Seeing this little pupper and his cleft lip reminded me of my dog. He also has a cleft lip and was the only Pomeranian that no body wanted. I took him in and he spent his last 15 years with us. He passed this January 24th 2020. Miss my little buddy when he would sleep next to me and wake me up in the morning when he has to potty. Damn im getting teary.

It's hard man. When I was 17 my mom surprised me with a puppy for Christmas. When she was looking for one, he was the most timid/shy puppy she saw and it reminded her of me so she picked him. I had him for 12 years and he made me so happy. We were best friends and always together, we really understood each other. Of course, nothing lasts forever and he died back in 2012 and I still think about him every day. It's rough man, hang in there though, it does get easier, but never fully goes away.
So sorry for your loss. I lost my Pom Snowflake of 16 years last month. She died in my lap from a seizure. I'm still trying to get past it. It doesn't seem to be working though. Take care. đ

I see nothing wrong with the puppy I would accept him for who he is and not abbandon him because of his cleft lip he's perfect no matter what
Breeders are very fussy. They chuck a dog out if it's not perfect and cant sell it. That little dog has gone to a fantastic home, made my day.

they didn't know how, or have time to tube feed most likely. Personally I'd have to do the same because, if I can't take care of him, I'd want somebody else to. not to let him starve to death. It's still a bit cruel, but you want him to have a better life than you can give it. Like with adoption. If you can't take care of your kid, you give them to someone who can

He was surrendered not abandoned. They brought him where he could be cared for right away. First day. Pretty sure it is just the nursing phase. Unless he can't swallow properly, but they didn't say.

He should come to Tucson. That is all there are here for rescues: Pit Bulls, Pit bull "mixxes" that are 90% pit bull, and and occasional Chi. People are such lemmings and all buy the same breed.
I want to rescue a dog, but I don't want a pit bull. No such luck.
He's a WHAT now? Are we talking about the same guy that leaves ill dogs in an RV outside of his rescue? In the dead of winter? With space heaters?
He only adopted this dog to promote his next money scheme. He's asking breeders to surrender their unwanted/disfigured dogs to him- for a fee. He saw $$$opportunity$$$ with this pup. The poor things face is already all over several posters and fliers.

Iâve been waiting to see an animal with the same condition as me. I was also born with a cleft lip and I love animals to death, although never thought Iâve ever see an animal with a cleft lip. I wish I could meet that dog in person, though. Me and that dog would make great friends.

I recognize the man in this video who adopted the little puppy he has a animal rescue shelter in New York and he specializes in rescuing pitbulls. That man is amazing and his shelter/recuse is awesome

5 years ago, my dog was barely days old when he and his siblings were put in a cardboard box and thrown in to the street. Literally. We found him, he was clearly the runt because of how small he was compared to his siblings. We kept him, quite obviously, and named him Gizmo. He was the only one of his siblings to have a pink nose, and me being 10 and always loving the color pink might have been the reason. He's 5 now, and I'm 15.

I get where you're coming from, but telling people on the internet what to do might get you hate. I would suggest rephrasing it as a plea, that way it negates the danger entirely.
Don't buy from breeders. Playing god to get the most perfect puppy so they can sell them and make the most profit. And abandoning the deformed ones. Makes me sad and so damn angry.... đĄđĄđĄđĄđĄ
Patrick I get what your saying and yes, the existing puppies would be in a bad situation, but future ones wouldn't come into existence. Perhaps the current pets would be sent to adoption, and then someone could rescue them for free?

It doesn't work like that. All dogs, if raised properly can become your friends and helpmeets. But breeds usually come with a set of standards, concerning both behaviour and body attributes. Especially those raised for a specific work (search and rescue, hunting, teraphy, seeing-eye dog) you cannot afford not to know what your dog will turn out to be like in the future, that is why many people will turn to breeders of a specific type. (Also, there is a difference between breeders and puppy-mills.) Adoption of mixed breeds, already grown dogs is noble and to be respected - but other people have different images and goals in mind. And people have to respect that as well.
He is just the cutest little guy, how could you not look at him and love him, WTF is wrong with people. You are doing a wonderful thing.

He was adopted by Craig from New York Bully Crew. Just realized it was him. Great rescue as well. When I see these videos, I always make a small wish that the adopters take good care of the animal, that they don't let them down. I am confident the pup will have a great life.

This is wonderful!!!! As a family that has an English bulldog who brings the greatest joy in our life, every time I see these poor Lil girls n boys with disabilities and the kind souls that foster them and then those that adopt them.....it brings tears to my eyes every single time!!!! Although our Dozer boy is perfect I find in my heart that these ânot perfectâ bullyâs are even more so!!!!
