12:35 little bit of an error there. Moxley was no longer the IWGP US Champion at that time as he got defeated by Lance Archer in a Texas Deathmatch at AEW's Dynamite of Fyter Fest Night 2, July 21. All Out took place in September 5.

Forbbiden Door was awesome, it's sad that there was so much injuries but the dreams match we didn't have will eventually happen, and also I wanted Andrade and Rush to reunite with Naito, it's sad that a stupid AAA/CMLL took that from us.

If you are not aware the reason why Collision in Korea was such a big attendence was because it wasn't in south Korea, it was in North Korea so everyone was required to attend. Dark Side of The Ring has a great episode on it.
Yeah I’ve watched that episode of dark side of the ring. It’s really interesting to see how that event came to be. It’s crazy how they were basically forced to go.
Forbidden Door was a great show. And that's with INJURIES AND POLITICS plaguing the card. I can't even imagine what a full strength Forbidden Door 2 would look like

For FB2 I'd love for Okada to get a singles match, the 4-way was fun aside from the sudden finish, but didn't really give Okada proper time to shine.

I’m glad there’s a relationship between AEW and NJPW currently now but I do wish we got it earlier on when AEW started but I’m still happy to see this relationship happening and I hope it continues on forward.

I don't feel we can quite say Hogan was the inaugural IWGP Champion. He did win the first instance of the G1 Climax (then called the IWGP League) where the winner was awarded a championship, but said championship was only defended once annually at the event itself and ended up being replaced 4 years later with the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, which ended up as NJPW's top title and does not count the IWGP League belt in its lineage. I'd say its more akin to the likes of the Dynamite Diamond Ring.

How weird is that? Like when you think of all the IWGP heavyweight champions, Hulk Hogan would not come to mind but he was in fact the first IWGP champ for the first itteration of the belt.

How did you left out Hiroshi Tanahashi doing a video for Chris Jericho anniversary, who started the phrase "The Forbidden Door".
Also you left out Kenny Omega part of opening the door by using Kenta help with NJPW.
The video from Hiroshi Tanahashi for Chris Jericho’s anniversary did not start the phrase forbidden door. Tanahashi coined that phrase in an interview in Japan when he was building up his match with chris Jericho. The phrase existed since 2019. And also yeah Kenny omegas involvement should be pointed out more in the video tbh. But I will improve and next time I will be better! Thank you for watching.

I think it was a feast for NJPW fans. And I won't comment on the quality of the matches because as a casual viewer, I have nothing good to say. From a business standpoint, I think both companies knew what they were doing and the benefits of working together, so I won't be a smart ass and try to criticize their business results.
But I think I'll be loose a bit and tell you my thoughts on the booking, it was fucking worst.
Nothing felt definitive. Why would anyone be surprised with NJPW guys's surprise debuts when they announced partnership and Forbidden Door PPV? I think if it was a comic book where DC and Marvel characters crossed, I might be pleased. But Pro Wrestling is not a comic book. It's a sport. And nothing ever felt groundbreaking. It doesn't help that none of the AEW guys ever felt any different from NJPW guys.
And NJPW guys, they showed no attitude. They didn't cut bitter promos, Kazuchika Okada for example. There was no exciting rivalries. It was just "two good wrestlers from two companies fight each other". There was no characteristic definition to the whole thing.
Also, for years, 'smark' fans like you complained about Raw vs Smackdown Survivor Series matches not having any stake. Well, what was on stake during this whole forbidden door stuff? Atleast WWE did an exclamation point that it was brand to brand competition, and that's a good sell. Obviously guys from Raw and Smackdown want to fight each other. From characteristic standpoint, everyone want to be the best.
But here, nothing was up. There was no NJPW vs AEW feel. It just felt like a crossover, and a partnership. It doesn't help that their wrestling have problematic choreography where wrestlers seem like they're helping each other perform a move. By not emphasizing on competition, or creating a compelling narrative, it felt like a stripped pro wrestling PPV where everything felt, fake. And was supposed to be seen as such.
You're a casual mark. Forbidden Door doesn't cater to casuals like you. So, you don't know what the hell you're talking.
