This is the japanese version of Dartz theme from Yu-Gi-Oh. I'm not sure if it can stay long on youtube due copyright and stuff, but i hope you enjoy this beautiful music.
Not only that, Dartz was also brainwashed by the Great Leviathan through the Orichalcos. after he was freed by Atem, Dartz was shown to be genuinely relieved to see his father and daughter again. This means Dartz has been lived for 10.000 years under the mind control of the Orichalcos, he deeply loved his family, but the brainwashing forced him to kill innocent people including his own family and his original self can only watch it all happened, as his body was no longer his own.
That's BS apologetic thing I dislike about dartz, he was EVIL, I didn't like that they redeemed himself in anime. He was evil, don't start with that orichakcos BS mind control.
In general terms of music's fictions (video games, movies, animes...), _Yu-Gi-Oh!_ has my favorite soundtrack with Sonic games' and Ice Age movies ! Even if I like 4Kids' soundtrack, one of good things they did with the voice casting...
The music just conveys a different feel. This conveys more the tragic side to Dartz, whereas the English Dartz theme conveys the aspiration to be a God and to rule alongside the Great Leviathan.
I agree plus his lines were better. YuGi: Dartz you're the only one left we already defeated your three muskateers. Dartz: I wonder. YuGi: What do you mean? Dartz: It's true that you defeated my three muskateers however they were already planned offerings from the start. Tea: That's Just too cruel Dartz: That alone will not suffice I am in need of you're souls in order to complete the resurrection of my god.
" A failed king brought back to pay for his sins after being responsible for the fall of Egypt" I find it ironic how Dartz talks about himself in a subtle way and tries to paint Atem as the villain to justify his intentions.
They share similarities in the sense they both failed their missions the first time so had to come back to do it millenias later, Atem could not destroy Zorc the first time and basically paused the situation for the time, Dartz failed to restore order to Atlantis and was forced to live on till he set things right but over time his vision was corrupted, also due to the unusual spiritual scenarios they were both excluded from the reincarnation process which everyone normally goes through, like Seto and Isis etc, Mahad no longer reincarnates as by sealing his fate to the Pharaoh he removed himself from the material world permanently, his heroic act deified him forever more and he continues to serve Atem in the higher dimensions as we got a glimpse of in DSOD.
@@MultiJudgmentdragon dartz shouldn't been apologized, I wish he standed with his nihilistic ideology till very end. Disliked that he all of sudden redeemed himself.

We need to combine both American and Japanese themes, this one first to express the suffering & deprivation and the other as a turn to madness and dispare.
@@maryafantalia8614 I didn't mean Universal Studio. I meant music that they use for all situations as opposed to situational music that they use for specific situations like The Sealed Miracle used for whenever Yugi/Yami summons a game-changing monster like Exodia, The Egyptian Gods, or Knight of Destiny. There is also Egyptian God Monsters which is a theme used whenever an opponent summons a monster like that. For instance, when Kaiba summons Obelisk or Dartz summons Geh. Edit: I misremembered. His English voice makes him older (and not sure what the voice reminds me of). I think Dartz should have the voice of Sephiroth. Yet, those two characters are similar in some ways.
Unfortunately, Marik is probably a more tragic character than Dartz is...probably because all he really wanted was revenge against someone who wasn't even guilty in the first place (if anyone should be blamed for the events leading up to Battle City, I would frankly blame Shadi), while Dartz desired to "cleanse" the world by destroying it, which is so many levels of ridiculous that I can't even begin to describe it. On the other hand, it's a beautiful theme, but I just don't think it quite fits Dartz, given what his plan (cleanse the earth of impure souls by destroying it) is. Yes, Dartz is very redeemable if you look carefully (I don't buy the dub's explanations for his framing Valon, impersonation Gozoboro after Alister's brother was killed, or Rafael's being caught in a typhoon being caused Dartz for one second), but it takes a lot...far more so than either Marik or Pegasus.
Disagree Dartz was more evil, and he shouldn't be redeemed or want to get redeemed, his philosophy was smart and logical. And he shouldn't end up as a reformed man, after all was said and done. I feel like they didn't utilize on his evil enough, they just cheapen his villainous nature.

This sounds peaceful for a person who took souls for 10,000 years trying to resurrect a leviathan that could kill everyone and who turned the 3 legendary knights to dragons
Or it could be the sound of a man trapped by immortality, unable to die and join his father, wife and daughter, cursed by the Orichalcos God (Not Leviathan) to take souls to create a world with no conflict or strife.
