9" Ford - The Complete Rear End: A Dimension - Hub Diameter - CAUTION: Match the NEW disc or drum!

In this video, ‪@redbirdspeed5063‬ covers the hub on the end of the axle shaft. This is the pilot where the drum or disc will locate on the axle shaft. This is important because the braking system needs to locate off of either the studs or the hub. Use a set of dial calipers! This dimension can vary from stock to aftermarket ranging from 2.430", 2.771", 2.780", 2.800", 3.060".
