- BPC 157 is one of my more favorite peptides, in part because it comes from something in nature, but also because it has such a powerful impact on gut healing and musculoskeletal healing. These two areas are commonly an issue for many people, which leads to its use in my clinical practice with great success.

Dr. Timmermans is a licensed naturopathic doctor in Gilbert Arizona with a passion for helping his patients overcome chronic pain to reclaim their life. This passion is what drives him to think outside the box when helping patients who are looking to reduce/resolve pain. and avoid surgery if possible. With a clinical focus in regenerative injection therapies such as prolotherapy, PRP, and autologous cellular therapy, he takes a holistic approach to healing from chronic pain.
For those looking to try BPC-157, this is the current product I use personally and recommend for my patients, as it is the stable form of BPC-157: infiniwell.com/collections/regenerative-performance?rfsn=4194956.32c80c. We are using the BPC-157 capsules without SNAC.

Just bought the 500 mcg capsules. I am 37 and my joints are beat up from years of martial arts, running, and lifting.

You are a great Dr with a positive attitude. I wish more Dr's would listen to patients and work with them and achieve the end goal - HEALING!!! Regardless if you're eating anti-inflam diet, BPC 157, Drugs or placebo - whatever it is in life to heal is all that matters and I wish Dr's would have more faith and less skepticism on how someone achieves healing.
Thank you!
I love this video I already know about PPC but I didn't know about adding the extra stem cells and PRP and frollo therapy that makes it work better it's interesting I'm glad you explained. I wish you would do that more often because this is so informative
Don't need a ton of research when everyone is using it.
I love it, never felt better and recovered better than my life.
LOVE IT
Injectable or oral? Would this help what used to be a herniated disc but is now bone on bone or is stem cell therapy and or a disc replacement my only option?
@brentflowers7612 I'm not sure how effective this will be for arthritis. Stem cells are probably a better (but much more expensive) option due to them being able to inject them directly into the disc. A disc replacement is an option I would consider myself, but im not sure about the success rate of those. I'm sure a few years down the line, disc replacement tech will have improved significantly and be the go to option.
@@joemfahey thank you!
I used BPC-157 (oral) about a year ago. I've had issues with what feels like an ulcer in the duodendum area. I've had the ultrasound and ct scan but nothing to show. This had been going on for a few years. The BPC-157 seemed to help. It took about a month then I continued for another month. It's been a year now and I can feel it coming back from time to time. It does work but it takes some time
Oral has poor efficacy. Get the shot
I just started taking this yesterday. Have had a lifetime of gut issues. I don't go to Drs anymore, because they always tell me nothing is wrong or they just don't know. This is one more on a list of things I'm trying to heal my gut.

I had a total colectomy in 2008 due to severe ulcerative colitis. In 2018 I had a blockage in my small intestine that perforated, resulting in cutting out a few inches of my small intestine. Needless to say, I’ve had significant digestive issues over the last 14 years…namely frequency and urgency. I started taking BPC 157 a few weeks ago. Why was I never introduced to this sooner? I haven’t needed Imodium since I started taking this. Im anxious to observe more progression.
Thats amazing to hear you're seeing progress! This is they type of info we need to share so that more people can learn about it sooner.
Where’d you get it from and how much did you take per day? I’m currently dealing with UC issues as well.

I been dealing with gut issues my whole life. I think I’m gonna try this bpc157.

I had some pretty serious gut issues for about 3 years. I did ALL the tests and each time the specialist would say “ you are ok- nothing wrong here “ and yet my stomach was bloated every day around 3pm and start hurting all night !! I could barely eat anything without it setting off issues . After taking two months of BPC 157 plus TB 500 and I am all set ! I should try the pill form of TBC157

Hi Dr Drew! thanks a lot for this informative video. what peptides work for fascia and week muscles ?
For weakness we like to look at the GH secretagogues like CJC 1295 w/o DAC and ipamorelin. I am not aware of any peptides that are specific for fascia.

