I’m two months late since this interview filmed. I have met both Hef and Crystal at the Playboy Mansion. Having been there 4 times and the last time I saw them was back in 2012, Hef was surrounded by security guards. He was very physically frail and couldn’t really walk well and he didn’t want to be around people. He only came out to blow cake candles to celebrate his birthday and Crystal was sitting next to him in gleefulness. They didn’t stay very long and went straight back inside the Mansion. Since the last few years, we follow each other on instagram. I notice Crystal still had images of her and Hef, her wedding photos, and has occasionally memorialized him posting comments reminiscing her fond memories about Hef and how much he has taught her blah blah. Seeing this interview just now has me taken aback by what she has revealed on Piers Morgan show. I’m honestly surprised and beyond baffled. With that being said, people should not take her seriously at all. Her testimony is inconsistent with what she posted on her Instagram versus what she’s saying in this interview.
I think there are some truth in some statements. But then again, there’s a bunch of bull on her part. She is no better than any of the Playmates that were involved with him. She had years and opportunities to leave that life. They broke up once and that should have been her cue to walk away for good. The other Playmates that lived in the Mansion were able to leave returning to their normal lives, married other people and started families of their own. I’m sorry but Crystal is not 💯 transparent. I’ll leave it at that.

Are we really helping women with things like the Me Too movement? From what I see, what it did primarily was to take women from a place of personal power and acceptance, into a place where they feel weak and vulnerable. It reshaped the events in their life from choices they made, to actions they were forced into. Coming from a place myself of childhood sexual abuse, I never felt broken or abused until people found out and started telling me how broken I should feel. I went from a place where I felt confident about who I was, to questioning myself and wondering if there was something actually wrong with me because what happened didn’t break me near as bad as the judgement people laid on me because of it. I personally think that all people go through things and if you became stronger from it, it is not beneficial to break you down because of what society says you should feel. If a woman needs help, she should certainly seek it. But if you survived and became a stronger person, don’t let your strength be diminished by the judgement of other people.

@@mariac73 you have to be kidding, she chose her life back from day one. She said she went from apartment to apartment, facts are didn’t want to get a real job. … she one of the easy life, you know that first time letting an 87-year-old man sleep with you what it’s about. Why does she get a pass? I’m not saying Hess was a great guy, but everyone knew what he was about. No one controlled her, obviously there is some control. If you stay in his world, you want that lifestyle you’re gonna have to treat some things. How she sits back and write a book and it’s considered a best seller is laughable to give her the credit

What she means is he made efforts to control her financially. But she had to be secretive about it. It’s been said that he didn’t want any of his girlfriends to work jobs. He wanted them to rely on him for money. Thats a sign of someone being financial abusive.

These negative comments really bother me. None of us were there. Yes seeing the glitz and the glam who the hell wouldn't want that. But then when she had to do what she had to stockholm syndrome kicks in you get used to it.
Every single girl that has lived in that lifestyle has pretty much talked about the same thing happening to them. Shes not in a sense bashing him. Shes talking about her pwn story. What she dealt with. I think after the Movement she started to feel comfortable to talk about her story. Remember she married him because i think that was her only way of survival. You ppl have no idea. So many ppl idealized him i didnt think that Hef was like this. I loved girls next door and yes sleeping with an old man is 🤢 but at the same time it was pertrayed by him as like a family.
Yet back in the 80s women tried so hard to talk about what they went through and yet they were silenced. Listen everyone has their own opinions but for me i believe her and the other girls. Like Kendra said even though it has been revealed shes not even ready to tell her story.
You can hear it in her voice shes so nervous. I wish her the best and happy she came forward.

I watched this video and didn't comment but, it came up again and I feel like I must comment. I actually have worked with a company that was contracted to do graphics for playboy. I have met Hef on two occasions. This was at the time he had the 7 girlfriends. He was a kind and generous man. Holly and Bridgette were in the group of 7. They all seemed very happy. They were all laughing and talking. We had a few nice dinners. I think it's strange that her and the other lady are bashing him. Kendra and Bridgette both had great experiences. This woman decided to marry him and she was an adult. Why didn't she just stay away after she left the first time.

Well done!!!! The second Crystal commented on parents buying Playboy bedding sets for their children, I was aghast!!! Anyone who would even contemplate buying Playboy bedding for their minor daughter is 1,000,000% sending the wrong message. I seriously can't believe that any young girl would actually want that, let alone know what Playboy even is. The age of the girl she mentioned was eleven!!! Why are we allowing our daughters to be sexually groomed from such an early age and to believe that their ultimate value is only sexual in nature??? This is child abuse plain and simple and it truly breaks my heart.

She's been trash talking Holly and Bridget for years. Now that her book is out... She was warned and made aware, and mocked the women who did so. So many women think that they're somewhat extra special, in the way that even if they hear/know about a man being abusive, they make fun of and look down on the abusers previous partner(s).

She knew exact what she was doing.
She wanted to be rich and famous.
Having sex with Hefner, for all the girls, was always going to be something they would have to be willing to do.
She knew that he wasn’t going to be faithful, that was always going to be part of the deal.
She didn’t want to have to sign a prenup but ultimately decided that if she wanted her piece of Hefner’s pie, she had to sign one and stay married to him until he died.
Seems to me that she has run out of what she got out of the prenup so now she is trying to write a book to make more money.
