- This Galaxy is powered by a modern TKM built Coyote engine! And not just a coyote out of an F150! This one is built with all the goodies and produces a lot of horsepower! It’s been running in No Time trim, but will be at Mod Nationals in a couple weeks with the clocks on. Is this one the fastest in the country? Let’s talk to Kevin Mullins and see what is going on!

So this is faster then snotrocket at 6.33. Guess we will see in 2 weeks. But this weekend may be a new record again in maryland for snotrocket.

Neither this car nor Snotrocket are close to being the “worlds fastest Coyote”. I believe that title is held by MMR (Mod Motor Racing) at 5.67 at 265 MPH. Is that car a Pro Mod? Definitely but that doesn’t disqualify it from the title. Unless of course you start applying self imposed limitations.
Oh Brent doesan't care if its a pro mod he's coming for him he better bury that time more then he has it now!

That's a badass piece, major props to them guys for building something unique even if it means some loss of performance. Also awesome to see TKM doing so well, they've really busted their humps to build up that business!

This car run 1/8 mile mostly and Mcflurry isn't gonna run with it in that race. When he said someone ran a 4 16 and Kevin said he hope they run faster that's what he's talking about. Mcflurry isn't gonna run that fast to the 1/8. I've seen this car run in person so don't let that 60ft fool you cause she is mean after that launch

Difference between the Snotrocket, Cleetus, and Kevin is Kevin runs ¹/𝟾 Mile the other guys run ¹/⁴
The snot rocket is the guys only car so it’s always evolving not like Cletus who has so many cars one is never perfect. At that level you have to stay on top of the tune up and all of it.
Freakin' love this car. Beotchin' John! Looking at this rocket boat eat the track up reminds me of being at the Air Show at the CNE and the Avro Vulcan Bomber get put through a couple of slow runs passed us then it tipping it's nose straight up and just launching and disappearing.... didn't look like it could do somethings that it did.... love it. Good for you putting this one out like the old thunderbolt's with the 427 CAM ers used to do. Awesome!

Lets agree that any engine requires a cylinder head removal for a lifter replacement, is just a sub par engine design. I'll start... LS= fucked. LT= fucked. Godzilla= Fucked. SBC/BBC= Greatness, SBF, BBF(385) amongst the best designed. Arguably the best. and so on!

I’ve always liked Chevys but these coyotes are absolutely insane! I’d love to put one in a fox with twins and very well may do it. I saw what they charge for a short block but I’m wondering what a tricked out long block would cost?

got to love the coyote motors even from a stock platform a quick and easy 1000 hp with a 10 speed-tricked out transmission available almost sounds like autofiction porn for the gearhead
That ten speed doesn’t like much more than 800 wheel, until it starts breaking. 6r80 a much better trans for drag racing. 10r80 fun on the street for sure.
John SBC question. How much power would you say a 350 main shp block could handle in a turbo application. I have folks telling me 800 but I can't believe this block is weaker than a factory ls block

That thing is pretty quick. Looks awesome too. Has the potential to be the fastest. But I noticed y’all were saying 1/8th mile times. Brett’s car is a 1/4 mile car, and is running a cast block. With a stock crankshaft. We’ll see at mod nats. Can’t claim fastest without a time slip IMO

Brett has a sleeved ffre predator block with voodoo cylinder heads not quite the same .. still stock crank in both

Alot of these top dog drag racers only test 1/8 mile. When these boys go to Bradenton, we will see some unbelievable times and mph.

You should do a no prep car with similar body style . The trunk is so far back from rear axle you probably need half the weight in back of trunk you need in mustang .

Does MMR hold the stock block record or do they run a billet coyote? I just now am getting interested in these engines. I’m blown away by what they’re doing with them

Hilarious!! This car runs a lot of N/T events for the 1/8. Most races done between NC, SC, GA are 1/8 and the BIG n/t races are packed with some BIG BEARS that come out. I don't think they care about the 1/4 mile time (hint 4.16) is the 1/8 time he was talking about that it better be faster