Great video Doctor! Would you recommend a certain dose of TB-500 when stacking with BPC-157? I would greatly appreciate any response on the subject
I know I’m a little late just saw your comment. I think once doctors give a dosage to a patient even over the Internet they assume liability for that patient I mean, generally speaking 300mcg bpc + 250mcg tb500/Thymosin beta-4 sub Q once daily is a good start you always wanna start at the lowest this is kind of a medium you could do the tb500 2x week in stead of daily 250x7= 1,750/2= 875mcg twice a week. I find that if you can get a blend of the two together at the right dosage one sub Q injection daily is convenient and has great effect. i’ve done a lot of research, but not a doctor just giving guidelines or a starting point for research. 🙏🏼👊🏼
@@coachtonythetiger much appreciated bro! I’m going to try bpc in a month or two. I had a pituitary tumor removed 5 years ago. Since then I’m still all screwed up even though all my hormones are at “normal” levels. Chris Farley ya, I’m gonna give it 3 months. I’ve also tried cjc and ipamorelin and mk677. I didn’t notice any changes on those either. Not even any increase in hunger in the mk which I feel like everyone says. Oh well. I’ll just keep trying. Thx man
Could this potentially help connective tissue disorders, like lupus? I heard gut health could have a lot to do with triggering lupus. I have taken BPC orally to help with mouth sores and they have healed quickly when there was no other solution working. Still very new and need to use it daily to know for sure. Thanks
I'm taking it for Lupus and it helps a lot with inflammation and joint pain.
In our clinic we do use it in patients with CT disorders and other autoimmune conditions as well
if u have acid reflux or slow stomach digestion or any intestinal issue like ibs or such and especially if this is cause by age or some other meds that irritate the gut, u may strongly consider trying this, also for brain and mood and tendonitis i recommend starting with oral, oral does work so trust that, i saw results and was very happy
oral definitely works if you have the right product! We recommend the arginate salt, which is currently only found through TMH (as they hold the patent) - bit.ly/2WsJtby
Hi Dr Timmermans, great info! Any chance you can say whether or not BPC will help with a labrum tear? Thank you for your time!
It can help yes, not sure if it will help yours or not!
So is taking it orally as effective as the other method if you want to optimise musculoskeletal and muscle/tendon recovery? Is there a big difference between taking it orally rather then injecting
No big difference between injections and oral for most people. Some people will notice a difference, but only way to know is to experiment with both.

Hey Doc. I've been dealing with some knee pain and even got an MRI a few months ago. The diagnosis was patellofemoral chondromalacia. No ligament, tendon, or meniscus damage but it looks like some of the cartilage behind my left knee is wearing down. The doc that i went too wasn't really helpful just tried to get me on anti-inflammatory meds which I don't want to take because it seems like it's just treating the symptom. I've been trying to fix this issue for the last almost 2 years now. If I'm sedentary, the pain slowly goes away but if I do something like play a game of basketball my knee is swollen and in pain for almost the next week after. Would it be wise to give BPC a shot and what dosage would you recommend? I know this is limited information but I'd love to hear your opinion.

