"...this could be an entire video
maybe i should make a video like this haha
its not that deep tho... you can play music if u want
