- I was messing around with this new pedal the kind folks at Siren Pedals sent me, when it struck me that it's the perfect grumpy fuzzy distortion for a Bush song. So I thought I'd demo the pedal for you and teach you Comedown on the guitar in one fell swoop!

I just saw Bush live, opening for Alice of Chains... holy crap they might be my favorite live performance ever! Flowers on a Grave, Comedown, More Than Machines... they knocked it out of the park. Gavin has some insane energy.
Thanks for this tutorial video!
my golf buddy went to that show in charlotte!
Such a great album. Love this song!

Glad it was helpful!
That pedal is nice. Great tutorial once again!
thanks B!
Man you nailed that tone!
thanks Steve!
Loving the HH Tele man that is a powerful sound
Thanks Amy! It's actually a shecter on which I've replaced the neck with a tele neck. It is my most powerful guitar.
I came here searching for that last chord. I didn't leave disappointed. I left laughing. Thank you!
cheers Doug thank you :)
K just checked out that pedal on here how funny, love it and seriously considering it
I can definitely recommend it if you're looking for a gritty fuzz. I'm learning that all pedals are just something you have to get to know so that you can know to call upon it when needed, and hence, one cannot own too many pedals.
Great band. Thanks Ryan. My first request I wish Glicerine lesson please.
yesssssssss good idea Fernando thank you!
The Fuzz is here! Everyone run!!
Jus' kidding. That definitely gives it the signature Bush fuzz. Outstanding!!
dangit I ran!!
Thanks for this Ryan! Learning lots from your videos super glad I stumbled on your channel. Could you pick apart Bush's new tune for us- Flowers on A Grave?
Hello again Mama - thanks for the request I'm glad you're having a nice time :)

Ryan Bertram great song, great band
fun request fellow Ryan thank you :)
Woah boy. Here's some trivia that is somewhat dear to me.
Gavin Rossdale wrote this song about Suze DeMarchi, lead singer of the Baby Animals, Aussie rock group that I was SUPPOSED to go and see this Easter weekend just gone, until it was cancelled by some stupid global virus pandemic.
Anyway, Baby Animals launched with HUGE success over here, very quickly got picked up by Van Halen to open for them on a tour of the US, with EVH gifting a guitar to Dave Leslie of the Baby Animals (great guitarist himself) and as they were about to embark on their own solo tour, the label went bankrupt and it all went to shit.
Suze ended up marrying Nuno Bettencourt, moved to America and that was basically the end of the band for a decade or so.
Anyway, this song exists because Suze is an absolute rock goddess, that I've had a crush on for about thirty years now.
haha thank you for sharing Kane :)
Nice lesson Ryan, how is it going settling in to your new place?
it's slowly starting to feel like a home. we love it here. Thanks for asking Chris :)
Awesome tutorial! What about Glycerine or Machinehead for the future?

I actually discovered this tune on an charity album called No Boundaries that also contains 2 Pearl Jam tracks (Last Kiss and Soldier of Love)

I had that album too :)!
Hey man, Bush has a new album out and there's a song on there that I really want to learn how to play. Listen to "Quicksand" on the new album "The Kingdom" !
I love that our bands are still making albums :) thank you for the suggestion Sonny
@@RyanLendt no problem brother! Enjoy your lessons! Think you could do a tutorial on the Quicksand song when you get a chance?
How about some 90s 3rd wave ska?
sure. Also, I have a Russian Tortoise named Stephen :)
Can you do Testosterone by Bush? I love that song and your vids. I cant find any tutorials of it. :(

Can you start by playing the song? It helps.

@@RyanLendt Always glad to represent one of the best post-grunge bands from across the pond.
Also: I'm finally a proud supporter of the cause! I really love your channel :D Thank you for everything!
Adding numbers to notes is confusing. We’re learning guitar not piano. What concept am I missing here?
quite a few
Propriocepting - Double Diarrhoea Field Inhabitant Confirmed :)
WOOHOO!
Glycerin. Vasoline. Fuzz.
old milk
I weigh about 16 stone. And I'm old enough to appreciate Bush. Coincidence? Yeah. Most likely.
"Appreciate Bush" that's an oxymoron I believe
I didn't mean the band. Get your mind into the gutter.
I'm not doing outside house work damn it.
the pat squad everybody