Hi Drew! I've noticed that you are fairy active in your comments section so I'll try my luck to get your opinion on the case of mine - because, I must confess, I am a little desperate for some alternative aid.
The thing that I struggle with is a calcified distal tendon of a right triceps (plus the osteophyte that grows out of the ulna). To get it 'cleaned out' I had a surgery about 14 months ago and the latest UGS shows that it's all back. Osteophyte grew back and the tendon is still with the calcified spots. Elbow hurts so much I can't go back to sport - it's quite impossible to make one painess pull up...
Do you think there is something in BPC that may help? Please, share your thoughts. Thank you!
I'm sorry to hear you've been through that. It is possible that it may help with some of the pain associated with it. Not sure if it will reverse any bone growth (highly unlikely), but not all bone growths are painful so it could still help with symptoms! Im using it right now, its definitely not placebo. Ive had a wrist injury for 3 years and the injury is gone after a week.
Love it man
@@DrewTimmermansND however im comining it with tb500
Where did you source yours from?
what mg u using for bpc 187 daily? and tb500?
I can't find a compounding pharmacy that will even discuss peptides with me. My doctor's office is literally attached to a compounding pharmacy and my doc pretends he doesn't know anything about peptides and sarms. Maybe I look like fed? Idk.
It's a gray area so majority of places won't do it unless they are already familiar with it
It’s because peptides are quackery and only ND’s use them. Coincidence?
You should probably do your research before you make such outlandish statements of only NDs using peptides. Here's a very short list of MDs i personallg know who use peptides:
- Edwin Lee, MD
- Matt Cook, MD
- William Seeds, MD
- Elizabeth Yurth, MD
- Mark Gordon, MD
And if you want to find some more, you can actually search online. The international peptide society has some good resources
So I've been on a variety of therapies for my ulcerative colitis ( mesalamine, prednisone, rowasa, remicade, entyvio, xeljanz) and I haven't been able to get into full remission for more than two years at a time. Since 2017 I've spent more time flaring up than in remission. Do you see success with BPC 157 in cases of ulcerative colitis?
Update: for those looking to try BPC-157, this is the current product I use personally and recommend for my patients: infiniwell.com/collections/regenerative-performance?rfsn=4194956.32c80c
I went on the link but it doesn’t give an option to ship to Canada 🇨🇦.
Unfortunately not :(
Would this help with torn muscles, and tendonosis?
What’s the difference between bpc 157 and bpc complex?
I seen on your other video “Peptides to optimize healing” you said injectable subq in the belly fat is better overall - I have multiple bulging discs in my neck for 3 years due to a car accident. Would the pill form truly help? Or do you know where I could purchase the powder form & reconstitute it myself? $110 a month for the bottle of the oral method seems like it’s not worth it for my chronic neck pain. I love your videos btw extremely informative. 🙏🏼
been using this for nerve regeneration. Have had nerve pain for almost 10 years, currently on suboxone and lyrica for pain and just want to heal this and get off everything. Doctors say there is no cure. Been injecting 2.5mgs im (glutes/hip) per day everyday. On day 10.
Nikki Soger how’s everything going ?
Nikki Soger update please
Update please
For the Kentucky pharmacy where you get your product do you need a prescription to order from there?
Where would you advise injecting BPC-157 for cervical instability?
Thanks for the video! I was wondering where to inject BPC-157 on a partial rotator cuff tear?
Subq belly fat. You don't need to inject it over the area of pain. That's bro science
@Drew Timmermans, ND Thank you! Appreciate it
Do doctors in Canada even prescribe this ? I've had chronic pain for yearsand would love to give it a shot im just not sure if they conpound it up here . Great video explaining it all Merry Christmas!
They can compound up in Canada now (it just got passed). But you can also get the oral version we use and have it shipped to Canada. We use the BPC-157 capsules from InfiniWell as they use the arginate salt. To help out, we have a 20% patient discount code on our website regenerativeperformance.com/supplements (code is RP20). Once on that website, click the InfiniWell link, and then choose the product labeled 'BPC-157'. When you hover over the product, you will see it says 'Original Formula' above the ingredient box). This is the version that does not have SNAC, which we find works better.
@@DrewTimmermansND Thank you so much ! I'm excited to try and see if it helps .
Can you talk about ghrp6 and cjc doctor and any side effects?
After several years of sedentary life I picked up weightlifting again. I live in Queens so I had to drive 10 minutes away to Lake Success in LI and joined an LA fitness. I started slow but within a few months surprisingly I added muscle very quickly (I guess muscle memory is a real thing) I decided to start doing heavier weight with my last set doing a max load for 5 reps. Unfortunately that messed up my shoulder forcing me to therapy on my right shoulder. After 3 months there was very little improvement. I came across some peptide videos (Yours being one of those, so THANK YOU Dr.) and I ordered BPC 157. Within one month of two intramuscular injections daily (right in my shoulder muscle) my shoulder was in spectacular shape. I was getting quite strong and began doing a max weight set or two and my shoulder messed up again. I just started a combo bpc157 and BP500 blend, it's only been three days and I already started to feel a little improvement. There is a very odd thing that happens to me within a day or so of taking BPC157, I become regular. I suffer from a bit of constipation and I go every other day, sometimes once in 3 days. But when I'm on this BPC, I will hit the throne every day, sometimes twice a day. Has anyone experience this ? The 1st time I didn't connect it, but this cannot be a coincidence.
I'm so happy to hear you found something that's been helpful!
I am having that! Yet am also using a few other things...and switching my diet! Has it continued?
I have horrible gut issues. Been to numerous GI doctors. I’ve had my gallbladder removed and I take so many anti inflammatory anti acid medication. Nothing helps ever. I feel like I just need to heal my gut so I’m hoping I can get some relief with BPC 157
I hope it helps you. This is the brand we use - bit.ly/3gTNrEI. You can also get 10% off using code RP10
How did it work for you, any updates?

