I love how Orichalcos wasn't necessarily evil in the original version. It feeds on and amplifies darkness of the heart, but how far that darkness goes is dependant on its user. This theme perfectly symbolizes it.
Let's be honest. It is pretty evil even in the original, I'd even say that this theme is definitely sinister even if it's not like the english dub song.
@@lpfan4491 Judai would probably overpower the Seal or free the Orichalcos God instantly if his soul was taken. He is the embodiment of a cosmic force and, come Season 4, has fused with a Duel Spirit capable of taming the 3 Phantasms, which are able to consume all duel spirits in the earth.

English = A sense of impending doom, like what started as a duel between two duelist has just become a high stakes/life or death game. Japanese = A dark yet mysterious force has overtaken the field and the atmosphere just changed, taking a darker and more sinister vibe. Both versions are just fine if you ask me.

yes he can but since it hasn't been activated if the person has another seal or somehow recovers that one he can try to activate it again, I personally use dust tornado because it's effect is not to negate the activation of a magic card but destroy it. although dust tornado must be activated the moment the seal is or else it wont work
I remember when I first heard this and thought it was trash compared to the English dub version. Then I watched the whole show subbed and boy was I wrong. This, along with Passionate Duelist, has to be my favourite theme from the show. Not hating on the dub, just an observation.
the problem with the American version is that it is more of an "in your face" sort of style. this actually feels much more dramatic when it is played. having a moment of silence makes it much more effective. for example, character dialogue occurs without music. a quick pause when opponent draws card. then suddenly he says plays the seal of orichalcos and a sudden fanfare plays in the end.
that is why I prefer the Japanese version.i am not saying the English version is bad, but I find the Japanese music much more effective. what ruins the effectiveness in the English du is the constant music being played. one thing about the English version however is that it is less repetitive.
