This looks like an excellent place to stay. That's a bummer that there's no shelving in the shower and the resort fee for an unheated pool. Y'all's views of the Atlantic Ocean were incredible. We love everything about y'all's channel, but especially appreciate you guys for always being candid. We always look forward to your videos and your insight.
We enjoyed our stay here. We try to be honest in our reviews and bring out things that we think others would want to know. I just felt that this hotel was not the type of hotel to have a resort fee. But even with the resort fee it was more budget friendly than others. Hope y'all are having a wonderful week.

Looks like a lovely, well appointed room and a lovely resort right there on the beach, David, Cindy and Carly. We love both North Myrtle and Myrtle Beach in the shoulder season. (Early autumn or spring) Some bargains to be found! Nice hotel breakfast here too. I have had enough of the cellophane wrapped stale donuts! 🤣🤣Loved the balcony. Being on the road roughly 7 months a year, we don't need fancy. Just clean, well maintained and budget friendly! Nice pool area albeit unheated. Our boys loved the beach there in the area and that's where we first "boogie boarded." Loved your tour and review.

Glad you had a good time. Sometimes older hotels can have some fun character, but I couldn't tell with this one. The shower issue is one I ran into nearly every week when I used to travel on business a lot.
As far as the one pool not being heated, as long as you had access to the heated pools with not too much inconvenience, it should be okay for Best Western 3 star. That view and location at a reasonable price makes up for a lot of minor inconveniences! At least it appeared that way. I'd give it a try and see if I'd be satisfied before paying up for 4 star.
We really enjoyed ourselves. It was great to experience Myrtle Beach again. I would agree that the heated pool was not that big of a deal because of having access to a heated pool. It's great that they have the extra pool because I'm sure during the summer and busier times that extra pool is needed. Of course you have the ocean during the warmer months too.

The😢 only problem is the crazy people running through your room haha. How long did you guys stay there? I hope you had good weather 🌞 Carly seemed bummed out the pool wasn't heated. Not sure but we always have the problem of crazy people running through our room everywhere we go. lol Carly was able to get into the lazy river and the indoor pool. We had mixed weather there. One day it did rain and at the beginning of the week it was warmer. We stayed 5 nights. We wanted to stay longer. lol Thanks so much for watching and commenting.

Yeah, North Myrtle is the place to stay in the Myrtle Beach area. I've long since given up going there since there's so many nicer places to stay in Florida. But the beach looked nice! Glad you had a good time! Thanks for sharing!❤❤❤
We love the gulf coast in Florida. This was a good stay for us for spring bring and closer to us than Florida. Love the beach.

We had a great time. We are used to going to the beach when it is warmer and getting in the ocean. But even though who was too cool for that we still had a great time. Looking forward to going to the beach this summer!

no shelves in showers is a long standing issue for me, as us ladies need a place to put our foot up onto, to shave our legs.. have you tried to shave legs with your feet flat on the floor? lol. so, a shelf to put stuff on AND a foot or seat area, is a must. we often put a trashcan, upside down, in there for shelving or to put a foot on. it helps in a pinch.

Looks like a nice place. However, the lack of a hot tub would have me looking for one so equipped. It's almost as if there's a "war" against hot tubs in U.S. hotels. Especially east of the Mississippi. Whenever I see one listed online at a hotel I'm considering, I call the hotel to verify its operation. Really sad to see a former hot tub that's been filled-in. First time I've seen an included breakfast that isn't self serve. One of my "go-to's" at such is sausage gravy on bread. The Choice Hotels brands have an institutional version that is uniformly good. BW franchisees tend to be more individualistic I've seen really good... and I've seen... meh!. Vladimir Zworykin would've loved that sunrise shot! Didn't look as crowded and noisy as MB itself. A plus, in my book. Another A+ video. God Bless!
I have noticed at other hotels that hot tubs have been taken out and filled in. One we went to had been filled in with fake plants. I do like a nice hot tub. We seldom eat breakfast at the hotels. Carly will get her some cereal. Of course we were not at the beach during the summer season but North Myrtle was so much more peaceful than when we visited Myrtle Beach on our trip. God Bless!
