- Finally visited one of San Diegos few waterfalls. It honestly was bigger then i imagined and is sort of a three part fall thus the name of three sisters falls. Parking lot is big but on a busy day it can get packed. It is a 3.5. mile hike in and out and rated a moderate trail. The trail and falls were very clean when i went so please do your part to keep it that way. Keep and trash in your pack with you and don't graffiti the rocks or trees. Hope you enjoyed my video. It's difficult to navigate around the waterfall because of its awkward shape. Theres no real place to sit down so you just perch yourself alongside it and when it gets crowded it can be hard to find a safe place to sit. Also hiking out is sooo hard because its all uphill with no shade and it gets sooo hot. I took my beginner friends out there and we were all able to do it with plenty of breaks and smart decisions around the waterfall.

Total. Careful on the way back up because it’s very steep and gets very hot 🥵

It’s open right now and yes definitely go right now because it only gets hotter and drier as the year goes by

It is open year round but no flowing water right now. You have to go right after spring when the rain falls
