Besides, Zinchenko did not play for over a month and we still won loads of games and he is neither our top defender, top scorer or top assist provider. So to say he is one of our best players because he came from Man City is just lazy commentary.

Man's just talking bc he has a mouth. Zinchenko was out for a few games yet we won. Jesus isn't scoring yet we're winning. We've a few players one card away from suspension yet we're still winning. We've had a few games where refereeing decisions have been poor yet we're still winning. Poor performances yet still winning. City have dropped points and the potential to drop more is there bc of the WC so they can go ahead and underestimate us. Late December and January will be critical but that doesn't mean it's a must we falter and even if we do other teams, including City, will do as well.
Arsenal played 13 games...won 11, drew 1 n only lost 1 game..34 points...this is one of e best Arsenal team since that 2004 that invincible team that went unbeaten that whole season with Thierry Henry!!! Think Man City will have fierce fight against Arsenal in this title race!!!

Jesus has been the best player so far…. A lot of people keep calling saliba as the best center back. But Gabriel is a beast to me. Scoring, defending, long balls and the communication even with language barriers. He’s the rock for me. I don’t think saliba would be all that without Gabriel.

What's getting lost amidst all the hype of whether or not we can do it is season, is the the fact this team is being built for the future. This team is clearly ahead of the curve of where they, us fans and others expected them to be. Edu and Arteta are building this young team to compete for at least the next 5 years, so that we'll consistently be there or thereabouts if we can keep the core of the squad together and refresh it regularly as Fergie did in United's dominant years. yeah the core question is whether keeping momentum is the most important thing. Because the biggest weakness in this side, by some distance, is how thin they are at key positions and how difficult it is to imagine them keeping this level if someone like Partey, Saka, or Jesus gets hurt. I like a lot of the rotation pieces they have like Nketiah and Elneny but there just arent enough of them. We are massively fortunate that the biggest injury worries we've faced were to Zinchenko and Smith-Rowe. Tierney is probably the best second choice left back on Earth and Smith-Rowe (Who I love to death and is an amazing bench option) was firmly behind Odegaard/Martinelli on the team sheet. I don't trust Sambi at all and while Viera has looked nice but we still need more. Tielemans in January would be my dream signing because he obviously would make the team better/deeper and because waiting till summer hoping to get him free is too risky. He wants to come, go and get him

If Partey can stay fit for the 25 remaining PL games, we can challenge City till the last game weeks and probably win it. We have a solid defense line and lethal versatile wingers. Mikel playing a CB at RB(White) and a RB at LB(Tomiyasu) who is also an option at CB is a tactic to keep us going for the lengthy season incase any defender gets injured. Remember it's a good defense that win you cups. We just need one or two magical moment by our fowards in every game and the game is done and dusted. That's how Leicester did it

As a Gooner, I'm obviously proper chuffed with our progress this year and I'm hearing a lot of "can they, will they, go all the way?" noise around our club. It's nice to hear decent, proper pundits talk positively about The Arsenal, it really is, however.......... I have an enormous amount of respect for Man City, their players, their coaching staff and of course, their World class Manager because of what they've done in the last few years. I'm totally realistic about our chances of the title and I honestly think that City will win the Premier League this season, they have all the tools to win yet another title..... which we don't have yet.
For me, personally...... I'd be happy with top 3 but anything above that is a massive bonus.

The workrate Ødegard delivers in every game is pivotal for this Arsenal side. It is so underestimated by the pundits and experts, but Arteta sees the importance of it. And he should have had double the assists with better finishing from Jesus etc.

Zinchenko had been injured since the Spurs match(1st October) and we've won every match since then bar one which we drew (Southampton). Jesus hasnt scored in 9 matches now. I agree that both Jesus and Zinny have definitely taken our game to a higher level no doubt but our two best players of the bunch (who are pretty much irreplaceable) are Partey and Saka. Don't mind Sherwood with his under-handed compliment 😒

It is not impossible Arsenal to win the league but at least we’ll play champions league nxt season. If we stay on top of the league untill january and sign very top players then we can definately challenge with city. With our current squad depth, we can’t challenge with City.

There aren't that many choices right now for 'title contenders' Most of the big guns have fallen by the side; Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs, United. Ferguson said, you can't lose more than 5 games in order to win the title. The season is only a third gone and these teams have already lost 4. Nobody can see Newcastle winning it. Not with City being the yardstick. The only team that can give City a run is Arsenal at the moment. If not Arsenal, then the EPL is going to turn into the Bundesliga where you know Bayern can start gift wrapping their title by Christmas.
5:55 if we can keep a healthy squad and maybe add to it in January for depth, then our final position should be 1st just like the other teams on that list.

I’m an Arsenal fan who doesn’t particularly like Aube, but the appraisal of him in this game is wrong: he got into position to score at least twice in the first half and the pass from Havertz was poor. If he’d have tucked those away, there would be no narrative about his lack of touches