Does any one may recommend dosage specially for leaking gut and Ulcers? specially for liquid form.
When using BCP or TB4 with PRP do you have patients wait a certain amount of time after injection before using the peptides or can they start using right away?
I try to start patients on BPC-157 before procedures, but thymosin beta 4 i usually start the day of or the day after a procedure
@@DrewTimmermansND Thank you so much for responding!
I have been to the site to purchase the peptide you suggest. There are a few different variations..which do you prefer? I have a diagnosis of Collagenous Colitis and looks forward to increase my chance of returning to balance. I have been managing it with a limited diet....and not taking any of the offered steroid medications. Thanks so much for sharing this information!
We always use the Rapid Release regardless of what the patient has, and the standard dose is 500 micrograms once per day, so we recommend getting the pro so that it is just one capsule per day and the bottle will last you 2 months. You can also use our discount code, rp10 for 10% discount!
I need some of this
Give us a call for an appointment. FDA is taking it away
BPC 157 does help gut health. Heals stomach. I take it. 1-2 capsules at bed and sleep like a baby. Need to cycle it. 8 weeks on. 1+2 weeks off
I have terrible IBS, gastritis, GERD, and it will heal all of these partially
Could you please share your trusted source in Canada? Thanks for the great info!
@@DrewTimmermansND Is this your US source? Did you reference the 2bd, Canadian one, since it cannot be imported from another country?
CanLab
I second CanLab. They make their own stuff, they seem pretty legit. Some people say they can be expensive but when I bought 15mg each of BPC 157 and TB 500, CanLab was the most economical.
Drew Timmermans, ND
Prior to having gut health problems, this would be good to take for gut?
Is there a limit on how long a person can take BPC157? Is a course of therapy just one month or could someone stay on year round?
Hello mate. how are u. I have a problem with my left shoulder for years and i am thinking to use bpc157. i was just wondering does bpc157 effects fertility like TRT does ? Thx in advance and keep up this good work .
Great video. Can I ask if I mix 5mg vial with 2ml bac water taken 250mcg once per day. How many shots should I get from the vial? 250mcg should be tick mark 5 on a 100 unit syringe right? Hope you can help me. Thanks
Any update on that Crohn’s disease study?
Got a bad broken leg that just got put back together going to use this
Also check out StemRegen by Kalyagen. This is a huge new game changer in our practice. You can find it here - regenerativeperformance.com/supplements
Hi doctor, is it ok to take BPC 157 ok to take with Azathiropine? Have you seen people heal from UC/chrohns? Thank you.
Has anyone used this for buldging disc and stenosis?
Hi doc, I’ve tried to buy fro M the link in your description however they don’t ship to the uk. Do you have anywhere reputable that ships to the uk
Unfortunately I don't, sorry
Hey Doc, Do you know of any trusted places in Australia? I have a few online but they are backyard ones but have many satisfied customers but would prefer an actual lab to get it off.....Cheers for the videos. Very informative
unfortunately not, sorry
you fullscript link doesn't seem to be selling bpc 157. is it under another name?
Fullscript is for supplements only, and BPC 157 is a compounded medication. We order that through a Compounding pharmacy. Call our office if youd like to explore that 480 508 4226
Do you think bpc would be useful in chronic pancreatitis without necrosis or infection? Very painful with classic nausea, vomiting, and GI issues accompanied by super high lipase but normal imaging for 4.5 years. Thinking oral + IV peptide therapy may provide some relief but unsure ! Thanks
It can be. I cant say for you unless you were a patient sorry
Do you have any recommended sources( for peptides oral and injectable) for those of us in the UK? Can we purchase from US and have them shipped without effecting the quality?
I dont have any sources sorry.
