@AgeOfWrestling His run as "Le Champion" was great, but everything after that was exactly as Ricky Starks described. A "clout vampire". He looked for the biggest up and coming stars and drained the fans' interest in them. The only guy to recover from it was MJF.
Take away that song and his run has been mid.
The fact that Jack Perry got pissed at Punk because Punk was telling him to use fake glass for precautionary reasons, is so stupid that AEW should never rehire Perry.
Punk started the fight with Perry. I personally want to see Jack Perry back in AEW.

Apologies for the video going straight to tier 4. A lot is missing as 29 minutes of the video had to be cut because AEW copyright striked the video for no reason. This has never happened before but I'm assuming it's because this video doesnt paint AEW in the best light even though I'm just bringing up actual things that happened in AEW. It's shocking that AEW is no different to WWE in the sense that when you disagree with them or criticize them, they censor you. I'm used to WWE being petty like this but not AEW. What happened to the game I love? I used to be a die hard fan of AEW, but stuff like this just pushes me further from AEW. Oh well, at least WWE is good again.

Well, the promotion is 5 years old and it started on a (thankfully) very different time in pro wrestling, for the better. Again, thankfully (not so thankfully for the owner of the channel 😂) this video is not so interesting in terms of spicy and controversial stories.

I started out as a huge fan of aew, but all of the ridiculous matches and inconsistent booking drove me away. I'd still be watching if they could've had more stuff like Cody vs. Dustin, Danielson's short-lived heel run, and MJF's feuds with Punk and Starks.
AEW was exciting in the beginning and had so much promise but TK's ego and absurd booking has made it a laughing stock 😂😂😂

Probably one of the best introductory videos to new fans on who AEW is and where they've come from as a company, throughout the highs and the lows. It's been one heck of a journey these past four years in wrestling.
I think AEW in 2024 is going to be an all time for the company. It will be loved by the people who enjoy it, and hated by people who suffer sleepless nights about AEW's successes.

I truly do not understand how anyone could think AEW is poised for a great year in 2024. The company is at the lowest point it’s ever been right now.
People who don’t like AEW aren’t suffering sleepless nights over its successes. They’re suffering headaches from listening to marks delude themselves into believing “everything is great”, like TK always says.
@@jackieparmz Except for the excellent matches week to week.. when I want to see some good ole melodrama I watch WWE. When I want to see sports based wrestling I watch AEW and others. You can like both. The fact that you got triggered by the sleepless nights comment leads me to believe you have sleepless nights.

I don't think you understand how icebergs are supposed to work. Typically the bottom tier is reserved for obscure and lesser known stuff. CM Punk is arguably the most known thing here
I know how it works, However me and my team decided it was best to structure the video in this way because literally everyone knows about the CM punk drama and if we put it in the beginning of the video, people would click off. It’s at the end because on average about 30-40% of people watch the video till the end. So you’d rather have the CM punk stuff in that range rather than in the beginning when the audience retention is in 80-100%. If we mentioned CM punk earlier in the video people would click off the video. Part of the CZcams game is knowing the audience and optimising the video in the best way to keep retention. CM punk at the end was intentional. Hope that clears that up and thank you for watching the video.

Aew has their ups and downs but at the end of the day I still love the product because now they're going back to long-term storytelling and building up characters for future story lines in 2024 if you had a bit for aew my love for professional wrestling will have died aew restore my love for the business and I'm forever thankful because of Tony Khan and company

@@johnbeal6114 I'll be there with you mate. I stopped watching wrestling regularly after WCW folded and WWF/E had eaten up all other companies and it went stale very, very fast.
Where I live, I didn't know or have access to Chikara, CZW, ROH or TNA and I stopped until I heard about this pipebomb promo on RAW. I'll admit it got my interest until Phil left WWE and here we are in 2018 and I'm hearing about this new upstart company selling 10,000 seats as an independent show.
I watched it on fite and haven't stopped since then, every show, every dark, every elevation, I love the product they bring.
Do I think it's perfect? No. Do I like the direction all the time? No. Does it give me the entertainment and professional wrestling fix I've not had since ECW? Hell Yes. Does it provide me an alternative to the stale, souless machine that is WWE? Hell Yes.
All power to you if you enjoy WWE, TNA, ROH, MLW, AEW, whatever. I feel the same for AEW that I did for ECW, the underdog company always trying new things and taking chances. The glitz and glamour of WWE just doesn't do it for me, and it never really did. I rewatch the attitude era Raw/Heat and Smackdowns and all I can say is nostalgia is a powerful thing. I can't even watch it now, it isn't wrestling its all sexual exploitation, and very childish behaviour, it shows their audience was my age at the time late teenagers and early 20s the MTV generation if you will.
We're passed all that now, AEW won't be doing that, no company will be doing that, its professional wrestling and I like it.
P.S I'm very much looking forward to Sareena Deebs, return she needs to kick arse and get a title on her waist.

TK needs someone running his twitter. He's professional when someone is kissing his ass but if he's criticized in any way, he has a tantrum and a meltdown. Stole said something reasonable about the internal structure of AEW backstage and his response was "youre a bad wrestler". Keep in mind, she has to take time away from chronic physical pain that can affect full body movement and he knew that. She didn't say "youre racist" but questioned structures in AEW's management overall.
PS a lack of structure is what led them to their constant problems today
