Now that I found this channel, tabs are no longer necessary, there is no struggle. Ryan, I know you’re an STP fan but have you ever heard of a band called Talk Show? They were basically the members of STP but with a different singer back in 1997. They didn’t last long but put out a good single called “hello hello”. Check it out.

I had a summer camp group who wrote and recorded a silly song about dogs taking over the world or something and we recorded it and put it up on spotify (i've since taken it down) under the band name they picked for themselves... wait for it... Talk Show. I had no idea that that had anything to do with STP (neither did they) and I was befuddled for years about why it was getting many many plays. It literally sat there as an album published by the band you're referring to on their spotify page for years. Nobody ever called or emailed to threaten jail time hehe, but many many people must have been very very confused because it was obviously a haphazard effort by a group of enthusiastic but terrible 11 year olds.
Taking from a few songs is quite relevant. Mike McCready was quick to disclaim creative credit for the solo from Alive, saying he basically "copied Ace Frehley's solo from 'She', which was copied from Robby Krieger's solo in The Doors' 'Five to One'." Lesson founded santastic!

Reznor's Hurt was always bad ass, Cash gave it a different feel that was good but I'm a little nin bias.

Savin Petru not sure what you’re seeing here, but this uses G and C. Smells like teen spirit uses G# and C#. And that’s just the chord shapes described in standard tuning. Lake of fire is down a half steep so it’s actually F# and B.
