RAITEI means Thunder Emperor. And the 2 guitarists, Hazuki and Saki are, in my opinion, the only 2 who can compete with Midori and Miyako from Lovebites. And that's saying something!
I'd argue (as a pro guitarist, fwiw) that "best" is way too subjective, and it's hard to assess these players' technical chops just from what ends up being released. But it's a DEEP well of guitar talent in that scene: Miyako Watanabe (Lovebites), Akane Hirose (Band-Maid), Mitsuru (ex-Briderar, Madaseka), HAL-CA (Asterism), Lisa-X, CloudBerry (ex-SheGlapes), Illumina and Ika-chan (Ark Royal), Mayto (Hagane), Narumi (Lonesome Blue), and the list goes on!

Their drummer Tamu is uber talented. Even though she looks 19 she's actually in her early 30's and very accomplished at her age. She's one of the most sought after session musician in Tokyo. She does session work for Jazz, Prog, Pop, Metal, petty much anything that needs a rhythm section. Thank you for your reaction to NEMOPHILA. NEMOPHILA is a band formed in 2019 by top level experienced members in Japan, shortly before the pandemic caused by COVID-19. Her basis is heavy metal, but they are. They incorporate various genres that are unmatched by other heavy metal bands. They will never betray you! I hope to see more of NEMOPHILA in the future! This song "RAITEI" is used by the American car brand "Acura" and is very cool. czcams.com/video/G00papvQu7o/video.html
Thanks for the link. The video reminded me of Fast and Furious - Tokyo. Acura is the well known luxury brand of Honda over here. Similarly, Lexus would be Toyota’s luxury brand. I’ve owned many Honda’s and need to move up to Acura.
Las mejores sucesoras de SHOW-YA, 1banda femenina de heavy metal japonés y madrinas entre otras de Nemophila, Mary's Blood, Gacharic Spin, Scandal, etc(Fairy, Look at Me, Genkai Lovers, One Way Heart, Gambling, Kurenai, Battle Express, Shooting Star, JAM, Emotion, etc)
Everyone always says Neemo-fila, it’s actually pronounced Neh-moe-fila! Anyways thank you for reacting to Nemophila! Funny, if you google translate it says, Neh-Ma-filla! 😂
Nice reaction! Hazuki's guitar is ESP 7strings guitar(She is now the guitarist under ibanez) , Saki's guitar is Killer KG-Fascinator Seven the Empress 7 strings guitar (Saki Signature model) I recommend《adabana》as the next!🤘🏻🌸🤘🏻
Saludos 👍
Lovebites is my favorite band. But there are many more in Japan. You should know that most fans of Japanese women's bands stand in solidarity with each other. About 50% of the Wolfpack also like Band Maid, about 70% also love Nemophila with the two super guitarists Hazuki and Saki. The Japanese bands Aldious, Mary's Blood, Fate Gear, Bridear, Asterism, Unlucky Morpheus also find a lot of sympathy among Lovebites fans. The Japanese take music very seriously. They’ve been amazing for decades but it’s been mostly internal. Japan is actually the 2nd largest music market in the world.
Saki's Marshall rig is unique. She said in an interview in YoungGuitar magazine that she found it at an "event", liked it and bought it. I'm not sure what "event" translates from exactly, maybe something similar to NAMM. The stack itself isn't that important for sound since she uses a Fractal Audio Axe for tones. Her guitar is a 7 string model by Killer Guitars. Its a Japanese custom shop co-founded by Akira Takasaki who is part of OG J-Metal band Loudness.
Other Japanese female bands ? Aldious - Dominator (Radiant A - Live at the O-East) / Hanabie - We love sweets/Neat Game / Fate Gear - Headless Goddes/Mega bullests/Live in blood. / Bridear - Brave New world revisited. / Mary's Blood - Marionette. / Hagane - Super villan.
It's nothing new, in Japan there have been dozens of girl bands for more than 20 years. What is new is that in the last 6 or 7 years, they are having more visibility in the West, especially in the last 3 years, and most of them are very good. I also recommend the bands BRIDEAR and CYNTIA.
I once had legit narcolepsy from a pain medication (in case ppl don't know, I have a spinal injury and live w chronic pain). It was *crazy*... I had to have a minder bc I'd fall deeply asleep just eating toast, or at the supermarket...just, down I'd go! Clearly, not the drug for me! Well, mushi mushi y'all! I cannot get on rhe Japanese female band thing. It's not that they suck or anything like that... I feel like they're all too similar and they just don't impress me. My time is limited these days...unless something is totally amazing... Metal has been HUGE in Japan since the 80s! Some of the best live shows are played there.
@@SueSueandthewolfman Idk if that's such a good thing tho...I feel like I've lived multiple lifetimes...I hope I don't expire too young bc I've worn out all of my adventure! Yes...real narcolepsy! I dealt w it long enough to give that medication a chance then called it a failed experiment! I'd be talking...then, out! One thing about having packed in so much life experience, is that I'm far more empathetic and willing to help others (wanting nothing in return) bc I've witnessed so much of ppl genuinely needing help but loathe to ask...and worst-case outcomes...

