House of the Dragon episode 2, The Rogue Prince, jumps ahead six months from the end of the series premiere. Rhaenyra is no closer to taking the throne than she was when we last saw her, King Viserys is being pressured to get remarried, and Prince Daemon has taken over Dragonstone with Caraxes. As the peace in the seven kingdoms gets more and more fragile, can a resolution be found that will please everyone? Jessica Clemons and Brandon Barrick react to this episode and discuss the ever-growing threats to King Viserys' rule on the Iron Throne.

Otto didn’t keep Viserys from going to Dragonstone to keep him safe, he does it to keep the brothers from talking, because Daemon more than any other character at this point sees Otto for exactly who he is.

I don't know if this has been discussed but how long do dragons live in the GOT world? Also how long do they stay eggs? I know the eggs in GOT must have been old since other dragons had died off years before.

Viserys literally flew Balerion once, around the city and back down, and by that point all the dragon did was sleep. Fun anecdote, Baelon, father of Viserys and Daemon, once snuck into the dragon area and smacked Balerion on the face. This confuded Balerion so much that he just stared at him and let him go. The dragonkeepers had about seventy heart attacks.
It's very interesting watching them theorize without ever reading the book. It makes me feel very powerful knowing things they don't like rubbing my hands in villainous glee.

I agree actually. I think Daenerys’ dragons looked "meaner", more intimidating. The one's they showed so far don't look bad but just a bit goofy in my opinion. It's only the first two episodes though & there's still more dragons to see.

Barbarism, such is only in the history of the past. It is not a successor to the Game of Thrones, because it is the other way round chronologically linearly. But at the premiere, yes. Just another series, about the history of the Dragon of Thrones Game, because there is planning and then the game. Because the hunt for the throne will begin, the heir / ruler of the entire world of that time. The idea was that the premise consisted of dragons, it was supposed to be divided into parts as many as dragons. However, the plans of some were such that they wanted to rule without division, one throne, one ruler. And not individual territories and their rulers. And that's why it turned out that the Dragon House had internal complexes, plus external ones. In total, it turned out that everyone was up to the task in his own way, through betrayals and stalking, greed, and other barbaric otherness. And so the game about how to get the throne came out. And we have Game of Thrones, and now we have a period of cause, Game of Thrones, which is the Dragon House. And before the Dragon House, there was also the story of how the Dragon House, i.e. the Dragon Lands and Wanderers, or the Dragon Lands: Legends, was created. And that's how it was. Long long time ago.
