It was a tight fit solo & flooring was heavily warped. Visually it looked clean at least. The dedicated workspace had commendable ergonomics, but outlets were few & far. Bring an extension cord if traveling with another/multiple gadgets. AC is so loud & requires running constantly in these 100+ temps. BED -- 👍 Decent sleep. Comforter/blanket textures were unpleasant to the touch. I still enjoyed the mattress, which provided the exact firmness I needed. Linens felt soft, clean. Pillow arrangement was satisfactory too: quantity was just right + the build was sufficiently dense. BATH -- 👎 The shower tiles are too beautiful for words! A GREAT distraction from the ceiling condition, cobwebs, & mineral buildup on the shower head. It's a small space that felt cramped doing more than 1 thing at a time in here. Lacoupe bath products appear to be stocked but were empty during my stay. Towels were in fair condition & large enough to wrap around. TV/ACTIVITIES -- 👍 Tightly mounted 42" Samsung TV. The remote is frustrating to use; channels are slow to change. Press too many buttons & it crashes altogether. It's impossible to reach the back ports for streaming/gaming. Their pool/spa was closed, a bummer on these 107 degree days. WI-FI & CELL RECEPTION -- 👎 Painful wireless infrastructure. Not the usual quality from a Best Western. Albertsons & some impressive coffee shops are within walking distance. in-room: ✅ microwave (mini) ✅ mini-fridge (medium) ❌ coffee ❌ tea ❌ wet-bar ❌ mini-bar NOISE -- 👍 Thin walls but it worked out to be a quiet stay. LOCATION -- 👍 Beautiful surroundings; it's a delightful city to stroll through. Nice variety of shops & restaurants in proximity. 10m from Hoover Dam (The thing you care about most). RECOMMENDATION & RATING Price: $112.99/night Was it worth it: no Best part: location Misrepresented as a hotel; the vibe, rooms, & architecture is a motel, regardless of how polished or quirky the property may appear. As a motel, it's overpriced but the location is a win. I don't see myself returning. Lukewarm recommendation. 3/5 ⭐
