A PS3 with custom firmware is probably one of the best consoles that someone can own. It can play most PSX games, most PS2 games, and all PS3 games. So glad I modded mine.

and i think a modded ps3 could play more than playstation games as well... yet i don't generally mess with that since there is a risk of bricking the system so i stay scared on that
