Esther made a very good point which was not addressed. She said "what is the ideal conviction rate?". Because as soon as you assign a number (3.1%) the argument of low conviction rate falls apart. If 2.5 percent of cases where legitimate and 97.5 (0.6/3.1) percent were false accusations, you're now imprisoning innocent men to reach some quota. If 10 percent of cases where legitimate, now sex offenders get away with their crimes. This is why using the argument of low conviction rate is incorrect. There is an assumption that every accuser (or most of them) were truthful.

100 women come up. Time span 30 years. So that would mean about 3 women per year, one in every 4 month.
Considering he is wealthy AF, there are probably 5 gold diggers per day try to get a piece. Getting sex, for him is like getting pizza, why would he rob pizzeria, when he gets pizza for free.
More logical would be to think most of those women are greedy and want to leech some more $ out of him, b/c they spent all they got or they fail the career oportunity or they just hate themselves for having sex with that man. But all that does not mean he never did it to at least one of those girls.
About conviction rate being low, that's is the only thing keeping women going nuts with false accusations. Maybe you not happy when 6/1000 got convicted, but what if most of those 1000 were actually false claims to punish, leech some money, revenge or coutless other reasons women do that for. We all know there is very high rate of false accusations. Besides only ones to blame for low conviction rate are the women that got cought with false claims. Keep it up and you can forget any rape case ever be in favor of victim. When women flood court with false claims, at some point no body takes any of those seriously. It's like, when you call police every day for a crimes that are never there, one day police stop showing up. That same day the crime might actually happen and there is noone to protect you, then you have to blame yourself.

He walks fine and manages to walk up the curb, then slows down pretending to be frail..And seems very suspicious that he pick up the walking frame with no problem,,when if ur frail you should be pushing it as it has wheels at the front..And this lawyer, she is paid handsomely as she has qualms about dissing so many victims of sexual assault...She is not concerned about that its so many many women not just a couple but many, this should be alarming to her, to say the least. I just hope nothing like this happens to her, but if it did would she be preaching the same views??

Ben Chew and Camille Vasquez made the conscious decision to have Camille cross-examine Amber to avoid any accusations of misogyny even though the questions were based on evidence, but that didn't stop the feminists and the media from labelling Camille as a bully and a gender traitor who just wanted to sleep with Johnny.

Now, harvey is undoubebtly a creep, he absolutely traded sex for hollywood jobs. But that isnt illegal, The key here is, did he genuinely rape someone? its so easy to solve this issue of sexual offences accusations, weather they are true or false or wether the accused is guilty or not - ( in cases where their is no evidence or would not be evidence such as historic cases and only in these cases what should happen is the country where the accusations are made should have the best lie detector machines and tests, government approved and if the person making the accusation fails and fails miserably their case should be deemed insufficent evidence to take to trial and also if the accused passes the test which should be government approved but if it comes back that the accuser s telling the truth by a mile and the accused is lying by a mile then that particular case should be put in front of a special jury consisting of 12 independent judges who are specialists in these cases. and the issue would be solved.

I’m not a fan of Weinstein’s lawyer. I have had friends that have been R’d One was by two strangers, she was dragged off the street in Liverpool back in 1980 by 2 young men in broad daylight at around 2pm near the train station. Blindfolded and gagged. They took her to their apartment in Cabramatta and rang up two more of their friends to come over. She was very clever and even though we didn’t have DNA back then, she spat her blood on the carpet.
They didn’t blindfold her when they took her to Cabramatta train station and gave her $2 so she could get home. She rang the police and took them straight back there. They all got 12 years in Long Bay which would’ve been very tough for not only their crime on a 14yr old child but they were refugees from Vietnam.
My other friend was SA’d by a family member as a young teen and never told any of us until later in life when she was out of the situation. She had turned to addictions of sorts, until she finally went to the Police and told them what happened. He was charged and at a Magistrate only trial was found guilty. He didn’t get jail time, only probation but he did have to register as a sex offender for the remainder of his Rock spider life!
There are others sadly but they all react differently. We all want them to go to the police straight away to stop the predators and for them to get justice. One of my other friends, who was drugged while we were being typical naughty teens and drinking at a party at age 14yrs, was kidnapped and SA’d. The people responsible dumped her back at a relatives front lawn in the early hours of the morning. Her parents, protecting her, didn’t follow up even though I’d realised who had taken her. The police had got to the house and missed finding her there by minutes. They’d already dropped her off.
Please don’t judge women for not reporting R’s or SA’s straight away. You’re not in their shoes and the turmoil of emotions they go through is unimaginable. ❤️
