- We take you for a ride with Allen Hurley in his amazing street-legal 1967 Ford Fairlane. This is a 2,500-horsepower Coyote-powered Ford that can run 7s in the quarter mile at 180 mph! Allen tells us what it takes to run 7s and drive such a cool car on the street.

No replacement for displacement.
Coyote, "hold my beer"
The highest brake mean effective pressure of any non special purpose mass produced engine.
That's an enthusiastic race car driver and owner. Beautiful piece of engineering. Making Coyote owners proud - thanks Evan
Agreed! That guy has some energy, I'd be amped up too if i was at the track making hits with that beast of a Fairlane! Bad@ss!
2700hp, 305cid and 16mpg ... amazing! And it's reliable enough for the street.
Exactly! I want to see a dinosaur pushrod LS or Hemi do that! Not gonna happen with a pushrod, probably see 5mpg max...worse than a semi truck!!!🤔😂😭
@jtthedon4230 neither platform are anywhere near the brake mean effective pressure of the Coyote. At lower power levels, the extra in³s have a slight advantage, but in max hp builds, 4V Fords > everyone else
@@chadkent1241 Thats why you see the 4v fords in top fuel, funnycar, tx2k, etc. oh wait
@@dooman7404 you don't see 4v in top fuel, FC, PS due to the rules

Dam wished Ford would bring back the Fairlane with the 7.3 Godzilla. What a car that would be
Ford performance and power at it's best beautiful car 💯😎👍💪👊
2700hp and still gets 16mph😮, that is wild.
Lmao that is impressive 2700 hp and 16 miles per hour
Great video Ford powered forever baby keep on pulling the knot out of them boties and the horns off them mopars l love it
Thanks for all kind remarks and thanks for stopping by Evan, great video, we appreciate it greatly!!
We work hard to get this all steel heavy girl to go fast and have lot of good people and companies around us for many years and grateful for all those folks. Dale
Minton, Chase Driskell, TKM Performance, John Urist, Hellion Turbo, MM transmission, Homier Fabrications, Proline, Mac, Mcarty Performance. ( and my forever patient and understanding wife 😉 she’s a good one! )
Fell in love with that car first time I saw it. Such a cool car to do a build on. Freaking love it!
Well, so much for all that "no replacement for displacement" stuff...... ^Here's the 305ci replacement for displacement.
WoW! Love your ‘67 Fairlane. It’s what I didn’t know mine needed. I owned a brown w/copper color metal flake ‘67 Fairlane that I bought with a 429 4v in it. That was a fast car back in 1991/92. 20 mpg it got an I really wish I didn’t have sell it and still owned it. Loved it and miss it. Totally love your sweet ‘67. It’s a dream.
Your car is as beautiful as it is functional. Serious engineering masterpiece! Thank you for the tour. Well done!!!👍
Now that's a "true street" , blue oval, " puttin em on the trailer " bitching FORD monster right there! Wow....wow...wow. Great job by the owner and his team and you too Revan. Love to see this new Ford technology in these 60's era muscle cars, factory dash included 😂😂
That’s one wicked Ford.
My absolute favorite years of the fairlanes🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟❤️❤️
What an amazing built 1967 Fairlane. My dad purchased a new yellow 1967 Fairlane GTA with a 390. It was a fantastic car. I remember that car leaving two black tire strips for a city block. Your Coyote is beautiful with those billet valve covers. I can't imagine driving your 67 on the streets and watching Hellcats looking for a place to hide. Thanks for sharing this special Ford and to Evan for showing this nasty fast Fairlane.
BEST FORD MUSCLE CAR EVER
You can bet, ole Henry Ford has a smile on his face watching that Fairlane go down the strip. Ford power.
would like to see a 305 ci LS push rod 2 valve junk run like that😂
Not on this reality
@@chadkent1241🤣
Man that thing just rolls down the track like a Sunday drive to church, so smooth
Really enjoyed this video. Lifelong Ford guy and i have owned six mustangs, 67-2014. However I am a Fairlane/torino guy. Ive owned a k code 65 2dr sports coupe, 66 Mercury Cyclone GT, 70 Cobra Torino and a 67 Fairlane GTA with a built 428cj. Beautiful 67 in that vibrant green. I currently have a 98 Mustang GT project that I am wanting to put a 598 ci Kasse headed BBF tween the fenders. Keep those classic Fords alive and flying.
my car is a sleeper - looks pretty and sporty - many street racers got a red face when they can not out accelerate me - not always - but sure is sweet and quick - turbo kicks in early and runs all the way out . And your race car is ultimate street and saftey with all that performance = thank you for your effort !
