Lyonnaise potatoes: the French recipe to try right now

INGREDIENTS
For onion:
3 Onions
Vegetable oil
Water
500g of Potatoes
Salt
Water
Vegetable oil
Paprika
Cumin
Garlic powder
Parsley
METHOD
1. Cut the onions into the rings and transfer them to the pan with oil. Fry until becomes soft and then add the water. Fry until they are caramelized. Remove from heat.
2. Cut the potatoes and transfer them to the pot. Season with salt and pour the water over them. Boil for 5 minutes and then remove from the heat.
3. Add the oil to the pan and transfer the potatoes. Fry them for a few minutes and then add the salt, paprika, cumin, and garlic powder.
4. Finally add the caramelized onions and mix for a few minutes to combine all well.
5. Serve the potatoes on a serving plate and sprinkle with parsley.
