I was their for blink 182 but am now also a fan of these guys both bands killed it

I was at the detroit show. Before the show I had known of turnstile but had never listened to them and after the show I became a huge turnstile fan

@@Beezle66 they are constantly touring. obviously they wanted to take the chance to open for one of the biggest bands of the 90s. at the same time they’ve played (at least in chicago) probably 5 times since glow on came out, only two of them being a supporting act. and they are about to be a headliner at a festival here again in september. when i saw them here earlier this year they ran through old and new music. it’s just situational but they are touring their ass off playing an insane amount of shows. just depends if you see a turnstile show or a show where turnstile is opening for someone else. but they are doing more than enough to make sure everyone gets to see them somehow.

I’ll be seeing them yet again in Long Island in a week and a half. I wish they were playing more of the older material, but I get why the setlist is the way it is.

Sounds like Blink only gave Turnstile access to a less then half power PA system. What a weak eighties move!
I went to the Pittsburgh date of this tour and both Turnstile and Blink had really good sound

The person filming is behind the PA mains and it seems their getting more of stage volume with the actual speaker volume coming in a few milliseconds later. If you noticed that reverb slap that’s following the stage volume that’s the mains throwing the sound at the back of arena, it reflecting off and coming back.

We were at the DC show and we couldn’t even hear the person singing, sounded like mumbling. Also the instruments in general just sounded unbalanced.

Were his vocals this quiet or is it just the recording? Seems like he isn't really going full blast or they need to turn him up in the mix!
i think most of the mix is probably normal just the drums are turned up way loud, everything sounds quieter to me
can't mix em how they should be and have the opener rip harder than blink lol
He's recording from the front row. usually it doesnt have a good sound from there, because theres no speakers pointing at the place (Even with a Front Fill System). So, as the drums are the loudest thing on stage, that eats the whole mix from other sounds. Sorry for my english

Not that I saw. The way the stage and seated area is set up, there wouldn’t be much room for it.

Brady left early last year and Greg Cerwonka of Take Offense had been filling in since then. not sure why he's not on this tour, he might have had prior commitments with Take Offense or just needed a break.

I can honestly say turnstile just misses the mark. Some truly annoying vocals, unremarkable guitar riffs, just a generic sound. And the abysmal little electronic synths or whatever they have littered throughout their songs are so weird they don't sound like they belong anywhere near their sound.