Saw this car in Atlanta and met the owner just after he had finished it he was so nice and show us completely around the car what a class act and beautiful car
Brett Lasala has gone 6.52 @ 216 mph on a 275 with a sleeved oe Predator block, ported GT350 heads, and Coyote crank. 2506 rwhp @ 47 psi.
1,000 miles on the street.
Fords twin cams are GOATs
It actually made 2990whp now
Cool guy, beautiful car. Another top notch story by Revan.
Thanks for bringing that to us.
My best bud in high school had a 67 Fairlane. I remember us pulling the motor in a shed out back.
We were rebuilding it and used a tool to cut the cylinder ridge out so we could get the pistons out. Yes, that is worn out with a capital W.
Makes me wish I still had my '66 Ford galaxy 500 XL
Beautiful car! True FORD car and people! God Bless!
👍👍 Great vid Evan and such a wicked ride. Perfect build, coyote twin turbo, full weight car and detail to the max. Coyote punching above it's weight here. That image of this car getting down at 5:07 is perfection.
You could have made this vid twice as long... 👌👌
Yet another great vid! Have owned boatloads of 1966-67 comets & fairlanes inc 3 R comets & 2 R fairlanes plus a clone W code fairlane. Just bought a total original 56k mile ‘66 cyclone gt last weekend. Total unmolested car.
Thank you.
Love this car! What a blue oval BEAST! 👌
Always loved the '66-'67 Fairlanes, almost got one for my first car. This one is absolutely amazing, to be that fast and still retain the original look! And the engineering that went into the car is incredible!
Always loved this body style. This guy and his all his people have put together a killer car. And it ISN’T a mustang.
Not that I don’t like mustangs, I like things that are different. This car ticks all the boxes.
I feel the same way had lots of fox body's.now that I'm Married Ive gotten into like Torino's Fairlane n my car the 2011 Crown Vic police interceptor. My plans for car is a 7.3 Godzilla. I've already done Straight pipe with one chamber mufflers with a 3.73 gear cold air induction. Savin money for the motor
@@kelvinbryant7602 I had a 69 Torino GT for many years. I particularly liked it because it wasn’t what you’d see everywhere.
I traded a 67 mustang coupe for it. I had gotten the stand for only $500, yep, only two zeros behind that 5,,, lol, back in early to mid 1990’s.
The car looked great from 20 feet, but as you got closer, you could see issues with the body, which weren’t that big of a deal.
Then one day I noticed something I hadn’t picked up on before,,,, inside the trunk you could see where it had been severely crushed and realised how much bonds was in the quarters,,,,
Good lord I still can’t believe it never shook off, lol.
Congratulations Alan. The car is Awesome! Dale is the man!
Another Great One Evan!
Now that is a cool unique car...love it.
Very cool!!!!!!!!! 👍👍
Great idea running 2 batteries.
Small block Ford power what an amazing car. Thanks for sharing...
Love it!
One of the best Ford's ever. Sooo fast and consistent. Street car in the 7,s is fully sick mate.. definitely know your stuff and dad and son team rules.... Could learn a lot from you guys..✌️
What a beauty
This is a great channel-always something interesting
Thank's Bob!
Great car Thanks Evan!
😊❤ I love that 67 that is so sweet and keep up the good work with the Ford motor in that and stick with the Ford and I’m glad you did seven second quarter notes a good year. Have a good day take care.
Beautiful car absolutely gorgeous i'm more of a 65 galaxie guy same era
Beautiful build. Thanks for the great video.
Great vid Evan, keep it up bro!!
We love 66 and 67 Fairlane's
I would totally ride in the back while it made a
7 second pass.
That'd be almost as good as driving it!😏
The first muscle car that made an impression on the little kid me was a 66 Fairlane 500.