Sokoninaru are amazing.
@@powbobs Agreed!
Bridear is another band of females
Thanks for the link. The video reminded me of Fast and Furious - Tokyo. Acura is the well known luxury brand of Honda over here. Similarly, Lexus would be Toyota’s luxury brand. I’ve owned many Honda’s and need to move up to Acura.
@@michelm.6033 Nemophila and Acura(NSX) are the best!
Las mejores sucesoras de SHOW-YA, 1banda femenina de heavy metal japonés y madrinas entre otras de Nemophila, Mary's Blood, Gacharic Spin, Scandal, etc(Fairy, Look at Me, Genkai Lovers, One Way Heart, Gambling, Kurenai, Battle Express, Shooting Star, JAM, Emotion, etc)
Raitei = Thunder
Everyone always says Neemo-fila, it’s actually pronounced Neh-moe-fila! Anyways thank you for reacting to Nemophila! Funny, if you google translate it says, Neh-Ma-filla! 😂
Best band right now.. imo ⚡️🤟🏻⚡️
You guys need to check out Wagakki Band. They are very good, they mix metal with Japanese Traditional. Have male and female members.
Another one would be "Face the Fear" by Lonesome Blue.
Nice reaction! Hazuki's guitar is ESP 7strings guitar(She is now the guitarist under ibanez) , Saki's guitar is Killer KG-Fascinator Seven the Empress 7 strings guitar (Saki Signature model)
I recommend《adabana》as the next!🤘🏻🌸🤘🏻
Saludos 👍
Nemophila is a name of a flower found in North West of the United States.
And there are vast fields of it in Japan.
Nemophila brings the Raitel ! (Thunder)
I love this band!!! They all are so talented!!! Both their covers or originals are amazing!!! Next song try Adabana please! 👍🏻👍🏻
When you have heard all the following you will not be the same person (musically) as before, here are a few links:

nice react ! i would suggest you guys to check ADABANA from them, amazing song, vocals and musicianship
🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
They do a cover of iron maidens aces high and it's amazing check out that video
The Japanese take music very seriously.
They’ve been amazing for decades but it’s been mostly internal.
Japan is actually the 2nd largest music market in the world.
Guys, check also HANABIE, songs We Love Sweets, NEET GAME...

If you’re in Arkansa and want a short drive, Nemophila is playing Dallas end of March.
Nemophila...a 5 petal blue flower, also called baby blue eyes.
I recommend to you
AC/DC / Whole Lotta Rosie [Cover by NEMOPHILA]

Oh my gosh I can’t believe you had narcolepsy- you are officially the most interesting person I’ve ever known 👍🏼😂💕Sue
LOL
Broad brush there buddy.
