Why am I so superficial and shallow?

More than a year ago, I googled "Why am I so shallow?" and nothing came up. All I found was advice on how to deal with shallow people, but nothing from the perspective of someone who found themselves focused on superficial traits, and conscious of it. In this video I share my thoughts on this question.

I’m superficial because I don’t expect much from people (no really deep relationship) . Choose personality over looks to discover later that this person is also trash?! No thanks. Maybe I’ll mature later like you , but so far, I still haven’t met someone who made me feel that I’m wrong to think that way .

How many types of people are there that aren't trash? Why can't someone be OK or pretty good? Is there no spectrum between "amazing" or "trash"?
There are lots of good people in the world. But the best looking people often have the least necessity to be one of them.