Damn fast Fairlane. Love the way he kept many things original (vinyl roof, door panels, speedometer, emblems, etc.) This is a real Fairlane, not some boring fiberglass clone. Great video, great car!
Another one of your great videos, Evan! Makes me wish i was in my 20's again, instead of 70's! For awhile i owner a '67 Fairlane, factory 427 drag car. Couldn't be licensed for the street. It had the optional lift off fiberglass hood for '67. 427 dual 4's,4 speed & 5.67 rear. I love that shade of green & black mix!
Killer car...Go Blue Oval. Another very well done video with pertinent details described by the owner. Continued success
Love that Fairlane! Beautiful car massive Horsepower!!!
An absolute work of ART! - Beautiful!!! - thx - SC -
If only my 67’ I had in my 20’s ran and looked like that. Absolute UNIT!!!!
That’s one slick ride.
It’s so damn fast wow. Insane af
That is a bad ass build Evan !
My man is trying out his ‘look at me put me on tv’ voice
Big Al!!
😊 you’re a smart man you left it with a Ford motor. That’s the way to do it bro peace God bless have a good day.
This is a cool dude to have a beer with and shoot the shit, very knowledgeable.
What an amazing piece of machinery.
Love the Fairlane; This is a wicked car!
Thanks Evan for posting this one. I was patiently waiting. Next one I hope you did at this race was the blue Cyclone in the FAST class. Keep up the good work.
Your wish will be granted, I did shoot one on the Cyclone. It's coming up in a few videos.
You guys need to look up Grant Klohn and his 67 Fairlane...Windsor small block stroked to 400 cubes no turbo single 4 barrel ..and manual 5 speed...Runs 8 second doorslammer...and wheel stands 50 metres off the line..!!! Full trimmed steel body car...
I absolutely LOVE that car! Great interview Evan!
Evan thank you so much for this terrific interview, this was awesome wow what a first class act all the way around the car and the driver, this makes me want my 1967 gta fairlane back again, thank you so much for all you bring to this sport
You're welcome Terry.
67 dbl stack 2 door a pure breed howling @ the Moon
Rev the chase was worth it, Great break dwn on Specs & piks
Thing sounded like it was not even breaking a sweat. Beast.
Oh yeah!
Now that's what I'm talking about.
I love this car!
Another beautiful junkolet killa thanks Evan from a true FORD man.❤👍
Love the 66-67 Fairlanes! one sick ride
Man back in the 80-90’s I’d ride my bike by one of these cars everyday. I’ve wanted one ever since. Such an awesome car.
That’s a beast. Great suspension, run straight down the track.
16 miles a gallon ! Im in !! Nice Car Brother !! Your boy must love it ! 👍🔥
Love the car, but why didn’t the 700” big block “work out too good?”
Wow.. What a beauty, and fast too!
This is GREAT. I am in LOVE
Always liked these 'Joe Friday' '66-'67 two door hardtop Fairlanes and Comets.
Great video! Great car! Great Enthusiasm could easily hang out with these people!
Awesome car! Nice work!
I wish I had a Fairlane like that❤❤
UNREAL !!!!!!!!!!
Ford power!
NUTS 67 ALOHA GUY'S. BIG BECK. FROM: THE BIG ISLAND OF HAWAII.
Beautiful car impressive performance. Going to subscribe
Awesome and clean !
Dammit, I got my dad's 94F150 flareside! I'm considering a big block! 😂
Awesome car, giving me some good ideas for my Destroyer Gray 66 I'm currently building!
Cool build!! 👍
😍 Bad Ass. Could you imagine how fast this could be loosing 500 plus pounds with carbon fiber body parts.
Was thinking the same thing
Or removing one of the batteries.
Love Ford
13:26 Whats up with that wagon? lol
one badass ride!
Awesome car
I had a 67 Fairlane . Sold it to a buddy who took it to Aberfoyle and rolled it . Too bad for the car 😢. Whiskey may have played a part . The not so good and "good old days". 😊
Amazing!
Well thought out
WOW!!!! Thanks….
I love that car
That's over eight horsepower per cubic. That's unheard of. You got to be pushing like 50+ of boost to make that much horsepower. Mark luton at MMR coyotes Make about that much. The cars are insane.
I think I can have somebody make it Fairlane compared to that. this Fairlane is a beast
Very cool
